Hizb 6

1 Surahs78 Versesالحزب 6
3:15
۞قُلۡ
Say
أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم
Shall I inform you
بِخَيۡرٍ
of better
مِّن
than
ذٰلِكُمۡ‌ۚ
that
لِلَّذِينَ
For those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاۡ
fear[ed]
عِندَ
with
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
جَنَّـٰتٌ
(are) Gardens
تَجۡرِى
flows
مِن
from
تَحۡتِهَا
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ
[the] rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ
abiding forever
فِيهَا
in it
وَأَزۡوٰجٌ
and spouses
مُّطَهَّرَةٌ
pure
وَرِضۡوٰنٌ
and approval
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ‌ۗ
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
(is) All-Seer
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
of (His) slaves
١٥
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allāh will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allāh. And Allāh is Seeing [i.e., aware] of [His] servants -
3:16
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَقُولُونَ
say
رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
إِنَّنَآ
Indeed, we
ءَامَنَّا
(have) believed
فَٱغۡفِرۡ
so forgive
لَنَا
for us
ذُنُوبَنَا
our sins
وَقِنَا
and save us
عَذَابَ
(from) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
(of) the Fire
١٦
Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,"
3:17
ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
The patient
وَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
and the truthful
وَٱلۡقَـٰنِتِينَ
and the obedient
وَٱلۡمُنفِقِينَ
and those who spend
وَٱلۡمُسۡتَغۡفِرِينَ
and those who seek forgiveness
بِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ
[in the] before dawn
١٧
The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allāh], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
3:18
شَهِدَ
Bears witness
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَنَّهُۥ
that [He]
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
and (so do) the Angels
وَأُوۡلُواۡ
and owners
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
(of) [the] knowledge
قَآئِمَۢا
standing
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ‌ۚ
in justice
لَآ
(There is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise
١٨
Allāh witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
3:19
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلدِّينَ
the religion
عِندَ
near
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمُ‌ۗ
(is) Islam
وَمَا
And not
ٱخۡتَلَفَ
differed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُواۡ
were given
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ
the Book
إِلَّا
except
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
[what]
جَآءَهُمُ
came to them
ٱلۡعِلۡمُ
[the] knowledge
بَغۡيَۢا
out of envy
بَيۡنَهُمۡ‌ۗ
among them
وَمَن
And whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
disbelieves
بِـَٔـايَـٰتِ
in (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
سَرِيعُ
(is) swift
ٱلۡحِسَابِ
(in taking) account
١٩
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allāh is Islām. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allāh, then indeed, Allāh is swift in [taking] account.
3:20
فَإِنۡ
Then if
حَآجُّوكَ
they argue with you
فَقُلۡ
then say
أَسۡلَمۡتُ
I have submitted
وَجۡهِىَ
myself
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَمَنِ
and (those) who
ٱتَّبَعَنِ‌ۗ
follow me
وَقُل
And say
لِّلَّذِينَ
to those who
أُوتُواۡ
were given
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ
the Book
وَٱلۡأُمِّيِّــۧنَ
and the unlettered people
ءَأَسۡلَمۡتُمۡ‌ۚ
Have you submitted yourselves
فَإِنۡ
Then if
أَسۡلَمُواۡ
they submit
فَقَدِ
then surely
ٱهۡتَدَواۡ‌ۖ
they are guided
وَّإِن
But if
تَوَلَّوۡاۡ
they turn back
فَإِنَّمَا
then only
عَلَيۡكَ
on you
ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ‌ۗ
(is) to [the] convey
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
(is) All-Seer
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
of [His] slaves
٢٠
So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allāh [in Islām], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned,1 "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islām], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away - then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allāh is Seeing of [His] servants.
3:21
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَكۡفُرُونَ
disbelieve
بِـَٔـايَـٰتِ
in (the) Signs (of)
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَيَقۡتُلُونَ
and they kill
ٱلنَّبِيِّــۧنَ
the Prophets
بِغَيۡرِ
without
حَقٍّ
right
وَيَقۡتُلُونَ
and they kill
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَأۡمُرُونَ
order
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
[with] justice
مِنَ
among
ٱلنَّاسِ
the people
فَبَشِّرۡهُم
then give them tidings
بِعَذَابٍ
of a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
painful
٢١
Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allāh and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people - give them tidings of a painful punishment.
3:22
أُوۡلَـٰٓئِكَ
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones who
حَبِطَتۡ
became worthless
أَعۡمَـٰلُهُمۡ
their deeds
فِى
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
the world
وَٱلۡأَخِرَةِ
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمَا
And not
لَهُم
(will be) for them
مِّن
any
نَّـٰصِرِينَ
helpers
٢٢
They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers.
3:23
أَلَمۡ
Have not
تَرَ
you seen
إِلَى
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُواۡ
were given
نَصِيبًا
a portion
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ
the Scripture
يُدۡعَوۡنَ
They are invited
إِلَىٰ
to
كِتَـٰبِ
(the) Book
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
لِيَحۡكُمَ
that (it should) arbitrate
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
between them
ثُمَّ
then
يَتَوَلَّىٰ
turns away
فَرِيقٌ
a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
of them
وَهُم
and they (are)
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
those who are averse
٢٣
Do you not consider, [O Muḥammad], those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They are invited to the Scripture of Allāh that it should arbitrate between them;1 then a party of them turns away, and they are refusing.
3:24
ذٰلِكَ
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
(is) because they
قَالُواۡ
say
لَن
Never
تَمَسَّنَا
will touch us
ٱلنَّارُ
the Fire
إِلَّآ
except
أَيَّامًا
(for) days
مَّعۡدُودٰتٍ‌ۖ
numbered
وَغَرَّهُمۡ
And deceived them
فِى
in
دِينِهِم
their religion
مَّا
what
كَانُواۡ
they were
يَفۡتَرُونَ
inventing
٢٤
That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.
3:25
فَكَيۡفَ
Then how (will it be)
إِذَا
when
جَمَعۡنَـٰهُمۡ
We will gather them
لِيَوۡمٍ
on a Day
لَّا
no
رَيۡبَ
doubt
فِيهِ
in it
وَوُفِّيَتۡ
And will be paid in full
كُلُّ
every
نَفۡسٍ
soul
مَّا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
وَهُمۡ
and they
لَا
(will) not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
be wronged
٢٥
So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
3:26
قُلِ
Say
ٱللَّهُمَّ
O Allah
مَـٰلِكَ
Owner
ٱلۡمُلۡكِ
(of) the Dominion
تُؤۡتِى
You give
ٱلۡمُلۡكَ
the dominion
مَن
(to) whom
تَشَآءُ
You will
وَتَنزِعُ
and You take away
ٱلۡمُلۡكَ
the dominion
مِمَّن
from whom
تَشَآءُ
You will
وَتُعِزُّ
and You honor
مَن
whom
تَشَآءُ
You will
وَتُذِلُّ
and You humiliate
مَن
whom
تَشَآءُ‌ۖ
You will
بِيَدِكَ
In Your hand
ٱلۡخَيۡرُ‌ۖ
(is all) the good
إِنَّكَ
Indeed, You
عَلَىٰ
(are) on
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful
٢٦
Say, "O Allāh, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand1 is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.
3:27
تُولِجُ
You cause to enter
ٱلَّيۡلَ
the night
فِى
in
ٱلنَّهَارِ
the day
وَتُولِجُ
and You cause to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
the day
فِى
in
ٱلَّيۡلِ‌ۖ
the night
وَتُخۡرِجُ
and You bring forth
ٱلۡحَىَّ
the living
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡمَيِّتِ
the dead
وَتُخۡرِجُ
and You bring forth
ٱلۡمَيِّتَ
the dead
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡحَىِّ‌ۖ
the living
وَتَرۡزُقُ
and You give provision
مَن
(to) whom
تَشَآءُ
You will
بِغَيۡرِ
without
حِسَابٍ
measure
٢٧
You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account [i.e., limit or measure]."
3:28
لَّا
(Let) not
يَتَّخِذِ
take
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
the believers
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ
the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
(as) allies
مِن
from
دُونِ
instead of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ‌ۖ
the believers
وَمَن
And whoever
يَفۡعَلۡ
does
ذٰلِكَ
that
فَلَيۡسَ
then not he (has)
مِنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
فِى
in
شَىۡءٍ
anything
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
تَتَّقُواۡ
you fear
مِنۡهُمۡ
from them
تُقَـٰةً‌ۗ
(as) a precaution
وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ
And warns you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
نَفۡسَهُۥ‌ۗ
(of) Himself
وَإِلَى
and to
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
(is) the final return
٢٨
Let not believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e., supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing [i.e., no association] with Allāh, except when taking precaution against them in prudence.1 And Allāh warns you of Himself, and to Allāh is the [final] destination.
3:29
قُلۡ
Say
إِن
Whether

ٱللَّهُ‌ۗ

ٱلسَّمَـٰوٰتِ

the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah

All-Powerful
٢٩
Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allāh knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allāh is over all things competent.
3:30
يَوۡمَ
(On the) day
تَجِدُ
will find
كُلُّ
every
نَفۡسٍ
soul
مَّا
what
عَمِلَتۡ
it did

عَمِلَتۡ
it did
مِن

evil
تَوَدُّ
it will wish
لَوۡ

and between it (evil)
أَمَدَۢا

بَعِيدًا‌ۗ
great
وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ
And warns you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
نَفۡسَهُۥ‌ۗ
(against) Himself
وَٱللَّهُ
and Allah
رَءُوفُۢ
(is) Most Kind
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
to (His) [the] slaves
٣٠
The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allāh warns you of Himself, and Allāh is Kind to [His] servants."
3:31
قُلۡ
Say
إِن
If
كُنتُمۡ
you
تُحِبُّونَ
love
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
فَٱتَّبِعُونِى
then follow me
يُحۡبِبۡكُمُ
will love you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَيَغۡفِرۡ
and He will forgive
لَكُمۡ
for you
ذُنُوبَكُمۡ‌ۗ
your sins
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
غَفُورٌ
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
Most Merciful
٣١
Say, [O Muḥammad], "If you should love Allāh, then follow me, [so] Allāh will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful."
3:32
قُلۡ
Say
أَطِيعُواۡ
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولَ‌ۖ
and the Messenger
فَإِن
Then if
تَوَلَّوۡاۡ
they turn away
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
love
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ
the disbelievers
٣٢
Say, "Obey Allāh and the Messenger. But if you turn away - then indeed, Allāh does not like the disbelievers."
3:33
۞إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ٱصۡطَفَىٰٓ
chose
ءَادَمَ
Adam
وَنُوحًا
and Nuh
وَءَالَ
and (the) family
إِبۡرٰهِيمَ
(of) Ibrahim
وَءَالَ
and (the) family
عِمۡرٰنَ
(of) Imran
عَلَى
over
ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ
the worlds
٣٣
Indeed, Allāh chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of ʿImrān over the worlds -
3:34
ذُرِّيَّةَۢ
Descendents
بَعۡضُهَا
some of them
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡضٍ‌ۗ
others
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
(is) All-Hearing
عَلِيمٌ
All-Knowing
٣٤
Descendants, some of them from others. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.
3:35
إِذۡ
When
قَالَتِ
[she] said
ٱمۡرَأَتُ
(the) wife
عِمۡرٰنَ
(of) Imran
رَبِّ
My Lord
إِنِّى
Indeed, I
نَذَرۡتُ
[I] vowed
لَكَ
to You
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
بَطۡنِى
my womb
مُحَرَّرًا
dedicated
فَتَقَبَّلۡ
so accept
مِنِّىٓ‌ۖ
from me
إِنَّكَ
Indeed, You
أَنتَ
You
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
(are) the All-Hearing
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
the All-Knowing
٣٥
[Mention, O Muḥammad], when the wife of ʿImrān said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
3:36
فَلَمَّا
Then when
وَضَعَتۡهَا
she delivered her
قَالَتۡ
she said
رَبِّ
My Lord
إِنِّى
indeed I
وَضَعۡتُهَآ
[I] (have) delivered [her]
أُنثَىٰ
a female
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
knows better
بِمَا
[of] what
وَضَعَتۡ
she delivered
وَلَيۡسَ
and is not
ٱلذَّكَرُ
the male
كَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ‌ۖ
like the female
وَإِنِّى
And that I
سَمَّيۡتُهَا
[I] (have) named her
مَرۡيَمَ
Maryam
وَإِنِّىٓ
and that I
أُعِيذُهَا
[I] seek refuge for her
بِكَ
in You
وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا
and her offspring
مِنَ
from
ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنِ
the Shaitaan
ٱلرَّجِيمِ
the rejected
٣٦
But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allāh was most knowing of what she delivered, and the male is not like the female. "And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allāh]."
3:37
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا
So accepted her
رَبُّهَا
her Lord
بِقَبُولٍ
with acceptance
حَسَنٍ
good
وَأَنۢبَتَهَا
and reared her
نَبَاتًا
a rearing
حَسَنًا
good
وَكَفَّلَهَا
and put her in (the) care
زَكَرِيَّا‌ۖ
(of) Zakariya
كُلَّمَا
Whenever
دَخَلَ
entered
عَلَيۡهَا
upon her
زَكَرِيَّا
Zakariya
ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ
[the] prayer chamber
وَجَدَ
he found
عِندَهَا
with her
رِزۡقًا‌ۖ
provision
قَالَ
He said
يَـٰمَرۡيَمُ
O Maryam
أَنَّىٰ
From where
لَكِ
for you
هَـٰذَا‌ۖ
(is) this
قَالَتۡ
She said
هُوَ
This
مِنۡ
(is)
عِندِ
from
ٱللَّهِ‌ۖ
Allah
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَرۡزُقُ
gives provision
مَن
(to) whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
بِغَيۡرِ
without
حِسَابٍ
measure
٣٧
So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, "O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?" She said, "It is from Allāh. Indeed, Allāh provides for whom He wills without account."
3:38
هُنَالِكَ
There only
دَعَا
invoked
زَكَرِيَّا
Zakariya
رَبَّهُۥ‌ۖ
his Lord
قَالَ
he said
رَبِّ
My Lord
هَبۡ
grant
لِى
[for] me
مِن
from
لَّدُنكَ
Yourself
ذُرِّيَّةً
offspring
طَيِّبَةً‌ۖ
pure
إِنَّكَ
Indeed, You
سَمِيعُ
(are) All-Hearer
ٱلدُّعَآءِ
(of) the prayer
٣٨
At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication."
3:39
فَنَادَتۡهُ
Then called him
ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
the Angels
وَهُوَ
when he
قَآئِمٌ
(was) standing
يُصَلِّى
praying
فِى
in
ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ
the prayer chamber
أَنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُبَشِّرُكَ
gives you glad tidings
بِيَحۡيَىٰ
of Yahya
مُصَدِّقَۢا
confirming
بِكَلِمَةٍ
[of] a Word
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَسَيِّدًا
and a noble
وَحَصُورًا
and chaste
وَنَبِيًّا
and a Prophet
مِّنَ
among
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
the righteous
٣٩
So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, "Indeed, Allāh gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word1 from Allāh and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous."
3:40
قَالَ
He said
رَبِّ
My Lord
أَنَّىٰ
how
يَكُونُ
can (there) be
لِى
for me
غُلَـٰمٌ
a son
وَقَدۡ
and verily
بَلَغَنِىَ
has reached me
ٱلۡكِبَرُ
[the] old age
وَٱمۡرَأَتِى
and my wife
عَاقِرٌ‌ۖ
(is) [a] barren
قَالَ
He said
كَذٰلِكَ
Thus
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَفۡعَلُ
does
مَا
what
يَشَآءُ
He wills
٤٠
He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?" He [the angel] said, "Such is Allāh; He does what He wills."
3:41
قَالَ
He said
رَبِّ
My Lord
ٱجۡعَل
make
لِّىٓ
for me
ءَايَةً‌ۖ
a sign
قَالَ
He said
ءَايَتُكَ
your sign
أَلَّا
(is) that not
تُكَلِّمَ

He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not [be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning."

But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allāh?" The disciples said, "We are supporters for Allāh. We have believed in Allāh and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].

This is what We recite to you, [O Muḥammad], of [Our] verses and the precise [and wise] message [i.e., the Qur’ān].
3:59

Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allāh1 is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.

the liars
٦١
Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allāh upon the liars [among us]."
3:62

Indeed, this is the true narration. And there is no deity except Allāh. And indeed, Allāh is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

But if they turn away, then indeed - Allāh is Knowing of the corrupters.

Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allāh and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allāh."1 But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]."

Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allāh knows, while you know not.

Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allāh]. And he was not of the polytheists.1
