Al-Falaq
The Daybreak5 Verses2 Hadithsmakkah
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

113:1
قُلۡ
Say
أَعُوذُ
I seek refuge
بِرَبِّ
in (the) Lord
(of) the dawn
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
113:2
مِن
From
(the) evil
مَا
(of) what
خَلَق َ
٢He created
From the evil of that which He created
113:3
وَمِن
And from
(the) evil
غَاسِقٍ
(of) darkness
إِذَا
when
وَقَب َ
٣it spreads
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
113:4
وَمِن
And from
(the) evil
(of) the blowers
فِى
in
the knots
And from the evil of the blowers in knots1
113:5
وَمِن
And from
(the) evil
حَاسِدٍ
(of) an envier
إِذَا
when
حَسَد َ
٥he envies
And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
