Read this prayer in the morning
اَللّٰھُمَّ بِکَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِکَ أَمْسَیْنَا وَبِکَ نَحْیَا وَبِکَ نَمُوْتُ وإلَیْکَ الْمَصِیْرُ
Translation
O Allah! With Your Power we enter in the morning and in the evening and with Your Power we stay alive and die and unto You is the Gathering
Read this prayer when the sun rises
َاَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِي أَقَالَنَا يَوْمَنَا هٰذَا وَلَمْ يُهْلِكْنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا
Translation
All praise is for Allah who has spared us today and has not destroyed us because of our sins
Read this prayer in the evening
اَللّٰھُمَّ بِکَ أمْسَیْنَا وَبِکَ أصْبَحْنَا وَبِکَ نَحْیا وَبِکَ نَمُوْتُ وإلَیْکَ النُّشُوْرُ
Translation
O Allah! With Your Power we enter in the evening and in the morning and with Your Power We stay alive and die and unto You is the Gathering
A special dua recited in the morning and in the evening
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
Translation
With the blessings of the name of Allah, whose Name wards off all harm on the earth and in the heavens. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
Duas recited when sleeping
اَللّٰھُمَّ قِنِیْ عَذَابَکَ یَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبادَکَ
Translation
O Allah! Save me from Your punishment on the day when You shall gather Your servants
Or read this prayer when sleeping
اَللّٰھُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Translation
O Allah! With Your name I die and I stay alive
Read this prayer when rising up
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ اَحْیَانَا بَعْدَ مَآ اَمَاتَنَا وَاِلَیْہِ النُّشُوْرُ
Translation
All Praise is for Allah who has given us life after death and to Him is the Gathering (on the Day of Judgement)
When going to the toilet say Bismillah before entering and then recite the following dua
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Translation
O Allah! I seek your refuge from the jinns, male and female
Read this prayer dua when coming out from the toilet
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ اَذْھَبَ عَنِّی الْاَذٰی وَ عَافَانِیْ
Translation
All Praise is for Allah Who has removed from me that which harms and has given me comfort
Read this prayer when starting wudhu
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Translation
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
After complete wudhu recite the following
اَشْھَدُ اَنْ لَّآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِیْکَ لَہٗ وَاَشْھَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہٗ وَرَسُوْلُہٗ اَللَّھُمَّاجْعَلْنِی مِنَ التَّوَّابِیْنَ وَاجْعَلْنِی مِنَ الْمُتَطَھِّرِیْن
Translation
I testify that there is no god besides Allah alone, He has no partners and I testify that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and messenger. O Allah! Let me be one of those people who repent with inner repentance and remain in a state of purity and cleanliness
When entering the mosque recite the following
اَللَّھُم افْتَح لِیْ أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِکَ
Translation
O Allah! Open the doors of Your Mercy for me
While sitting in the mosque recite the following
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ ، وَالْحْمدُ لِلّٰہِ، وَلَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ ، وَ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation
Glory be to Allah All Praise is for Allah, there is no god besides Allah and Allah is the Greatest
When coming out from the mosque recite the following
اَللَّھُمَّ إِنِّی أَسْأَلُکَ مِنْ فَضْلِکَ
Translation
O Allah! I ask You for Your Grace
When the azaan ends, recite the durood and then the following
اَللّٰھُمَّ رَبَّ هٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ الْقَائِمَةِ اٰتِ مُحَمَّدَ نِ الْوَسِيْلَةَ وَالْفَضِيْلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُوْدَ نِ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَّهُ اِنَّکَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ
Translation
O Allah! The Lord of this perfect call and the salaat which is about to be performed, grant Muhammad ﷺ wasilah (the highest station in Paradise) and dignity and exalt him to the Maqaam Mahmood, which You have promised him
After completing the fardh salaat place the right hand on the head and recite
بِسْمِ اللہِ الَّذِیْ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ ھُوَالرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِیْمُ ، اَللّٰھُمَّ اَذْھِبْ عَنِّی الْھَمَّ وَالْحُزْنَ
Translation
In the name of Allah, the one there is no god besides Him, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. O Allah! Remove from me worries and grief
And recite استغفراللہ three times and then the following
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ، وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَام
Translation
O Allah! You are Peace and peace emanates from You Alone. You are blessed O Majestic and Benevolent One!
After offering witr salaatrecite the following thrice
سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ
Translation
Glory be to the Sovereign, the Holy.Say aloud the third time and stretch the daal of Quddus
After Fajr and Maghrib salaat
اَللّٰہُمَّ اَجِرْنِیْ مِنَ النَّار
Translation
O Allah! Protect me from the Hellfire
When going out from the house recite the following dua
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَکَّلْتُ عَلَی اللّٰهِ لَاحَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰہ
Translation
With Allah's name I go out. I place my complete trust on Him, I have neither the strength to do good nor the power to avoid evil unless I have the help of Allah
Read this prayer dua when entering the house
اَللّٰھُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُکَ خَیْرَ الْمَوْلَجِ وَخَیْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ، بِسْمِ اللہِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللہِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلٰی اللہِ رَبِّنَا تَوَکَّلْنَا
Translation
O Allah! I ask of You a good entrance and a good exit, with Allah's name we enter and with Allah's name we leave and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust
Read this prayer dua when going to the market
بِسْمِ اللہِ، اَللَّھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْأَلُکَ خَیْرَ ھٰذِہِ السُّوْقِ وَخَیْرَمَافِیْھَاوَاَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ ھَا وَشَرِّمَافِیْھَااَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوذُبِکَ اَنْ اُصِیْبَ فِیْھَایَمِیْنًا فَاجِرَةً اَوْصَفْقَةً خَاسِرَةً
Translation
In the name ofAllah, O Allah! I ask of You, the good of this market and the good of what is in it, and I seek Your refuge from its evil and the evil of what is in it.O Allah! I seek Your protection that I should take a false oath here or that I should strike a bad bargain
Read this prayer when starting to eat
بِسْمِ اللہِ وَ بَرَکَۃِ اللہِ
Translation
With the name of Allah and with His blessing
If one forgets to take Allah's name in the beginning one should recite the following during eating
بِسْمِ اللہِ اَوَّلَہٗ وَاٰخِرَہ
Translation
With the name ofAllah, in the beginning and in the end
After eating recite the following
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِینَ
Translation
All Praise is for Allah Who has given us food and drink and made us from among the Muslims
After drinking milk recite the following
اَللَّھُمَّ بِارِكْ لَنَا فِیهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
Translation
O Allah ! Bless it for us and give us more of it
When one has a meal at someone's place he should recite the following
َاَللَّھُمَّ اَطْعِمْ مَنْ اَطْعَمَنِیْ وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقَانِی
Translation
O Allah! Feed the one who has fed me and quench the thirst ofthe one who has quenched my thirst
Read this prayer when leaving the house of the host
اَللَّھُمَّ بَارِکْ لَھُمْ فِیْمَا رَزَقْتَھُمْ وَاغْفِرْ لَھُمْ وَارْحَمْھُمْ
Translation
O Allah! Send down your blessings on the sustenance you have given them and forgive them and have mercy on them
Read this prayer when breaking the fast
اَللَّھُمَّ لَکَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَی رِزْقِکَ اَفْطَرْتُ
Translation
O Allah! For You I fasted, in You I believe, in You I place my trust and with your rizq I break my fast
Read this prayer after breaking the fast
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوْقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللّٰهُ
Translation
Thirst has been quenched, the body feels refreshed and if Allah wills, reward has been attained
If one takes iftaar at someone's place one recites the following dua
أفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ المَلاَئِكَةُ
Translation
Fasting people have broken their fast with you and the pious have shared your food. May the angels send down blessings on you
When wearing clothes recite the following
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ کَسَانِیْ ھٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِیْہِ مِنْ غَیْرِحَوْلٍ مِّنِّیْ وَلَا قُوَّۃٍ
Translation
All praise is for Allah Who has made me wear these clothes and given them to me without any effort or ability of mine
While looking at one's face in the mirror recite the following
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ، اَللَّہُمَّ کَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِی فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِیْ
Translation
All praise is for Allah.O Allah! You have blessed me with a good appearance, so grant me good morals
Congratulate the groom saying
بَارَكَ اللّٰهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي الْخَيْرِ
Translation
May Allah bless you and Shower his blessing on you both and make you mutually compatible
Dua of Lailat-ul-Qadr
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّکَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّی
Translation
O Allah! You are the Most Forgiving One, You love forgiveness, so please forgive Me
While sighting the new moon recite the following
اَللَّھُمَّ أَھِلَّہُ عَلَیْنَا بِالْیُمْنِ وَالْاِیْمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالْاِسْلَامِ رَبِّی وَرَبُّکَ اللّٰهُ
Translation
O Allah! Let it shine upon us with blessings, Imaan, peace and lslam. My and your Lord is Allah
Make dua when seeing a Muslim laughing saying
أَضْحَكَ اللّٰهُ سِنَّكَ
Translation
Make Allah keep you laughing happily all your life
While visiting a sick Muslim console him saying
لَا بَأْسَ طَهُوْرٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللّٰهُ
Translation
Don't worry! This illness shall purify you if Allah wills
Dua while riding
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَلَنَا هٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِيْنَ وَإِنَّا إِلٰى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Translation
Glory is to Allah Who has subjugated it for us. We lack the ability to control it. Surely to our Lord we shall return
Read this prayer when reaching a destination (or railway station or bus-stop)
أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Translation
I seek the refuge with the perfect words of Allah from the evil of all things created by Him
Read this prayer when going to the graveyard
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُبُورِ يَغْفِرُ اللّٰهُ لَنَا وَلَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ سَلَفُنَا وَنَحْنُ بِالْأَثَرِ
Translation
O people of the graveyard! Peace be upon you, may Allah forgive us and you. You have gone before us and we shall join you
Dua Istikhara
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَ تَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِّيْ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ وَمَعَاشِيْ وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِيْ فَاقْدِرْهُ لِيْ وَيَسِّرْهُ لِيْ ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيْهِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِّيْ فِيْ دِينِيْ وَمَعَاشِيْ وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِيْ فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّيْ وَاصْرِفْنِيْ عَنْهُ وَاقْدِرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ
Translation
O Allah, with Your knowledge I seek the good, with Your power I seek ability and Your mighty favor for certainly You have the power that I don't have, You know and I do not Know and You Know the unseen. O Allah, in Your knowledge if this work is good for me in this Duniya and the Akhirah (hereafter), then let it be for me, grant me blessings in it and if it is bad for me then keep it far away from me and grant me any destiny that will make me happy.
Pray for ease in debt repayment
اَللّٰھُمَّ اکْفِنِیْ بِحَلَالِکَ عَنْ حَرَامِکَ وَاَغْنِنِیْ بِفَضْلِکَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاکَ
Translation
May Allah almighty give me enough, give me your Halal provision and save me from Haraam provision and do not make me needy of anyone except yourself by your grace.
Dua Salattul Hajaat
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّااللہُ الْحَلِيْمُ الْکَرِيْمُ، سُبْحَانَ اللہِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّیْ أَسْأَلُکَ مُوْجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِکَ وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِکَ وَالْغَنِيْمَةَ مِنْ کُلِّ بِرٍّ وَالسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ کُلِّ إِثْمٍ، لَا تَدَعْ لِیْ ذَنْبًا إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ وَلَا هَمًّا إِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ وَلَا حَاجَةً هِیَ لَکَ رِضًا إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا یَا أَرْحَمَ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ
Translation
There is no god but Allah the Clement and Wise. There is no god but Allah the High and Mighty. Glory be to Allah, Lord of Tremendous Throne. All praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I ask you (O Allah) everything that leads to your mercy, and your tremendous forgiveness, enrichment in all good, and freedom from all sin. Do not leave a sin of mine (O Allah), except that you forgive it, nor any concern except that you create for it an opening, nor any need in which there is your good pleasure except that you fulfil it, O Most Merciful!
Fire breaks out dua
اَللہُ اَکْبَرْ، اَللہُ اَکْبَرْ، اَللہُ اَکْبَرْ
Translation
Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest
Dua at the time of rain
اَللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبَاً نَافِعَاً
Translation
O Allah make it plentiful and beneficial
Dua at the time of emission of sperm (read in the heart)
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ لِلشَّيْطَانِ فِيْمَا رَزَقْتَنِيْ نَصِيبَاً
Translation
O Allah, let Satan not be part of the children You grant us
Dua to avoid accidents-Dua Abu Darda(Radi Ulla Anho)
أَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ أَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمِ مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ كَانَ وَ مَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللہَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ، وَ أَنَّ اللہَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا، أَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا، إِنَّ رَبِّيْ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ
Translation
O Allah ! You are my Rabb, there is no deity besides You. I put my trust in You and You are the Rabb of the noble Throne. Whatever Allah wishes, happens. And whatever He does not wish, will not happen. And there is no power or defense except Allah`s, the most High, the Greatest of all. I know that definitely Allah has power over everything and that Allah has encompassed everything in knowledge. O Allah, I ask You protection against the evils of my nafs, and against the evils of all living things, that You only have complete power over them. Definitely my Rabb is on the right path.
Dua at the time of lowering a dead body into a grave
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَعَلٰی مِلَّۃِ رَسُولِ اللَٰهِ
Translation
O Allah Azzawajal in the name of and according to the way of Messenger SAW (It is buried)
Dua Before Rising From A Gathering
سُبْحَانَکَ اللّٰھُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِکَ اَشْہَدُ اَنْ لَّا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اَسْتَغْفِرُکَ وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَیْکَ
Translation
O Allah, You are pure, I praise You and testify that there is none worthy of worship besides You. I seek forgiveness and pardon from You.
The prayer for thanking someone who does a favor
جَزَاکَ اللہُ خَیْرًا
Translation
May Allah almighty give you good recompense (for doing a favor).
The prayer at the time of receiving gift
بَارَکَ اللہُ فِیْ اَھْلِکَ وَ مَالِکَ
Translation
May Allah almighty bless your family and in your wealth.
The prayer at the time of feeling anger
أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
Translation
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shatan
The prayer after sneezing
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ
Translation
All praise onto Allah Almighty
Pray for the one who says Alhamdulillah when he sneezes
یَرْحَمُکَ اللہُ
Translation
May Allah almighty have mercy on you
Read this prayer while saying goodbye to someone
اَسْتَوْدِعُ اللہَ دِیْنَکَ وَ اَمَانَتَکَ وَ خَوَاتِیْمَ عَمَلِکَ
Translation
I hand over your religion and what you have given in trust and the outcome of deed to Allah.
The prayer for the time when you see the afflicted
اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ عَافَانِیْ مِمَّا ابْتَلَاکَ بِہِ وَفَضَّلَنِیْ عَلیٰ کَثِیرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفضِیْلاً
Translation
Thanks to Allah who granted me relief from this affliction, which you have been involved in, grant me greatness over lot of your creatures.
Praying for rain
اَللّٰهمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيْثًا مَرِيْئًا مُرِيْعًا نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ
Translation
O Allah! Irrigate us with a rain that is helpful, pleasant, green and lush and beneficial, not harmful and early rain, not late rain.
Dua of martyrdom
اَللّٰھُمَّ ارْزُقْنِیْ شَہَادَةً فِیْ سَبِیْلِکَ وَاجْعَلْ مَوْتِیْ فِیْ بَلَدِ رَسُوْلِکَ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ
Translation
O Allah, grant me martyrdom in Your way and cause me to die in the city of Your Messenger.
The prayer at the time of entering cemetery
أَعُوْذُ بِکَلِمَاتِ اللّٰہِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Translation
I seek refuge with all the words of Allah from the evil that He has created.
The prayer at the time of covering the grave with earth
مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ وَفِيْهَا نُعِيْدُكُمْ ، وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرٰى
Translation
It is with this that (Allah Ta’laa) created. And it is this that We will Make you return into and it is from this that we will raise you (once) again.
The prayer at the time of drinking water from the well of ZamZam
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً وَّ رِزْقاً وَّاسِعاً وَّشِفَاءً مِّنْ کُلِّ دَاءٍ
Translation
O Allah! I ask you for beneficial knowledge, increase in provision and cure from illness.
If there is danger from any nation, recite this prayer
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُوْرِهِمْ وَنَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُوْرِهِمْ
Translation
O Allah Almighty, we confront you against them (infidels and polytheists) and take refuge in You from their evil.
If you go to see a patient, recite this prayer
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبْ البَأْسَ، اِشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِيْ لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَماً
Translation
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Take away the pain. You are the Healer. There is no healing other than your healing, a healing that does not leave any kind of disease.
Dua when leaving for a journey
بِسْمِ اللہِ تَوَکَّلْتُ عَلَی اللہِ، اَللّٰھُمَّ بِکَ اَصُوْلُ وَبِکَ اَحُوْلُ وَبِکَ اَسِیْرُ، اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِی السَّفَرِ وَالْخَلِیْفَةُ فِی الْاَھْلِ
Translation
I start my journey in the name of Allah, I trust in Allah, O Allah! I go with your help and I come back with your help and I walk with your help, O Allah! You are the companion in the journey and the informant in the house bar.
Dua when making the intention of Hajj
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أُرِيْدُ الْحَجَّ، فَيَسِّرْهُ لِيْ، وَتَقَبَّلْهُ مِنِّیْ، وَأَعِنِّيْ عَلَيْهِ، وَبَارِکْ لِيْ فِيْهِ، نَوَيْتُ الْحَجَّ، وَأَحْرَمْتُ بِهِ اللہِ تَعَالٰی
Translation
O Allah! I intend to perform Hajj, so make it easy for me, and accept it from me, and help me in it, and bless me in it, I intended Hajj, and with it Ihram for Allah Almighty.
Talbiha (reciting Labbek)
لَبَّيْکَ، الَلّٰهُمَّ لَبَّيْکَ، لَبَّيْکَ لَا شَرِيْکَ لَکَ لَبَّيْکَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَکَ وَالْمُلْکَ، لَا شَرِيْکَ لَکَ
Translation
I am present, or I am present in Allah, you have no partner, I am present. Surely all praise and blessings are for you, and the kingdom is yours, you have no partner.
Prayer to enter from Bab-ul-Salam in masjid ul haram
اَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِکَ وَمَغْفِرَتِکَ، وَأَدْخِلْنِي فِيْهَا، بِسْمِ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلٰی رَسُوْلِ اللہِ صلی الله عليه وآله وسلم
Translation
O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy and forgiveness, and admit me into them, I begin with the name of Allah, and all praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Prayer from the Yemeni member to the Black Stone
رَبَّنَا اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِی الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. وَأَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ يَا عَزِيْزُ، يَا غَفَّارُ، يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
Translation
O my Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the torment of Hell, and admit us to Paradise with the righteous, O Most Honorable, O Most Forgiving, O Lord of all the worlds.
Read this dua in Madian Arafat
لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّااللہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَا شَرِیْکَ لَہٗ لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِیْرٌ
Translation
There is no deity except Allah, the One, the Irresistible. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise, and He has power over all things.
Dua of Ibrahim (alaihisalam) whenever you would like for Allah (swt) to accept whatever good you've just done
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ
Translation
Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
Dua of Ibrahim (alaihisalam) Asks for the success of the entire Muslim Ummah
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَیْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّیَّتِنَآ أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَیْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِیمُ
Translation
Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites [of worship] and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.
Dua for success in this world and the hereafter
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Asking Allah (swt) for protection, patience in whatever endeavor, and to be victorious
رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَیْنَا صَبْراً وَّثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى القَوْمِ الكٰفِرِیْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
Dua for tawbah (repentance)
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
Translation
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.
Dua asking Allah (swt) to make the path of righteousness easy upon the believers
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُۥ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِن قَبْلِنَا
Translation
Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us.
Dua which can sufficient for you in every matter
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ ۚ أَنْتَ مَوْلىٰنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكٰفِرِيْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
Dua to be steadfast on religion
رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ ھَدَیْتَنَا وَھَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَھَّابُ
Translation
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Dua of the believers to affirm their faith in the afterlife
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ
Translation
Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.
Dua for repentance and protection
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation
Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire
Dua of faith & worship, i.e. to register us among the witnesses to the truth
رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا بِمَآ أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشّٰھِدِیْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger so register us among the witnesses [to truth].
Dua for repentance, victory, and resiliency
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِىْ أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
Dua praising Allah (swt) and asking for His protection from Jahannam (fire)
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هٰذَا بٰطِلًا سُبْحٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation
Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Pray to save yourself from cruel things, because the person who is doing cruel have no helper.
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهۥ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِيْنَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ
Translation
Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire – You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
Dua of humility, submission and faith
رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِى لِلْإِيْمَانِ أَنْ اٰمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَـٰٔامَنَّا
Translation
Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller, calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Dua for repentance, washing away our misdeeds, and asking Alla (swt) to cause us to die guided on the right path
رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَیِّئٰاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الأبْرَارِ
Translation
Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die among the righteous.
Dua of humility, to be saved from being disgraced on the day of judgment
رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Translation
Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise.
dua for those who want to testify the truth and verbally affirm their belief in it
رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّٰهِدِينَ
Translation
Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.
Dua of iisa (alaihisalam) for provision
رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَاٰخِرِنَا وَاٰيَةً مِّنكَ ۖ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرّٰزِقِيْنَ
Translation
O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers.
Dua for repentance (tawbah) Prophet Adam (Alehissalam) recited this dua after make mistake in paradise
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِينَ
Translation
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
Dua to Allah that He does not count us among the wrongdoers
رَبَّنَا لاَ تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّٰلِمِیْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.
Dua of Prophet Suhaib (Alehissalam). Prophet Suhaib (Alehissalam) recited this dua after facing heavy opposition from the eminent people of the city
رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَیْنَنَا وَبَیْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَیْرُ الْفٰتِحِیْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision.
Dua of Prophet Musa (Alheissalam). Du'a for sabr (patience), perseverance, and a prayer requesting Allah to let us die righteously
رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِيْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You].
This is a Dua the companions of Musa (Alheissalam) recited asking for protection from evil and unjust people. It is a du’a for success and protection
رَبَّنَا لاَ تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّٰلِمِیْنَ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people. And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.
Dua showing complete trust and reliance on Allah (swt). This dua is a reminder that Allah is all knowing and all powerful
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِى وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفىٰ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مِنْ شَىْءٍ فِى الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ
Translation
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.
Dua of Prophet Ibrahim (Alheissalam), in this du'a, he asks Allah (swt) to make ourselves and the future generations good Muslims
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيْمَ الصَّلوٰةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِيْ ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ
Translation
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
Du'a of Prophet Ibrahim (Alheissalam) Recommended use: Dua asking Allah (swt) to forgive yourself and to forgive your parents
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْلِيْ وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِینَ یَوْمَ یَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Translation
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
Dua seeking Allah's (swt) approval, mercy, provision, and patience.
رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Translation
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.
Dua of both Harun (Alaihissalam) and Musa (Alaihissalam)
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَآ أَوْ أَن يَطْغَى
Translation
Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress.
Dua asking for Allah's mercy and calling upon by his rightful attribute of being Ar-Rahim meaning the most merciful.
رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَیْرُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ
Translation
Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.
Dua for asking Allah (swt) for our protection from Jahannam.
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا إِنَّهَا سَآءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَّمُقَامًا
Translation
Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence.
Asking Allah (swt) to grant us 'coolness of the eyes' among our wives and through our children and future generations.
رَبَّنَا ھَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّیّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْیُنٍ وَّاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ إِمَامًا
Translation
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us a leader [i.e., example] for the righteous.
The Qur'an mentions how this will be the type of du'a a believer would recite when they enter the Garden of Eden. In this du'a it refer to Allah as Al-Ghafoor and Ash-Shakur two of His rightful names and attribute.
رَبَّنَا لَغَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ
Translation
Our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative
This du'a asks Allah (swt) to be merciful towards all those who believe and have sought istighfar (repentance) from their creator.
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِینَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِیلَكَ وَقِھِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِیْمِ
Translation
Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.
Dua asking for protection on the day of judgment and asks to receive his mercy which would be the best of all gifts.
رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْھُمْ جَنّٰتِ عَدْنِ نِ الَّتِيْ وَعَدتَّھُمْ وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِھِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِھِمْ وَذُرِّیّٰتِھِمْ ط إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُ وَقِھِمُ السَّیِّئٰتِ وَمَن تَقِ السَّیِّئٰتِ یَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَہُ وَذٰلِكَ ھُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِیْمُ
Translation
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their forefathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day – You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment.
Dua for those who accepted Islam and Dua for not harbor resentment or hate towards one another.
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِيْنَ سَبَقُوْنَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوْبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا
Translation
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed.
Dua of praise using two of Allah’s rightful names and attributes for kindness and mercy
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ رَؤُوْفٌ رَّحِیمٌ
Translation
Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
Dua that affirms that we have relied on Him alone. Furthermore, it is also a prayer of remembrance that this life is only temporary
رَبَّنَا عَلَیْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَیْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَیْكَ الْمَصِیْرُ
Translation
Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination.
This is a dua Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihssalam) recited asking to make the believers victorious over the disbelievers
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوْا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُ
Translation
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Dua asks Allah (swt) to perfect or to complete our light on that day and to forgive us our sins
رَبَّنَآ أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُوْرَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ
Translation
Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.
