1 Surahs11 Versesركوع 537

93:1

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ

By the morning brightness

93:2

وَٱلَّيۡلِ

And the night

إِذَا

when

سَجَىٰ

it covers with darkness

And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,¹

93:3

مَا

Not

وَدَّعَكَ

has forsaken you

رَبُّكَ

your Lord

وَمَا

and not

قَلَىٰ

He is displeased

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muḥammad], nor has He detested [you].

93:4

وَلَلۡأَخِرَةُ

And surely the Hereafter

خَيۡرٌ

(is) better

لَّكَ

for you

مِنَ

than

ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

the first

And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].

93:5

وَلَسَوۡفَ

And soon

يُعۡطِيكَ

will give you

رَبُّكَ

your Lord

فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ

then you will be satisfied

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.

93:6

أَلَمۡ

Did not

يَجِدۡكَ

He find you

يَتِيمًا

an orphan

فَـَٔـاوَىٰ

and give shelter

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

93:7

وَوَجَدَكَ

And He found you

ضَآلاًّ

lost

فَهَدَىٰ

so He guided

And He found you lost and guided [you],

93:8

وَوَجَدَكَ

And He found you

عَآئِلاً

in need

فَأَغۡنَىٰ

so He made self-sufficient

And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.

93:9

فَأَمَّا

So as for

ٱلۡيَتِيمَ

the orphan

فَلَا

then (do) not

تَقۡهَرۡ

oppress

So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].

93:10

وَأَمَّا

And as for

ٱلسَّآئِلَ

one who asks

فَلَا

then (do) not

تَنۡهَرۡ

repel

١٠

And as for the petitioner,¹ do not repel [him].

93:11

وَأَمَّا

But as for

بِنِعۡمَةِ

(the) Favor

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

فَحَدِّثۡ

narrate

But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
