1 Surahs9 Versesركوع 486
61:1
سَبَّحَ
Glorifies
لِلَّهِ
Allah
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوٰتِ
the heavens
وَمَا
and whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ
the earth
وَهُوَ
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise
١
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allāh,1 and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
61:2
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
(you) who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
لِمَ
Why
تَقُولُونَ
(do) you say
مَا
what
لَا
not
تَفۡعَلُونَ
you do
٢
O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?
61:3
كَبُرَ
Great is
مَقۡتًا
hatred
عِندَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَن
that
تَقُولُواۡ
you say
مَا
what
لَا
not
تَفۡعَلُونَ
you do
٣
Greatly hateful in the sight of Allāh is that you say what you do not do.
61:4
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُقَـٰتِلُونَ
fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِهِۦ
His Way
صَفًّا
(in) a row
كَأَنَّهُم
as if they
بُنۡيَـٰنٌ
(were) a structure
مَّرۡصُوصٌ
joined firmly
٤
Indeed, Allāh loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.
61:5
وَإِذۡ
And when
قَالَ
said
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لِقَوۡمِهِۦ
to his people
يَـٰقَوۡمِ
O my people
لِمَ
Why
تُؤۡذُونَنِى
do you hurt me
وَقَد
while certainly
تَّعۡلَمُونَ
you know
أَنِّى
that I am
رَسُولُ
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
إِلَيۡكُمۡ‌ۖ
to you
فَلَمَّا
Then when
زَاغُوٓاۡ
they deviated
أَزَاغَ
(was caused to) deviate
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
قُلُوبَهُمۡ‌ۚ
their hearts
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
لَا
(does) not
يَهۡدِى
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
the people
ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِينَ
the defiantly disobedient
٥
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allāh to you?" And when they deviated, Allāh caused their hearts to deviate. And Allāh does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.
61:6
وَإِذۡ
And when
قَالَ
said
عِيسَى
Isa
ٱبۡنُ
son
مَرۡيَمَ
(of) Maryam
يَـٰبَنِىٓ
O Children
إِسۡرٰٓءِيلَ
(of) Israel
إِنِّى
Indeed, I am
رَسُولُ
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
إِلَيۡكُم
to you
مُّصَدِّقًا
confirming
لِّمَا
that which
بَيۡنَ
(was) between
يَدَىَّ
my hands
مِنَ
of
ٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةِ
the Taurat
وَمُبَشِّرَۢا
and bringing glad tidings
بِرَسُولٍ
(of) a Messenger
يَأۡتِى
to come
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِى
after me
ٱسۡمُهُۥٓ
whose name (will be)
أَحۡمَدُ‌ۖ
Ahmad
فَلَمَّا
But when
جَآءَهُم
he came to them
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَـٰتِ
with clear proofs
قَالُواۡ
they said
هَـٰذَا
This
سِحۡرٌ
(is) a magic
مُّبِينٌ
clear
٦
And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allāh to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Aḥmad."1 But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."2
61:7
وَمَنۡ
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
(is) more wrong
مِمَّنِ
than (one) who
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
invents
عَلَى
upon
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
the lie
وَهُوَ
while he
يُدۡعَىٰٓ
is invited
إِلَى
to
ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمِ‌ۚ
Islam
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
لَا
(does) not
يَهۡدِى
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
the people
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
[the] wrongdoers
٧
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allāh untruth while he is being invited to Islām. And Allāh does not guide the wrongdoing people.
61:8
يُرِيدُونَ
They intend
لِيُطۡفِــُٔواۡ
to put out
نُورَ
(the) light
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
بِأَفۡوٰهِهِمۡ
with their mouths
وَٱللَّهُ
but Allah
مُتِمُّ
will perfect
نُورِهِۦ
His Light
وَلَوۡ
although
كَرِهَ
dislike
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ
the disbelievers
٨
They want to extinguish the light of Allāh with their mouths, but Allāh will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.
61:9
هُوَ
He
ٱلَّذِىٓ
(is) the One Who
أَرۡسَلَ
sent
رَسُولَهُۥ
His Messenger
بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ
with guidance
وَدِينِ
and (the) religion
ٱلۡحَقِّ
(of) the truth
لِيُظۡهِرَهُۥ
to make it prevail
عَلَى
over
ٱلدِّينِ
the religion
كُلِّهِۦ
all of them
وَلَوۡ
although
كَرِهَ
dislike (it)
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ
the polytheists
٩
It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allāh dislike it.
