Ruku 79
1 Surahs11 Versesركوع 79
4:116
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
لَا
does not
يَغۡفِرُ
forgive
أَن
that
partners be associated
بِهِۦ
with Him
وَيَغۡفِرُ
but He forgives
مَا
[what]
دُونَ
other than
ذٰ لِكَ
that
لِمَن
for whom
He wills
وَمَن
And whoever
associates partners
بِٱ للَّهِ
with Allah
فَقَدۡ
then surely
ضَلَّ
he lost (the) way
ضَلَـٰ لاَۢ
straying
far away
Indeed, Allāh does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allāh has certainly gone far astray.
4:117
إِن
Not
they invoke
مِن
from
besides Him
إِلَّآ
but
إِنَـٰ ثًا
female (deities)
and not
they invoke
إِلَّا
except
شَيۡطَـٰ نًا
Shaitaan
rebellious
They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan,
4:118
لَّعَنَهُ
He was cursed
by Allah
وَقَالَ
and he said
لَأَتَّخِذَنّ َ
I will surely take
مِنۡ
from
عِبَادِكَ
your slaves
نَصِيبًا
a portion
appointed
Whom Allāh has cursed. For he had said, "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion.
4:119
وَلَأُضِلَّنّ َهُمۡ
And I will surely mislead them
وَلَأُمَنّ ِيَنّ َهُمۡ
and surely arouse desires in them
وَلَأَمُرَنّ َهُمۡ
and surely I will order them
فَلَيُبَتِّكُنّ َ
so they will surely cut off
ءَاذَانَ
(the) ears
(of) the cattle
وَلَأَمُرَنّ َهُمۡ
and surely I will order them
فَلَيُغَيِّرُنّ َ
so they will surely change
خَلۡقَ
(the) creation
(of) Allah
وَمَن
And whoever
takes
the Shaitaan
وَلِيًّا
(as) a friend
from
besides
Allah
فَقَدۡ
then surely
خَسِرَ
he (has) lost
خُسۡرَانًا
a loss
manifest
And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allāh." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allāh has certainly sustained a clear loss.
4:120
يَعِدُهُمۡ
He promises them
وَيُمَنّ ِيهِمۡۖ
and arouses desires in them
وَمَا
and not
يَعِدُهُمُ
promises them
the Shaitaan
إِلَّا
except
غُرُورًا
١٢٠deception
He [i.e., Satan] promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion.
4:121
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those
مَأۡوَٮٰ هُمۡ
their abode
جَهَنّ َمُ
(is) Hell
وَلَا
and not
يَجِدُونَ
they will find
عَنۡهَا
from it
مَحِيصًا
١٢١any escape
The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.
4:122
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe[d]
وَعَمِلُواۡ
and do
[the] righteous deeds
سَنُدۡ خِلُهُمۡ
We will admit them
جَنّ َـٰ تٍ
(in) Gardens
flow
مِن
from
underneath it
the rivers
خَـٰ لِدِينَ
will abide
فِيهَآ
in it
أَبَدًاۖ
forever
A Promise
(of) Allah
حَقًّاۚ
(in) truth
and who
أَصۡدَقُ
(is) truer
مِنَ
than
Allah
قِيلاً
١٢٢(in) statement
But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allāh, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allāh in statement.
4:123
لَّيۡسَ
Not
بِأَمَانِيِّكُمۡ
by your desire
وَلَآ
and not
أَمَانِىِّ
(by the) desire
أَهۡلِ
(of the) People
(of) the Book
مَن
Whoever
does
سُو ٓءًا
evil
will be recompensed
بِهِۦ
for it
وَلَا
and not
يَجِدۡ
he will find
لَهُۥ
for him
مِن
from
besides
Allah
وَلِيًّا
any protector
and not
نَصِيرًا
١٢٣any helper
It [i.e., Paradise] is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allāh a protector or a helper.
4:124
وَمَن
And whoever
does
مِنَ
[of]
[the] righteous deeds
مِن
from
(the) male
أَوۡ
or
أُنث َىٰ
female
وَهُوَ
and he
مُؤۡمِنٌ
(is) a believer
then those
يَدۡ خُلُونَ
will enter
Paradise
وَلَا
and not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
they will be wronged
نَقِيرًا
١٢٤(even as much as) the speck on a date-seed
And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.
4:125
وَمَنۡ
And who
أَحۡسَنُ
(is) better
دِينًا
(in) religion
than (one) who
أَسۡلَمَ
submits
وَجۡ هَهُۥ
his face
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَهُوَ
and he
مُحۡسِنٌ
(is) a good-doer
and follows
مِلَّةَ
(the) religion
إِبۡ رٰ هِيمَ
(of) Ibrahim
حَنِيفًاۗ
(the) upright
And was taken
(by) Allah
إِبۡ رٰ هِيمَ
Ibrahim
خَلِيلاً
١٢٥(as) a friend
And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allāh while being a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allāh took Abraham as an intimate friend.
4:126
وَلِلَّهِ
And for Allah
مَا
(is) what
فِى
(is) in
the heavens
وَمَا
and what
فِى
(is) in
the earth
وَكَانَ
and is
Allah
بِكُلِّ
of every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
All-Encompassing
And to Allāh belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allāh, of all things, encompassing.
