1 Surahs17 Versesركوع 386
36:51
وَنُفِخَ
And will be blown
فِى
[in]
the trumpet
فَإِذَا
and behold
هُم
They
from
the graves
إِلَىٰ
to
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
يَنس ِلُو نَ
٥١[they] will hasten
And the Horn will be blown;1 and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.
36:52
قَالُواۡ
They [will] say
يَـٰ وَيۡلَنَا
O woe to us
مَنۢ
Who
has raised us
مِن
from
our sleeping place
هَـٰ ذَا
This (is)
مَا
What
وَعَدَ
(had) promised
the Most Gracious
وَصَدَقَ
and told (the) truth
the Messengers
They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth."
36:53
إِن
Not
it will be
إِلَّا
but
صَيۡحَةً
a shout
single
so behold
هُمۡ
They
جَمِيعٌ
all
before Us
مُحۡضَرُو نَ
٥٣(will be) brought
It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.
36:54
فَٱ لۡيَوۡمَ
So this Day
لَا
not
تُظۡلَمُ
will be wronged
نَفۡسٌ
a soul
(in) anything
and not
تُجۡ زَوۡنَ
you will be recompensed
إِلَّا
except
مَا
(for) what
كُنت ُمۡ
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُو نَ
٥٤do
So today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
36:55
إِنّ َ
Indeed
أَصۡحَـٰ بَ
(the) companions
(of) Paradise
this Day
فِى
[in]
شُغُلٍ
will be occupied
(in) amusement
Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation -
36:56
هُمۡ
They
وَأَزۡوٰ جُهُمۡ
and their spouses
فِى
in
ظِلَـٰ لٍ
shades
عَلَى
on
[the] couches
مُتَّكِــُٔو نَ
٥٦reclining
They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.
36:57
لَهُمۡ
For them
فِيهَا
therein
فَـٰ كِهَةٌ
(are) fruits
and for them
(is) whatever
يَدَّعُو نَ
٥٧they call for
For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]
36:58
سَلَـٰ مٌ
Peace
A word
from
a Lord
Most Merciful
[And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord.
36:59
وَٱ مۡتَـٰ زُواۡ
But stand apart
today
أَيُّهَا
O criminals
O criminals
[Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals.1
36:60
۞أَلَمۡ
Did not
أَعۡهَدۡ
I enjoin
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
upon you
يَـٰ بَنِىٓ
O Children of Adam
ءَادَمَ
O Children of Adam
أَن
That
(do) not
تَعۡبُدُواۡ
worship
the Shaitaan
إِنّ َهُۥ
indeed, he
لَكُمۡ
(is) for you
عَدُوٌّ
an enemy
clear
Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -
36:61
وَأَنِ
And that
you worship Me
هَـٰ ذَا
This
صِرٰ طٌ
(is) a Path
Straight
And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.
36:62
وَلَقَدۡ
And indeed
أَضَلَّ
he led astray
مِنك ُمۡ
from you
جِبِلاًّ
a multitude
great
أَفَلَمۡ
Then did not
تَكُونُواۡ
you
تَعۡقِلُو نَ
٦٢use reason
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
36:63
هَـٰ ذِهِۦ
This (is)
جَهَنّ َمُ
(the) Hell
which
كُنت ُمۡ
you were
تُوعَدُو نَ
٦٣promised
This is the Hellfire which you were promised.
36:64
ٱصۡلَوۡهَا
Burn therein
today
بِمَا
because
كُنت ُمۡ
you used to
تَكۡفُرُو نَ
٦٤disbelieve
[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."1
36:65
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
This Day
نَخۡتِمُ
We will seal
عَلَىٰٓ
[on]
أَفۡوٰ هِهِمۡ
their mouths
وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ
and will speak to Us
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
their hands
وَتَشۡهَدُ
and will bear witness
أَرۡجُلُهُم
their feet
about what
كَانُواۡ
they used to
يَكۡسِبُو نَ
٦٥earn
That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
36:66
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَشَا ٓءُ
We willed
لَطَمَسۡنَا
We (would have) surely obliterated
عَلَىٰٓ
[over]
أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ
their eyes
فَٱ سۡتَبَقُواۡ
then they (would) race
(to find) the path
فَأَنّ َىٰ
then how
يُبۡ صِرُو نَ
٦٦(could) they see
And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?1
36:67
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَشَا ٓءُ
We willed
لَمَسَخۡنَـٰ هُمۡ
surely, We (would have) transformed them
عَلَىٰ
in
مَكَانَتِهِمۡ
their places
فَمَا
then not
they would have been able
مُضِيًّا
to proceed
and not
يَرۡجِعُو نَ
٦٧return
And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.1
