1 Surahs8 Versesركوع 39
2:274
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يُنفِقُونَ
spend
أَمۡوٰلَهُم
their wealth
بِٱلَّيۡلِ
by night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
and day
سِرًّا
secretly
وَعَلَانِيَةً
and openly
فَلَهُمۡ
then for them
أَجۡرُهُمۡ
(is) their reward
عِندَ
with
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
وَلَا
and no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
on them
وَلَا
and not
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
will grieve
٢٧٤
Those who spend their wealth [in Allāh's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
2:275
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَأۡكُلُونَ
consume
ٱلرِّبَوٰاۡ
[the] usury
لَا
not
يَقُومُونَ
they can stand
إِلَّا
except
كَمَا
like
يَقُومُ
stands
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
يَتَخَبَّطُهُ
confounds him
ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ
the Shaitaan
مِنَ
with
ٱلۡمَسِّ‌ۚ
(his) touch
ذٰلِكَ
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
(is) because they
قَالُوٓاۡ
say
إِنَّمَا
Only
ٱلۡبَيۡعُ
the trade
مِثۡلُ
(is) like
ٱلرِّبَوٰاۡ‌ۗ
[the] usury
وَأَحَلَّ
While has permitted
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلۡبَيۡعَ
[the] trade
وَحَرَّمَ
but (has) forbidden
ٱلرِّبَوٰاۡ‌ۚ
[the] usury
فَمَن
Then whoever
جَآءَهُۥ
comes to him
مَوۡعِظَةٌ
(the) admonition
مِّن
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
His Lord
فَٱنتَهَىٰ
and he refrained
فَلَهُۥ
then for him
مَا
what
سَلَفَ
(has) passed
وَأَمۡرُهُۥٓ
and his case
إِلَى
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ‌ۖ
Allah
وَمَنۡ
and whoever
عَادَ
repeated
فَأُوۡلَـٰٓئِكَ
then those
أَصۡحَـٰبُ
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ‌ۖ
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
they
فِيهَا
in it
خَـٰلِدُونَ
will abide forever
٢٧٥
Those who consume interest1 cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allāh has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allāh. But whoever returns [to dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.
2:276
يَمۡحَقُ
Destroys
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلرِّبَوٰاۡ
the usury
وَيُرۡبِى
and (gives) increase
ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ‌ۗ
(for) the charities
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
لَا
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
love
كُلَّ
every
كَفَّارٍ
ungrateful
أَثِيمٍ
sinner
٢٧٦
Allāh destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allāh does not like every sinning disbeliever.
2:277
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe[d]
وَعَمِلُواۡ
and did
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
good deeds
وَأَقَامُواۡ
and established
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the prayer
وَءَاتَوُاۡ
and gave
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
the zakah
لَهُمۡ
for them
أَجۡرُهُمۡ
their reward
عِندَ
(is) with
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
وَلَا
and no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
on them
وَلَا
and not
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
will grieve
٢٧٧
Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakāh will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
2:278
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe[d]
ٱتَّقُواۡ
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَذَرُواۡ
and give up
مَا
what
بَقِىَ
remained
مِنَ
of
ٱلرِّبَوٰٓاۡ
[the] usury
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
٢٧٨
O you who have believed, fear Allāh and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers.
2:279
فَإِن
And if
لَّمۡ
not
تَفۡعَلُواۡ
you do
فَأۡذَنُواۡ
then be informed
بِحَرۡبٍ
of a war
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ‌ۖ
and His Messenger
وَإِن
And if
تُبۡتُمۡ
you repent
فَلَكُمۡ
then for you
رُءُوسُ
(is)
أَمۡوٰلِكُمۡ
your capital
لَا
(do) not
تَظۡلِمُونَ
wrong
وَلَا
and not
تُظۡلَمُونَ
you will be wronged
٢٧٩
And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allāh and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal - [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged.
2:280
وَإِن
And if
كَانَ
is
ذُو
the (debtor)
عُسۡرَةٍ
in difficulty
فَنَظِرَةٌ
then postponement
إِلَىٰ
until
مَيۡسَرَةٍ‌ۚ
ease
وَأَن
And if
تَصَدَّقُواۡ
you remit as charity
خَيۡرٌ
(it is) better
لَّكُمۡ‌ۖ
for you
إِن
If
كُنتُمۡ
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
know
٢٨٠
And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew.
2:281
وَٱتَّقُواۡ
And fear
يَوۡمًا
a Day
تُرۡجَعُونَ
you will be brought back
فِيهِ
[in it]
إِلَى
to
ٱللَّهِ‌ۖ
Allah
ثُمَّ
Then
تُوَفَّىٰ
(will be) repaid in full
كُلُّ
every
نَفۡسٍ
soul
مَّا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
وَهُمۡ
and they
لَا
not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
will be wronged
٢٨١
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allāh. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged [i.e., treated unjustly].
