Hizb 50
3 Surahs162 Versesالحزب 50
43:24
۞قَـٰ لَ
He said
أَوَلَوۡ
Even if
جِئۡتُكُم
I brought you
better guidance
مِمّ َا
than what
وَجَد تُّمۡ
you found
عَلَيۡهِ
on it
ءَابَا ٓءَكُمۡۖ
your forefathers
قَالُوٓ اۡ
They said
إِنّ َا
Indeed, we
بِمَآ
with what
أُرۡسِلۡتُم
you are sent
with [it]
كَـٰ فِرُو نَ
٢٤(are) disbelievers
[Each warner] said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."
43:25
فَٱ نت َقَمۡنَا
So We took retribution
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
from them
فَٱ نظ ُرۡ
Then see
كَيۡفَ
how
كَانَ
was
عَـٰ قِبَةُ
(the) end
(of) the deniers
So We took retribution from them; then see how was the end of the deniers.
43:26
وَإِذۡ
And when
قَالَ
Ibrahim Said
إِبۡ رٰ هِيمُ
Ibrahim Said
لِأَبِيهِ
to his father
وَقَوۡمِهِۦٓ
and his people
إِنّ َنِى
Indeed, I (am)
بَرَا ٓءٌ
disassociated
from what
تَعۡبُدُو نَ
٢٦you worship
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, "Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship
43:27
إِلَّا
Except
the One Who
فَطَرَنِى
created me
فَإِنّ َهُۥ
and indeed, He
سَيَهۡدِي نِ
٢٧will guide me
Except for He who created me; and indeed, He will guide me."
43:28
وَجَعَلَهَا
And he made it
كَلِمَةَۢ
a word
lasting
among
عَقِبِهِۦ
his descendents
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُو نَ
٢٨return
And he made it1 a word remaining among his descendants that they might return [to it].
43:29
بَلۡ
Nay
مَتَّعۡتُ
I gave enjoyment
هَـٰٓ ؤُلَا ٓءِ
(to) these
وَءَابَا ٓءَهُمۡ
and their forefathers
حَتَّىٰ
until
جَا ٓءَهُمُ
came to them
the truth
وَرَسُولٌ
and a Messenger
clear
However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers1 until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger.2
43:30
وَلَمّ َا
And when
جَا ٓءَهُمُ
came to them
the truth
قَالُواۡ
they said
هَـٰ ذَا
This
سِحۡرٌ
(is) magic
and indeed, we
بِهِۦ
of it
كَـٰ فِرُو نَ
٣٠(are) disbelievers
But when the truth came to them, they said, "This is magic, and indeed we are, concerning it, disbelievers."
43:31
وَقَالُواۡ
And they say
لَوۡلَا
Why not
نُزِّلَ
was sent down
هَـٰ ذَا
this
the Quran
عَلَىٰ
to
رَجُلٍ
a man
from
the two towns
عَظِي مٍ
٣١great
And they said, "Why was this Qur’ān not sent down upon a great man from [one of] the two cities?"1
43:32
أَهُمۡ
Do they
يَقۡ سِمُونَ
distribute
رَحۡمَتَ
(the) Mercy
رَبِّكَۚ
(of) your Lord
نَحۡنُ
We
قَسَمۡنَا
[We] distribute
بَيۡنَهُم
among them
their livelihood
فِى
in
the life
(of) the world
وَرَفَعۡنَا
and We raise
بَعۡضَهُمۡ
some of them
فَوۡقَ
above
بَعۡضٍ
others
(in) degrees
so that may take
بَعۡضُهُم
some of them
others
(for) service
But (the) Mercy
رَبِّكَ
(of) your Lord
خَيۡرٌ
(is) better
than what
يَجۡ مَعُو نَ
٣٢they accumulate
Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate.
43:33
وَلَوۡلَآ
And if not
أَن
that
(would) become
[the] mankind
أُمّ َةً
a community
one
We (would have) made
لِمَن
for (one) who
disbelieves
بِٱ ل رَّحۡمَـٰ نِ
in the Most Gracious
لِبُيُوتِهِمۡ
for their houses
سُقُفًا
roofs
of
silver
and stairways
عَلَيۡهَا
upon which
يَظۡهَرُو نَ
٣٣they mount
And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers],1 We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount.
43:34
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمۡ
And for their houses
أَبۡ وٰ بًا
doors
and couches
عَلَيۡهَا
upon which
يَتَّكِــُٔو نَ
٣٤they recline
And for their houses - doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline
43:35
وَزُخۡرُفًاۚ
And ornaments of gold
And not (is)
all
ذٰ لِكَ
that
لَمّ َا
but
مَتَـٰ عُ
an enjoyment
(of) the life
(of) the world
وَٱ لۡأَخِرَةُ
And the Hereafter
عِند َ
with
رَبِّكَ
your Lord
لِلۡمُتَّقِي نَ
٣٥(is) for the righteous
And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.
43:36
وَمَن
And whoever
turns away
عَن
from
(the) remembrance
(of) the Most Gracious
نُقَيِّضۡ
We appoint
لَهُۥ
for him
شَيۡطَـٰ نًا
a devil
then he
لَهُۥ
(is) to him
قَرِي نٌ
٣٦a companion
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.
43:37
وَإِنّ َهُمۡ
And indeed, they
لَيَصُدُّونَهُمۡ
surely, turn them
عَنِ
from
the Path
وَيَحۡسَبُونَ
and they think
أَنّ َهُم
that they
(are) guided
And indeed, they [i.e., the devils] avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided
43:38
حَتَّىٰٓ
Until
إِذَا
when
جَا ٓءَنَا
he comes to Us
قَالَ
he says
يَـٰ لَيۡتَ
O would that
بَيۡنِى
between me
وَبَيۡنَكَ
and between you
بُعۡدَ
(were the) distance
(of) the East and the West
فَبِئۡسَ
How wretched is
the companion
Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his companion], "How I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west; and what a wretched companion."
43:39
وَلَن
And never
will benefit you
the Day
إِذ
when
ظَّلَمۡتُمۡ
you have wronged
أَنّ َكُمۡ
that you
فِى
(will be) in
the punishment
مُشۡتَرِكُو نَ
٣٩sharing
And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment.
43:40
أَفَأَنت َ
Then can you
تُسۡمِعُ
cause to hear
the deaf
أَوۡ
or
تَهۡدِى
guide
the blind
وَمَن
and (one) who
is
فِى
in
ضَلَـٰ لٍ
an error
clear
Then will you make the deaf hear, [O Muḥammad], or guide the blind or he who is in clear error?
43:41
فَإِمّ َا
And whether
نَذۡهَبَنّ َ
We take you away
بِكَ
We take you away
فَإِنّ َا
then indeed, We
مِنۡهُم
from them
(will) take retribution
And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them.
43:42
أَوۡ
Or
نُرِيَنّ َكَ
We show you
that which
وَعَدۡ نَـٰ هُمۡ
We have promised them
فَإِنّ َا
then indeed, We
عَلَيۡهِم
over them
have full power
Or whether [or not] We show you that which We have promised them, indeed, We are Perfect in Ability.
43:43
فَٱ سۡتَمۡسِكۡ
So hold fast
بِٱ لَّذِىٓ
to that which
أُوحِىَ
is revealed
إِلَيۡكَۖ
to you
إِنّ َكَ
Indeed, you
عَلَىٰ
(are) on
صِرٰ طٍ
a Path
Straight
So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.
43:44
وَإِنّ َهُۥ
And indeed, it
لَذِكۡرٌ
(is) surely, a Reminder
for you
وَلِقَوۡمِكَۖ
and your people
وَسَوۡفَ
and soon
تُسۡــَٔلُو نَ
٤٤you will be questioned
And indeed, it is a remembrance1 for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned.
43:45
وَسۡــَٔلۡ
And ask
مَنۡ
(those) whom
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
We sent
مِن
before you
before you
مِن
of
Our Messengers
أَجَعَلۡنَا
did We make
مِن
besides
besides
the Most Gracious
ءَالِهَةً
gods
to be worshipped
And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped?
43:46
وَلَقَدۡ
And certainly
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
We sent
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
بِـَٔـايَـٰ تِنَآ
with Our Signs
إِلَىٰ
to
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firaun
وَمَلَإِيۡ هِۦ
and his chiefs
فَقَالَ
and he said
إِنّ ِى
Indeed, I am
رَسُولُ
a Messenger
رَبِّ
(of the) Lord
(of) the worlds
And certainly did We send Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, "Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds."
43:47
فَلَمّ َا
But when
جَا ٓءَهُم
he came to them
with Our Signs
إِذَا
behold
هُم
They
at them
يَضۡحَكُو نَ
٤٧laughed
But when he brought them Our signs, at once they laughed at them.
43:48
وَمَا
And not
نُرِيهِم
We showed them
of
ءَايَةٍ
a Sign
إِلَّا
but
هِىَ
it
أَكۡبَرُ
(was) greater
مِنۡ
than
أُخۡتِهَاۖ
its sister
وَأَخَذۡنَـٰ هُم
and We seized them
with the punishment
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُو نَ
٤٨return
And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith].
43:49
وَقَالُواۡ
And they said
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَ
O
[the] magician
Invoke
لَنَا
for us
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
بِمَا
by what
عَهِدَ
He has made covenant
عِند َكَ
with you
إِنّ َنَا
Indeed, we
لَمُهۡتَدُو نَ
٤٩(will) surely be guided
And they said [to Moses], "O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided."
43:50
فَلَمّ َا
But when
كَشَفۡنَا
We removed
عَنۡهُمُ
from them
the punishment
إِذَا
behold
هُمۡ
They
يَنك ُثُو نَ
٥٠broke (their word)
But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word.
43:51
وَنَادَىٰ
And called out
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firaun
فِى
among
قَوۡمِهِۦ
his people
قَالَ
he said
يَـٰ قَوۡمِ
O my people
أَلَيۡسَ
Is not
لِى
for me
مُلۡكُ
(the) kingdom
مِصۡرَ
(of) Egypt
وَهَـٰ ذِهِ
and these
[the] rivers
تَجۡ رِى
flowing
مِن
underneath me
underneath me
أَفَلَا
Then do not
تُبۡ صِرُو نَ
٥١you see
And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, "O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see?
43:52
أَمۡ
Or
أَنَاۡ
am I
خَيۡرٌ
better
than
هَـٰ ذَا
this
one who
هُوَ
he
مَهِينٌ
(is) insignificant
and hardly
يَكَادُ
and hardly
يُبِي نُ
٥٢clear
Or am I [not] better than this one [i.e., Moses] who is insignificant and hardly makes himself clear?1
43:53
فَلَوۡلَآ
Then why not
أُلۡقِىَ
are placed
عَلَيۡهِ
on him
أَسۡوِرَةٌ
bracelets
of
gold
أَوۡ
or
جَا ٓءَ
come
مَعَهُ
with him
the Angels
مُقۡ تَرِنِي نَ
٥٣accompanying (him)
Then why have there not been placed upon him bracelets of gold or come with him the angels in conjunction?"
43:54
فَٱ سۡتَخَفَّ
So he bluffed
قَوۡمَهُۥ
his people
فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ
and they obeyed him
إِنّ َهُمۡ
Indeed, they
كَانُواۡ
were
قَوۡمًا
a people
defiantly disobedient
So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allāh].
43:55
فَلَمّ َآ
So when
ءَاسَفُونَا
they angered Us
We took retribution
مِنۡهُمۡ
from them
فَأَغۡرَقۡ نَـٰ هُمۡ
and We drowned them
أَجۡ مَعِي نَ
٥٥all
And when they angered Us, We took retribution from them and drowned them all.
43:56
فَجَعَلۡنَـٰ هُمۡ
And We made them
سَلَفًا
a precedent
and an example
for the later (generations)
And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples.
43:57
۞وَلَمّ َا
And when
ضُرِبَ
is presented
(the) son
مَرۡيَمَ
(of) Maryam
مَثَلاً
(as) an example
إِذَا
behold
قَوۡمُكَ
Your people
مِنۡهُ
about it
يَصِدُّو نَ
٥٧laughed aloud
And when the son of Mary was presented as an example,1 immediately your people laughed aloud.
43:58
وَقَالُوٓ اۡ
And they said
ءَأٰ لِهَتُنَا
Are our gods
خَيۡرٌ
better
أَمۡ
or
هُوَۚ
he

Not

they present it
لَكَ
to you

except

Nay
هُمۡ
they
قَوۡمٌ
(are) a people
خَصِمُو نَ
٥٨argumentative
And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?"1 They did not present it [i.e., the comparison] except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute.
43:59
إِنۡ
Not
هُوَ
he
إِلَّا
(was) except
عَبۡ دٌ
a slave
أَنۡعَمۡنَا
We bestowed Our favor
عَلَيۡهِ
on him
وَجَعَلۡنَـٰ هُ
and We made him
مَثَلاً
an example
for (the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرٰ ٓءِي لَ
٥٩for (the) Children of Israel
He [i.e., Jesus] was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.
43:60
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَشَا ٓءُ
We willed
لَجَعَلۡنَا
surely We (could have) made
مِنك ُم
among you
Angels
in
the earth
يَخۡلُفُو نَ
٦٠succeeding
And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another]1 on the earth.
43:61
وَإِنّ َهُۥ
And indeed, it
لَعِلۡمٌ
surely (is) a knowledge
of the Hour
فَلَا
So (do) not
تَمۡتَرُنّ َ
(be) doubtful
بِهَا
about it
وَٱ تَّبِعُونِۚ
and follow Me
هَـٰ ذَا
This
صِرٰ طٌ
(is the) Path
Straight
And indeed, he [i.e., Jesus] will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me.1 This is a straight path.
43:62
وَلَا
And (let) not
يَصُدَّنّ َكُمُ
avert you
the Shaitaan
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, he
لَكُمۡ
(is) for you

an enemy
clear
And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
43:63
وَلَمّ َا
And when
جَا ٓءَ
came
عِيسَىٰ
Isa
بِٱ لۡبَيِّنَـٰ تِ
with clear proofs
قَالَ
he said
قَدۡ
Verily

and that I make clear

فِيهِۖ
in it
فَٱ تَّقُواۡ
So fear
Allah
وَأَطِيعُو نِ
٦٣and obey me
And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom [i.e., prophethood] and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allāh and obey me.
43:64
إِنّ َ
Indeed

Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.
43:83
فَذَرۡهُمۡ
So leave them

حَتَّىٰ

يُلَـٰ قُواۡ
they meet
يَوۡمَهُمُ
their Day
which

٨٣they are promised
So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised.
43:84
وَهُوَ

And it is He [i.e., Allāh] who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity. And He is the Wise, the Knowing.

And if

And if you asked them1 who created them, they would surely say, "Allāh." So how are they deluded?
