2:284
لِّلَّهِ
To Allah (belongs)
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
the heavens
وَمَا
and whatever
فِى
(is) in
the earth
وَإِن
And if
you disclose
مَا
what
فِىٓ
(is) in
أَنف ُسِكُمۡ
yourselves
أَوۡ
or
تُخۡفُوهُ
you conceal it
يُحَاسِبۡ كُم
will call you to account
for it
Allah
فَيَغۡفِرُ
Then, He will forgive
لِمَن
[to] whom
He wills
وَيُعَذِّبُ
and He will punish
مَن
whom
He wills
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
on
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
(is) All-Powerful
To Allāh belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allāh will bring you to account for it. Then He will forgive whom He wills and punish whom He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.
2:285

his Lord
وَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۚ

All
ءَامَنَ
believed
بِٱ للَّهِ
in Allah
وَمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَتِهِۦ
and His Angels
وَكُتُبِهِۦ
and His Books
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
and His Messengers
لَا
Not
نُفَرِّقُ
we make distinction
بَيۡنَ
between
أَحَدٍ
any
of
His messengers
وَقَالُواۡ
And they said
سَمِعۡنَا
We heard
وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ
and we obeyed
غُفۡرَانَكَ
(Grant) us Your forgiveness
رَبَّنَا
our Lord
وَإِلَيۡكَ
and to You
(is) the return
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allāh and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."
2:286
لَا
(Does) not
يُكَلِّفُ
burden
Allah
نَفۡسًا
any soul
إِلَّا
except
وُسۡعَهَاۚ
its capacity
لَهَا
for it
مَا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
وَعَلَيۡهَا
and against it
مَا
what
it earned
رَبَّنَا
Our Lord
لَا
(Do) not
تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ
take us to task
إِن
if
we forget
أَوۡ
or
أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ
we err
رَبَّنَا
Our Lord
وَلَا
And (do) not
تَحۡمِلۡ
lay
عَلَيۡنَآ
upon us
إِصۡرًا
a burden
like that
حَمَلۡتَهُۥ
(which) You laid [it]
عَلَى
on
those who
مِن
(were) from
before us
رَبَّنَا
Our Lord
وَلَا
[And] (do) not
تُحَمّ ِلۡنَا
lay on us
مَا
what
لَا
not
طَاقَةَ
(the) strength
لَنَا
we have
بِهِۦ ۖ
[of it] (to bear)
وَٱ عۡفُ
And pardon
عَنّ َا
[from] us
وَٱ غۡفِرۡ
and forgive
لَنَا
[for] us
وَٱ رۡحَمۡنَآۚ
and have mercy on us
أَنت َ
You (are)
مَوۡلَـٰ نَا
our Protector
فَٱ نص ُرۡنَا
so help us
عَلَى
against
the people
[the] disbelievers
Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."1
