Back to Ruku Indexٱ لۡمُنَـٰ فِقِينَٱ للَّهَٱ ل صَّلَو ٰ ةِٱ ل نّ َاسَٱ للَّهَي ُضۡلِلِٱ للَّهُت َجِدَٱ لَّذِينَٱ لۡكَـٰ فِرِينَد ُونِٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚت َجۡ عَلُواۡ م ُّبِينًا١٤٤ٱ لۡمُنَـٰ فِقِينَٱ ل دَّرۡكِٱ لۡأَسۡفَلِٱ ل نّ َارِت َجِدَٱ لَّذِينَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖٱ للَّهُٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَٱ للَّهُش َكَرۡتُمۡٱ للَّهُٱ للَّهُٱ لۡجَهۡرَٱ لۡقَوۡلِظ ُلِمَۚٱ للَّهُت ُبۡ دُواۡ س ُو ٓءٍ ف َإِنّ َٱ للَّهَق َدِيرًا١٤٩ٱ لَّذِينَي ُفَرِّقُواۡ ٱ للَّهِو َنَكۡفُرُو َيُرِيدُونَي َتَّخِذُواۡ ٱ لۡكَـٰ فِرُونَو َأَعۡتَدۡ نَام ُّهِينًا١٥١م ِّنۡهُمۡٱ للَّهُر َّحِيمًا١٥٢
Ruku 82
1 Surahs11 Versesركوع 82
4:142
إِنّ َ
Indeed
the hypocrites
يُخَـٰ دِعُونَ
(seek to) deceive
Allah
وَهُوَ
and (it is) He
خَـٰ دِعُهُمۡ
who deceives them
وَإِذَا
And when
قَامُوٓ اۡ
they stand
إِلَى
for
the prayer
قَامُواۡ
they stand
كُسَالَىٰ
lazily
يُرَا ٓءُونَ
showing off
(to) the people
وَلَا
and not
يَذۡكُرُونَ
they remember
Allah
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلاً
١٤٢a little
Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allāh, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allāh except a little,
4:143
مُّذَبۡ ذَبِينَ
Wavering
بَيۡنَ
between
ذٰ
that
لَآ
not
إِلَىٰ
to
هَـٰٓ ؤُلَا ٓءِ
these
وَلَآ
and not
إِلَىٰ
to
هَـٰٓ ؤُلَا ٓءِۚ
those
وَمَن
And whoever
has been lead astray
(by) Allah
فَلَن
then never
you will find
لَهُۥ
for him
سَبِيلاً
١٤٣a way
Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to these [i.e., the believers] nor to those [i.e., the disbelievers]. And whoever Allāh sends astray - never will you find for him a way.
4:144
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you
who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe[d]
لَا
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواۡ
take
the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَا ٓءَ
(as) allies
مِن
from
instead of
the believers
أَتُرِيدُونَ
Do you wish
أَن
that
you make
لِلَّهِ
for Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
against you
سُلۡطَـٰ نًا
an evidence
clear
O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do you wish to give Allāh against yourselves a clear case?
4:145
إِنّ َ
Indeed
the hypocrites
فِى
(will be) in
the depths
the lowest
مِنَ
of
the Fire
وَلَن
and never
you will find
لَهُمۡ
for them
نَصِيرًا
١٤٥any helper
Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire - and never will you find for them a helper -
4:146
إِلَّا
Except
those who
تَابُواۡ
repent
وَأَصۡلَحُواۡ
and correct (themselves)
وَٱ عۡتَصَمُواۡ
and hold fast
بِٱ للَّهِ
to Allah
وَأَخۡلَصُواۡ
and are sincere
دِينَهُمۡ
(in) their religion
لِلَّهِ
for Allah
فَأُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
then those (will be)
مَعَ
with
the believers
وَسَوۡفَ
And soon
يُؤۡتِ
will be given
(by) Allah
the believers
أَجۡ رًا
a reward
عَظِيمًا
١٤٦great
Except for those who repent, correct themselves, hold fast to Allāh, and are sincere in their religion for Allāh, for those will be with the believers. And Allāh is going to give the believers a great reward.
4:147
مَّا
What
يَفۡعَلُ
would do
Allah
بِعَذَابِكُمۡ
by punishing you
إِن
if
you are grateful
وَءَامَنت ُمۡۚ
and you believe
وَكَانَ
And is
Allah
شَاكِرًا
All-Appreciative
عَلِيمًا
١٤٧All-Knowing
What would Allāh do with [i.e., gain from] your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allāh Appreciative1 and Knowing.
4:148
۞لَّا
(Does) not
يُحِبُّ
love
Allah
the public mention
بِٱ ل سُّو ٓءِ
of [the] evil
مِنَ
[of]
[the] words
إِلَّا
except
مَن
(by the one) who
has been wronged
وَكَانَ
And is
Allah
سَمِيعًا
All-Hearing
عَلِيمًا
١٤٨All-Knowing
Allāh does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allāh Hearing and Knowing.
4:149
إِن
If
you disclose
خَيۡرًا
a good
أَوۡ
or
تُخۡفُوهُ
you conceal it
أَوۡ
or
تَعۡفُواۡ
pardon
عَن
[of]
an evil
then indeed
Allah
كَانَ
is
عَفُوًّا
Oft-Pardoning
All-Powerful
If [instead] you show [some] good or conceal it or pardon an offense - indeed, Allāh is ever Pardoning and Competent.1
4:150
إِنّ َ
Indeed
those who
يَكۡفُرُونَ
disbelieve
بِٱ للَّهِ
in Allah
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
and His Messengers
وَيُرِيدُونَ
and they wish
أَن
that
they differentiate
بَيۡنَ
between
Allah
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
and His Messengers
وَيَقُولُونَ
and they say
نُؤۡمِنُ
We believe
بِبَعۡضٍ
in some
and we disbelieve
بِبَعۡضٍ
in others
And they wish
أَن
that
they take
بَيۡنَ
between
ذٰ
that
سَبِيلاً
١٥٠a way
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allāh and His messengers and wish to discriminate between Allāh and His messengers and say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to adopt a way in between -
4:151
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those
هُمُ
they
(are) the disbelievers
حَقًّاۚ
truly
And We have prepared
لِلۡكَـٰ فِرِينَ
for the disbelievers
عَذَابًا
a punishment
humiliating
Those are the disbelievers, truly. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.
4:152
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
بِٱ للَّهِ
in Allah
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
and His Messengers
وَلَمۡ
and not
يُفَرِّقُواۡ
they differentiate
بَيۡنَ
between
أَحَدٍ
(any) one
of them
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
those
سَوۡفَ
soon
يُؤۡتِيهِمۡ
He will give them
أُجُورَهُمۡۗ
their reward
وَكَانَ
And is
Allah
غَفُورًا
Oft-Forgiving
Most Merciful
But they who believe in Allāh and His messengers and do not discriminate between any of them - to those He is going to give their rewards. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.
