1 Surahs17 Versesركوع 386
36:51
وَنُفِخَ
And will be blown
فِى
[in]
ٱلصُّورِ
the trumpet
فَإِذَا
and behold
هُم
They
مِّنَ
from
ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ
the graves
إِلَىٰ
to
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
يَنسِلُونَ
[they] will hasten
٥١
And the Horn will be blown;1 and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.
36:52
قَالُواۡ
They [will] say
يَـٰوَيۡلَنَا
O woe to us
مَنۢ
Who
بَعَثَنَا
has raised us
مِن
from
مَّرۡقَدِنَاۜ‌ۗ
our sleeping place
هَـٰذَا
This (is)
مَا
What
وَعَدَ
(had) promised
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
the Most Gracious
وَصَدَقَ
and told (the) truth
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
the Messengers
٥٢
They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth."
36:53
إِن
Not
كَانَتۡ
it will be
إِلَّا
but
صَيۡحَةً
a shout
وٰحِدَةً
single
فَإِذَا
so behold
هُمۡ
They
جَمِيعٌ
all
لَّدَيۡنَا
before Us
مُحۡضَرُونَ
(will be) brought
٥٣
It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.
36:54
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
So this Day
لَا
not
تُظۡلَمُ
will be wronged
نَفۡسٌ
a soul
شَيۡــًٔا
(in) anything
وَلَا
and not
تُجۡزَوۡنَ
you will be recompensed
إِلَّا
except
مَا
(for) what
كُنتُمۡ
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
do
٥٤
So today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
36:55
إِنَّ
Indeed
أَصۡحَـٰبَ
(the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
(of) Paradise
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
this Day
فِى
[in]
شُغُلٍ
will be occupied
فَـٰكِهُونَ
(in) amusement
٥٥
Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation -
36:56
هُمۡ
They
وَأَزۡوٰجُهُمۡ
and their spouses
فِى
in
ظِلَـٰلٍ
shades
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ
[the] couches
مُتَّكِــُٔونَ
reclining
٥٦
They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.
36:57
لَهُمۡ
For them
فِيهَا
therein
فَـٰكِهَةٌ
(are) fruits
وَلَهُم
and for them
مَّا
(is) whatever
يَدَّعُونَ
they call for
٥٧
For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]
36:58
سَلَـٰمٌ
Peace
قَوۡلاً
A word
مِّن
from
رَّبٍّ
a Lord
رَّحِيمٍ
Most Merciful
٥٨
[And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord.
36:59
وَٱمۡتَـٰزُواۡ
But stand apart
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
today
أَيُّهَا
O criminals
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
O criminals
٥٩
[Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals.1
36:60
۞أَلَمۡ
Did not
أَعۡهَدۡ
I enjoin
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
upon you
يَـٰبَنِىٓ
O Children of Adam
ءَادَمَ
O Children of Adam
أَن
That
لَّا
(do) not
تَعۡبُدُواۡ
worship
ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنَ‌ۖ
the Shaitaan
إِنَّهُۥ
indeed, he
لَكُمۡ
(is) for you
عَدُوٌّ
an enemy
مُّبِينٌ
clear
٦٠
Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -
36:61
وَأَنِ
And that
ٱعۡبُدُونِى‌ۚ
you worship Me
هَـٰذَا
This
صِرٰطٌ
(is) a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٌ
Straight
٦١
And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.
36:62
وَلَقَدۡ
And indeed
أَضَلَّ
he led astray
مِنكُمۡ
from you
جِبِلاًّ
a multitude
كَثِيرًا‌ۖ
great
أَفَلَمۡ
Then did not
تَكُونُواۡ
you
تَعۡقِلُونَ
use reason
٦٢
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
36:63
هَـٰذِهِۦ
This (is)
جَهَنَّمُ
(the) Hell
ٱلَّتِى
which
كُنتُمۡ
you were
تُوعَدُونَ
promised
٦٣
This is the Hellfire which you were promised.
36:64
ٱصۡلَوۡهَا
Burn therein
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
today
بِمَا
because
كُنتُمۡ
you used to
تَكۡفُرُونَ
disbelieve
٦٤
[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."1
36:65
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
This Day
نَخۡتِمُ
We will seal
عَلَىٰٓ
[on]
أَفۡوٰهِهِمۡ
their mouths
وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ
and will speak to Us
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
their hands
وَتَشۡهَدُ
and will bear witness
أَرۡجُلُهُم
their feet
بِمَا
about what
كَانُواۡ
they used to
يَكۡسِبُونَ
earn
٦٥
That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
36:66
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَشَآءُ
We willed
لَطَمَسۡنَا
We (would have) surely obliterated
عَلَىٰٓ
[over]
أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ
their eyes
فَٱسۡتَبَقُواۡ
then they (would) race
ٱلصِّرٰطَ
(to find) the path
فَأَنَّىٰ
then how
يُبۡصِرُونَ
(could) they see
٦٦
And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?1
36:67
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَشَآءُ
We willed
لَمَسَخۡنَـٰهُمۡ
surely, We (would have) transformed them
عَلَىٰ
in
مَكَانَتِهِمۡ
their places
فَمَا
then not
ٱسۡتَطَـٰعُواۡ
they would have been able
مُضِيًّا
to proceed
وَلَا
and not
يَرۡجِعُونَ
return
٦٧
And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.1
