1 Surahs7 Versesركوع 38
2:267
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُوٓاۡ
believe[d]
أَنفِقُواۡ
Spend
مِن
from
طَيِّبَـٰتِ
(the) good things
مَا
that
كَسَبۡتُمۡ
you have earned
وَمِمَّآ
and whatever
أَخۡرَجۡنَا
We brought forth
لَكُم
for you
مِّنَ
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ
the earth
وَلَا
And (do) not
تَيَمَّمُواۡ
aim (at)
ٱلۡخَبِيثَ
the bad
مِنۡهُ
of it
تُنفِقُونَ
you spend
وَلَسۡتُم
while you (would) not
بِـَٔـاخِذِيهِ
take it
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
[that]
تُغۡمِضُواۡ
(with) close(d) eyes
فِيهِ‌ۚ
[in it]
وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاۡ
and know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَنِىٌّ
(is) Self-Sufficient
حَمِيدٌ
Praiseworthy
٢٦٧
O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allāh is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
2:268
ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ
The Shaitaan
يَعِدُكُمُ
promises you
ٱلۡفَقۡرَ
[the] poverty
وَيَأۡمُرُكُم
and orders you
بِٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ‌ۖ
to immorality
وَٱللَّهُ
while Allah
يَعِدُكُم
promises you
مَّغۡفِرَةً
forgiveness
مِّنۡهُ
from Him
وَفَضۡلاً‌ۗ
and bounty
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
وٰسِعٌ
(is) All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٌ
All-Knowing
٢٦٨
Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allāh promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allāh is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
2:269
يُؤۡتِى
He grants
ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ
[the] wisdom
مَن
(to) whom
يَشَآءُ‌ۚ
He wills
وَمَن
and whoever
يُؤۡتَ
is granted
ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ
[the] wisdom
فَقَدۡ
then certainly
أُوتِىَ
he is granted
خَيۡرًا
good
كَثِيرًا‌ۗ
abundant
وَمَا
And none
يَذَّكَّرُ
remembers
إِلَّآ
except
أُوۡلُواۡ
those
ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ
(of) understanding
٢٦٩
He gives wisdom1 to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.
2:270
وَمَآ
And whatever
أَنفَقۡتُم
you spend
مِّن
(out) of
نَّفَقَةٍ
(your) expenditures
أَوۡ
or
نَذَرۡتُم
you vow
مِّن
of
نَّذۡرٍ
vow(s)
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُهُۥ‌ۗ
knows it
وَمَا
and not
لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
for the wrongdoers
مِنۡ
any
أَنصَارٍ
helpers
٢٧٠
And whatever you spend of expenditures or make of vows - indeed, Allāh knows of it. And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
2:271
إِن
If
تُبۡدُواۡ
you disclose
ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ
the charities
فَنِعِمَّا
then good
هِىَ‌ۖ
it (is)
وَإِن
But if
تُخۡفُوهَا
you keep it secret
وَتُؤۡتُوهَا
and give it
ٱلۡفُقَرَآءَ
(to) the poor
فَهُوَ
then it
خَيۡرٌ
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ‌ۚ
for you
وَيُكَفِّرُ
And He will remove
عَنكُم
from you
مِّن
[of]
سَيِّـَٔـاتِكُمۡ‌ۗ
your evil deeds
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
بِمَا
with what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
خَبِيرٌ
(is) All-Aware
٢٧١
If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allāh, of what you do, is [fully] Aware.
2:272
۞لَّيۡسَ
Not
عَلَيۡكَ
on you
هُدَٮٰهُمۡ
(is) their guidance
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
[and] but
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَهۡدِى
guides
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ‌ۗ
He wills
وَمَا
And whatever
تُنفِقُواۡ
you spend
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡرٍ
good
فَلِأَنفُسِكُمۡ‌ۚ
then it is for yourself
وَمَا
and not
تُنفِقُونَ
you spend
إِلَّا
except
ٱبۡتِغَآءَ
seeking
وَجۡهِ
(the) face
ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ
(of) Allah
وَمَا
And whatever
تُنفِقُواۡ
you spend
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡرٍ
good
يُوَفَّ
will be repaid in full
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
to you
وَأَنتُمۡ
and you
لَا
(will) not
تُظۡلَمُونَ
be wronged
٢٧٢
Not upon you, [O Muḥammad], is [responsibility for] their guidance, but Allāh guides whom He wills. And whatever good you [believers] spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh. And whatever you spend of good1 - it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.
2:273
لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ
For the poor
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُحۡصِرُواۡ
are wrapped up
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
لَا
not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
they are able
ضَرۡبًا
(to) move about
فِى
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
the earth
يَحۡسَبُهُمُ
Think (about) them
ٱلۡجَاهِلُ
the ignorant one
أَغۡنِيَآءَ
(that they are) self-sufficient
مِنَ
(because) of
ٱلتَّعَفُّفِ
(their) restraint
تَعۡرِفُهُم
you recognize them
بِسِيمَـٰهُمۡ
by their mark
لَا
Not
يَسۡــَٔلُونَ
(do) they ask
ٱلنَّاسَ
the people
إِلۡحَافًا‌ۗ
with importunity
وَمَا
And whatever
تُنفِقُواۡ
you spend
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡرٍ
good
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِهِۦ
of it
عَلِيمٌ
(is) All-Knower
٢٧٣
[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allāh, unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all]. And whatever you spend of good - indeed, Allāh is Knowing of it.
