Nay

I swear

by (the) Day

(of) the Resurrection

And nay

I swear

by the soul

self-accusing

Does think

[the] man

that not

We will assemble

his bones

Nay

(We are) Able

on

that

We can restore

his fingertips

Nay

Desires

[the] man

to give (the) lie

(to) what is before him

He asks

When

(is the) Day

(of) the Resurrection

So when

is dazzled

the vision

And becomes dark

the moon

And are joined

the sun

and the moon

Will say

[the] man

that Day

Where

(is) the escape

By no means

(There is) no

refuge

To

your Lord

that Day

(is) the place of rest

Will be informed

[the] man

that Day

of what

he sent forth

and kept back

Nay

[The] man

against

himself

(will be) a witness

Even if

he presents

his excuses

Not

move

with it

your tongue

to hasten

with it

Indeed

upon Us

(is) its collection

and its recitation

And when

We have recited it

then follow

its recitation

Then

indeed

upon Us

(is) its explanation

No

But

you love

the immediate

And leave

the Hereafter

Faces

that Day

(will be) radiant

Towards

their Lord

looking

And faces

that Day

(will be) distorted

Thinking

that

will be done

to them

backbreaking

No

When

it reaches

the collar bones

And it is said

Who

(will) cure

And he is certain

that it

(is) the parting

And is wound

the leg

about the leg

To

your Lord

that Day

(will be) the driving

And not

he accepted (the) truth

and not

he prayed

But

he denied

and turned away

Then

he went

to

his family

swaggering

Woe

to you

and woe

Then

woe

to you

and woe

Does think

man

that

he will be left

neglected

Was not

he

a semen-drop

of

semen

emitted

Then

he was

a clinging substance

then He created

and proportioned

Then made

of him

two kinds

(the) male

and the female

Is not

[that]

(He) Able

[over]

to

give life

(to) the dead

Has

(there) come

upon

man

a period

of

time

not

he was

a thing

mentioned

Indeed, We

[We] created

man

from

a semen-drop

a mixture

(that) We test him

so We made (for) him

hearing

and sight

Indeed, We

guided him

(to) the way

whether

(he) be grateful

and whether

(he) be ungrateful

Indeed, We

[We] have prepared

for the disbelievers

chains

and shackles

and a Blazing Fire

Indeed

the righteous

will drink

from

a cup

is

its mixture

(of) Kafur

A spring

will drink

from it

(the) slaves

(of) Allah

causing it to gush forth

abundantly

They fulfill

the vows

and fear

a Day

(which) is

its evil

widespread

And they feed

the food

in spite of

love (for) it

(to the) needy

and (the) orphan

and (the) captive

Only

we feed you

for (the) Countenance

(of) Allah

Not

we desire

from you

any reward

and not

thanks

Indeed, we

fear

from

our Lord

a Day

harsh

and distressful

But will protect them

Allah

(from the) evil

(of) that

Day

and will cause them to meet

radiance

and happiness

And will reward them

because

they were patient

(with) a Garden

and silk

Reclining

therein

on

couches

Not

they will see

therein

sun

and not

freezing cold

And near

above them

(are) its shades

and will hang low

its cluster of fruits

dangling low

And will be circulated

among them

vessels

of

silver

and cups

(that) are

(of) crystal

Crystal-clear

of

silver

They will determine its

measure

And they will be given to drink

therein

a cup

is

its mixture

(of) Zanjabil

A spring

therein

named
