1 Surahs5 Versesركوع 56
3:144
وَمَا
And not
مُحَمّ َدٌ
(is) Muhammad
إِلَّا
except
رَسُولٌ
a Messenger
certainly
خَلَتۡ
passed away
مِن
from
before him
[the] (other) Messengers
أَفَإِيۡ ن
So if
he died
أَوۡ
or
قُتِلَ
is slain
will you turn back
عَلَىٰٓ
on
أَعۡقَـٰ بِكُمۡۚ
your heels
وَمَن
And whoever
turns back
عَلَىٰ
on
عَقِبَيۡهِ
his heels
فَلَن
then never
will he harm
Allah
شَيۡــًٔاۗ
(in) anything
And will reward
Allah
the grateful ones
Muḥammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allāh at all; but Allāh will reward the grateful.
3:145
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
is
لِنَفۡسٍ
for a soul
أَن
that
he dies
إِلَّا
except
بِإِذۡنِ
by (the) permission
(of) Allah
كِتَـٰ بًا
(at a) decree
determined
And whoever
desires
ثَوَابَ
reward
(of) the world
نُؤۡتِهِۦ
We will give him
مِنۡهَا
thereof
وَمَن
and whoever
desires
ثَوَابَ
reward
(of) the Hereafter
نُؤۡتِهِۦ
We will give him
مِنۡهَاۚ
thereof
وَسَنَجۡ زِى
And We will reward
the grateful ones
And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allāh at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And We will reward the grateful.
3:146
وَكَأَيِّن
And how many
from
a Prophet
fought
مَعَهُۥ
with him
رِبِّيُّونَ
(were) religious scholars
كَثِيرٌ
many
But not
وَهَنُواۡ
they lost heart
لِمَآ
for what
أَصَابَهُمۡ
befell them
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
(the) way
(of) Allah
وَمَا
and not
ضَعُفُواۡ
they weakened
وَمَا
and not
they gave in
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
the patient ones
And how many a prophet [fought in battle and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allāh, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allāh loves the steadfast.
3:147
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
were
قَوۡلَهُمۡ
their words
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
they said
رَبَّنَا
Our Lord
forgive
لَنَا
for us
ذُنُوبَنَا
our sins
وَإِسۡرَافَنَا
and our excesses
فِىٓ
in
أَمۡرِنَا
our affairs
وَثَبِّتۡ
and make firm
أَقۡ دَامَنَا
our feet
وَٱ نص ُرۡنَا
and give us victory
عَلَى
over
[the people]
the disbelievers
And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
3:148
فَـَٔـاتَـٰ هُمُ
So gave them
Allah
ثَوَابَ
reward
(in) the world
وَحُسۡنَ
and good
ثَوَابِ
reward
(in) the Hereafter
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
the good-doers
So Allāh gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allāh loves the doers of good.
