Ruku 420

1 Surahs10 Versesركوع 420
41:45
وَلَقَدۡ
And certainly
ءَاتَيۡنَا
We gave
مُوسَى
Musa
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ
the Book
فَٱخۡتُلِفَ
but disputes arose
فِيهِ‌ۗ
therein
وَلَوۡلَا
And had it not been
كَلِمَةٌ
(for) a word
سَبَقَتۡ
(that) preceded
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Lord
لَقُضِىَ
surely, would have been settled
بَيۡنَهُمۡ‌ۚ
between them
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
But indeed, they
لَفِى
surely (are) in
شَكٍّ
doubt
مِّنۡهُ
about it
مُرِيبٍ
disquieting
٤٥
And We had already given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement.1 And if not for a word [i.e., decree]2 that preceded from your Lord, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed they are, concerning it [i.e., the Qur’ān], in disquieting doubt.
41:46
مَّنۡ
Whoever
عَمِلَ
does
صَـٰلِحًا
righteous deeds
فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦ‌ۖ
then it is for his soul
وَمَنۡ
and whoever
أَسَآءَ
does evil
فَعَلَيۡهَا‌ۗ
then it is against it
وَمَا
And not
رَبُّكَ
(is) your Lord
بِظَلَّـٰمٍ
unjust
لِّلۡعَبِيدِ
to His slaves
٤٦
Whoever does righteousness - it is for his [own] soul; and whoever does evil [does so] against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants.
41:47
۞إِلَيۡهِ
To Him
يُرَدُّ
is referred
عِلۡمُ
(the) knowledge
ٱلسَّاعَةِ‌ۚ
(of) the Hour
وَمَا
And not
تَخۡرُجُ
comes out
مِن
any
ثَمَرٰتٍ
fruits
مِّنۡ
from
أَكۡمَامِهَا
their coverings
وَمَا
and not
تَحۡمِلُ
bears
مِنۡ
any
أُنثَىٰ
female
وَلَا
and not
تَضَعُ
gives birth
إِلَّا
except
بِعِلۡمِهِۦ‌ۚ
with His knowledge
وَيَوۡمَ
And (the) Day
يُنَادِيهِمۡ
He will call them
أَيۡنَ
Where (are)
شُرَكَآءِى
My partners
قَالُوٓاۡ
They will say
ءَاذَنَّـٰكَ
We announce (to) You
مَا
not
مِنَّا
among us
مِن
any
شَهِيدٍ
witness
٤٧
To Him [alone] is attributed knowledge of the Hour. And fruits emerge not from their coverings nor does a female conceive or give birth except with His knowledge. And the Day He will call to them, "Where are My 'partners'?" they will say, "We announce to You that there is [no longer] among us any witness [to that]."
41:48
وَضَلَّ
And lost
عَنۡهُم
from them
مَّا
what
كَانُواۡ
they were
يَدۡعُونَ
invoking
مِن
before
قَبۡلُ‌ۖ
before
وَظَنُّواۡ
and they (will) be certain
مَا
(that) not
لَهُم
for them
مِّن
any
مَّحِيصٍ
place of escape
٤٨
And lost from them will be those they were invoking before, and they will be certain that they have no place of escape.
41:49
لَّا
(Does) not
يَسۡــَٔمُ
get tired
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ
man
مِن
of
دُعَآءِ
praying
ٱلۡخَيۡرِ
(for) the good
وَإِن
but if
مَّسَّهُ
touches him
ٱلشَّرُّ
the evil
فَيَــُٔوسٌ
then he gives up hope
قَنُوطٌ
(and) despairs
٤٩
Man is not weary of supplication for good [things], but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing.
41:50
وَلَئِنۡ
And verily, if
أَذَقۡنَـٰهُ
We let him taste
رَحۡمَةً
mercy
مِّنَّا
from Us
مِنۢ
after
بَعۡدِ
after
ضَرَّآءَ
an adversity
مَسَّتۡهُ
(has) touched him
لَيَقُولَنَّ
he will surely say
هَـٰذَا
This (is)
لِى
(due) to me
وَمَآ
and not
أَظُنُّ
I think
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
the Hour
قَآئِمَةً
(will be) established
وَلَئِن
and if
رُّجِعۡتُ
I am returned
إِلَىٰ
to
رَبِّىٓ
my Lord
إِنَّ
indeed
لِى
for me
عِندَهُۥ
with Him
لَلۡحُسۡنَىٰ‌ۚ
(will be) the best
فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ
But We will surely inform
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieved
بِمَا
about what
عَمِلُواۡ
they did
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم
and We will surely make them taste
مِّنۡ
of
عَذَابٍ
a punishment
غَلِيظٍ
severe
٥٠
And if We let him taste mercy from Us after an adversity which has touched him, he will surely say, "This is [due] to me,1 and I do not think the Hour will occur; and [even] if I should be returned to my Lord, indeed, for me there will be with Him the best." But We will surely inform those who disbelieved about what they did, and We will surely make them taste a massive punishment.
41:51
وَإِذَآ
And when
أَنۡعَمۡنَا
We bestow favor
عَلَى
upon
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنِ
man
أَعۡرَضَ
he turns away
وَنَـَٔـا
and distances himself
بِجَانِبِهِۦ
and distances himself
وَإِذَا
but when
مَسَّهُ
touches him
ٱلشَّرُّ
the evil
فَذُو
then (he is) full
دُعَآءٍ
(of) supplication
عَرِيضٍ
lengthy
٥١
And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.
41:52
قُلۡ
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
You see
إِن
if
كَانَ
it is
مِنۡ
from
عِندِ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ثُمَّ
then
كَفَرۡتُم
you disbelieve
بِهِۦ
in it
مَنۡ
who
أَضَلُّ
(is) more astray
مِمَّنۡ
than (one) who
هُوَ
he
فِى
(is) in
شِقَاقِۭ
opposition
بَعِيدٍ
far
٥٢
Say, "Have you considered: if it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is from Allāh and you disbelieved in it, who would be more astray than one who is in extreme dissension?"
41:53
سَنُرِيهِمۡ
Soon We will show them
ءَايَـٰتِنَا
Our Signs
فِى
in
ٱلۡأَفَاقِ
the horizons
وَفِىٓ
and in
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
themselves
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَتَبَيَّنَ
becomes clear
لَهُمۡ
to them
أَنَّهُ
that it
ٱلۡحَقُّ‌ۗ
(is) the truth
أَوَلَمۡ
Is (it) not
يَكۡفِ
sufficient
بِرَبِّكَ
concerning your Lord
أَنَّهُۥ
that He
عَلَىٰ
(is) over
كُلِّ
all
شَىۡءٍ
things
شَهِيدٌ
a Witness
٥٣
We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.1 But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?2
41:54
أَلَآ
Unquestionably
إِنَّهُمۡ
they
فِى
(are) in
مِرۡيَةٍ
doubt
مِّن
about
لِّقَآءِ
(the) meeting
رَبِّهِمۡ‌ۗ
(with) their Lord
أَلَآ
Unquestionably
إِنَّهُۥ
indeed, He
بِكُلِّ
(is) of all
شَىۡءٍ
things
مُّحِيطُۢ
encompassing
٥٤
Unquestionably, they are in doubt about the meeting with their Lord. Unquestionably He is, of all things, encompassing.
