1 Surahs11 Versesركوع 43
3:10
إِنّ َ
Indeed
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve[d]
لَن
never
will avail
عَنۡهُمۡ
[for] them
أَمۡوٰ لُهُمۡ
their wealth
وَلَآ
and not
أَوۡلَـٰ دُهُم
their children
against
Allah
شَيۡــًٔاۖ
anything
and those
هُمۡ
they (are)
وَقُودُ
(the) fuel
(for) the Fire
Indeed, those who disbelieve - never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allāh at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire.
3:11
كَدَأۡبِ
Like behavior
ءَالِ
(of the) people
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
(of) Firaun
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
and those who
مِن
(were) from
before them
كَذَّبُواۡ
They denied
بِـَٔـايَـٰ تِنَا
Our Signs
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
so seized them
Allah
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۗ
for their sins
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
شَدِيدُ
(is) severe
(in) [the] punishment
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allāh seized them for their sins. And Allāh is severe in penalty.
3:12
قُل
Say
لِّلَّذِينَ
to those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve[d]
سَتُغۡلَبُونَ
You will be overcome
وَتُحۡشَرُونَ
and you will be gathered
إِلَىٰ
to
جَهَنّ َمَۚ
Hell
وَبِئۡسَ
[and] an evil
[the] resting place
Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place."
3:13
قَدۡ
Surely
كَانَ
it was
لَكُمۡ
for you
ءَايَةٌ
a sign
in
فِئَتَيۡنِ
(the) two hosts
which met
فِئَةٌ
one group
fighting
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
(the) way
(of) Allah
وَأُخۡرَىٰ
and another
كَافِرَةٌ
disbelievers
They were seeing them
twice of them
رَأۡىَ
with the sight
(of) their eyes
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
يُؤَيِّدُ
supports
بِنَصۡرِهِۦ
with His help
مَن
whom
He wills
إِنّ َ
Indeed
فِى
in
ذٰ لِكَ
that
لَعِبۡ رَةً
surely (is) a lesson
for the owners
(of) vision
Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met [in combat at Badr] - one fighting in the cause of Allāh and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight.1 But Allāh supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.
3:14
زُيِّنَ
Beautified
لِلنّ َاسِ
for mankind
حُبُّ
(is) love
(of) the (things they) desire
مِنَ
of
[the] women
وَٱ لۡبَنِينَ
and [the] sons
وَٱ لۡقَنَـٰ طِيرِ
and [the] heaps
[the] stored up
مِنَ
of
[the] gold
وَٱ لۡفِضَّةِ
and [the] silver
وَٱ لۡخَيۡلِ
and [the] horses
[the] branded
وَٱ لۡأَنۡعَـٰ مِ
and [the] cattle
وَٱ لۡحَرۡثِۗ
and [the] tilled land
ذٰ لِكَ
That
مَتَـٰ عُ
(is) provision
(of) life
(of) the world
وَٱ للَّهُ
but Allah
عِند َهُۥ
with Him
حُسۡنُ
(is an) excellent
[the] abode to return
Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allāh has with Him the best return [i.e., Paradise].
3:15
۞قُلۡ

وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah

of (His) slaves
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allāh will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allāh. And Allāh is Seeing [i.e., aware] of [His] servants -
3:16
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَقُولُونَ
say
رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
إِنّ َنَآ
Indeed, we

our sins

(from) punishment
(of) the Fire
Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,"
3:17
ٱل صَّـٰ بِرِينَ
The patient

and the truthful
وَٱ لۡقَـٰ نِتِينَ
and the obedient

وَٱ لۡمُسۡتَغۡفِرِينَ
and those who seek forgiveness
بِٱ لۡأَسۡحَا رِ
١٧[in the] before dawn
The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allāh], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.
3:18
شَهِدَ
Bears witness
Allah
أَنّ َهُۥ
that [He]
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَـٰ هَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
وَٱ لۡمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَةُ
and (so do) the Angels
وَأُوۡ لُواۡ
and owners
(of) [the] knowledge
قَا ٓئِمَۢا
standing
in justice
لَآ
(There is) no
إِلَـٰ هَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
the All-Mighty
the All-Wise
Allāh witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
3:19
إِنّ َ
Indeed
the religion
عِند َ
near
Allah
(is) Islam
وَمَا
And not
differed
those who
أُوتُواۡ
were given
the Book
إِلَّا
except
مِنۢ
from
after
مَا
[what]
جَا ٓءَهُمُ
came to them
[the] knowledge
بَغۡيَۢا
out of envy
among them
وَمَن
And whoever
disbelieves
بِـَٔـايَـٰ تِ
in (the) Verses
(of) Allah
فَإِنّ َ
then indeed
Allah
سَرِيعُ
(is) swift
(in taking) account
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allāh is Islām. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allāh, then indeed, Allāh is swift in [taking] account.
3:20
فَإِنۡ
Then if
حَا ٓجُّوكَ
they argue with you
فَقُلۡ
then say
أَسۡلَمۡتُ
I have submitted
وَجۡ هِىَ
myself
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَمَنِ
and (those) who
follow me
وَقُل
And say
لِّلَّذِينَ
to those who
أُوتُواۡ
were given
the Book
وَٱ لۡأُمّ ِيِّــۧ نَ
and the unlettered people
ءَأَسۡلَمۡتُمۡۚ
Have you submitted yourselves
فَإِنۡ
Then if
أَسۡلَمُواۡ
they submit
فَقَدِ
then surely
they are guided
وَّإِن
But if
they turn back
فَإِنّ َمَا
then only
عَلَيۡكَ
on you
(is) to [the] convey
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
(is) All-Seer
of [His] slaves
So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allāh [in Islām], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned,1 "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islām], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away - then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allāh is Seeing of [His] servants.
