1 Surahs10 Versesركوع 441
46:11
وَقَالَ
And say
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve
لِلَّذِينَ
of those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
لَوۡ
If
كَانَ
it had been
خَيۡرًا
good
not
سَبَقُونَآ
they (would) have preceded us
إِلَيۡهِۚ
to it
وَإِذۡ
And when
لَمۡ
not
يَهۡتَدُواۡ
they (are) guided
بِهِۦ
by it
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
they say
هَـٰ ذَآ
This
إِفۡكٌ
(is) a lie
ancient
And those who disbelieve say of those who believe, "If it had [truly] been good, they would not have preceded us to it." And when they are not guided by it, they will say, "This is an ancient falsehood."
46:12
وَمِن
And before it
And before it
كِتَـٰ بُ
(was the) Scripture
مُوسَىٰٓ
(of) Musa
إِمَامًا
(as) a guide
and a mercy
And this
كِتَـٰ بٌ
(is) a Book
confirming
(in) language
عَرَبِيًّا
Arabic
to warn
those who
ظَلَمُواۡ
do wrong
وَبُشۡرَىٰ
and (as) glad tidings
لِلۡمُحۡسِنِي نَ
١٢for the good-doers
And before it was the scripture of Moses to lead and as a mercy. And this is a confirming Book in an Arabic tongue to warn those who have wronged and as good tidings to the doers of good.
46:13
إِنّ َ
Indeed
those who
قَالُواۡ
say
رَبُّنَا
Our Lord
(is) Allah
ثُمّ َ
then
remain firm
فَلَا
then no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
on them
وَلَا
and not
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُو نَ
١٣will grieve
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allāh," and then remained on a right course - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
46:14
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those
أَصۡحَـٰ بُ
(are the) companions
(of) Paradise
خَـٰ لِدِينَ
abiding forever
فِيهَا
therein
جَزَا ٓءَۢ
a reward
for what
كَانُواۡ
they used to
يَعۡمَلُو نَ
١٤do
Those are the companions of Paradise, abiding eternally therein as reward for what they used to do.
46:15
وَوَصَّيۡنَا
And We have enjoined
(on) man
بِوٰ لِدَيۡهِ
to his parents

And (the) bearing of him

he says
رَبِّ
My Lord
أَوۡزِعۡنِىٓ

that

I may be grateful
نِعۡمَتَكَ
(for) Your favor
which
أَنۡعَمۡتَ
You have bestowed
عَلَىَّ
upon me
وَعَلَىٰ
and upon
وٰ لِدَىَّ
my parents
وَأَنۡ

إِنّ ِى
indeed
تُبۡ تُ
I turn
إِلَيۡكَ
to You
وَإِنّ ِى
and indeed, I am
مِنَ
of
those who submit
And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me1 to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
46:16
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those
(are) the ones
نَتَقَبَّلُ
We will accept
عَنۡهُمۡ
from them
أَحۡسَنَ
(the) best
مَا
(of) what
عَمِلُواۡ
they did
وَنَتَجَاوَزُ
and We will overlook
عَن
[from]
their evil deeds
فِىٓ
among
أَصۡحَـٰ بِ
(the) companions
(of) Paradise
وَعۡدَ
A promise
true
which
كَانُواۡ
they were
يُوعَدُو نَ
١٦promised
Those are the ones from whom We will accept the best of what they did and overlook their misdeeds, [their being] among the companions of Paradise. [That is] the promise of truth which they had been promised.
46:17
وَٱ لَّذِى
But the one who
قَالَ
says
لِوٰ لِدَيۡهِ
to his parents
أُفٍّ
Uff
to both of you
أَتَعِدَانِنِىٓ
Do you promise me
أَنۡ
that
أُخۡرَجَ
I will be brought forth
وَقَدۡ
and have already passed away
خَلَتِ
and have already passed away
the generations
مِن
before me
before me
وَهُمَا
And they both
يَسۡتَغِيثَانِ
seek help
(of) Allah
وَيۡلَكَ
Woe to you

Believe
إِنّ َ
Indeed

(the) Promise
(of) Allah
حَقٌّ

But he says
مَا
Not
هَـٰ ذَآ
(is) this
إِلَّآ
but
أَسَـٰ طِيرُ
(the) stories
(of) the former (people)
But one who says to his parents, "Uff1 to you; do you promise me that I will be brought forth [from the earth] when generations before me have already passed on [into oblivion]?" while they call to Allāh for help [and to their son], "Woe to you! Believe! Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth." But he says, "This is not but legends of the former peoples" -
46:18
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those
(are) the ones
حَقَّ
(has) proved true
عَلَيۡهِمُ
against them
the word
فِىٓ
among

nations

خَلَتۡ
(that) already passed away
مِن
before them
before them
of
(the) jinn
وَٱ لۡإِنس ِۖ
and the men
إِنّ َهُمۡ
Indeed, they
كَانُواۡ
are
خَـٰ سِرِي نَ
١٨(the) losers
Those are the ones upon whom the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect, [who will be] among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.
46:19
وَلِكُلٍّ
And for all
(are) degrees
for what
عَمِلُواۡۖ
they did
وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ
and that He may fully compensate them
أَعۡمَـٰ لَهُمۡ
(for) their deeds
وَهُمۡ
and they
لَا
will not be wronged
يُظۡلَمُو نَ
١٩will not be wronged
And for all there are degrees [of reward and punishment] for what they have done, and [it is] so that He may fully compensate them for their deeds, and they will not be wronged.
46:20
وَيَوۡمَ
And (the) Day
يُعۡرَضُ
will be exposed
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieved
عَلَى
to
the Fire
أَذۡهَبۡ تُمۡ
You exhausted
طَيِّبَـٰ تِكُمۡ
your good things
فِى
in
حَيَاتِكُمُ
your life
(of) the world
وَٱ سۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم
and you took your pleasures
therein
فَٱ لۡيَوۡمَ
So today
تُجۡ زَوۡنَ
you will be recompensed
عَذَابَ
(with) a punishment
humiliating
بِمَا
because
كُنت ُمۡ
you were
تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
arrogant
فِى
in
the earth
بِغَيۡرِ
without
[the] right
وَبِمَا
and because
كُنت ُمۡ
you were
تَفۡسُقُو نَ
٢٠defiantly disobedient
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "You exhausted your pleasures during your worldly life and enjoyed them, so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without right and because you were defiantly disobedient."
