1 Surahs11 Versesركوع 361
32:12
وَلَوۡ
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
you (could) see
إِذِ
when
the criminals
نَاكِسُواۡ
(will) hang
رُءُوسِهِمۡ
their heads
عِند َ
before
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
أَبۡ صَرۡنَا
we have seen
وَسَمِعۡنَا
and we have heard
فَٱ رۡجِعۡنَا
so return us
نَعۡمَلۡ
we will do
صَـٰ لِحًا
righteous (deeds)
إِنّ َا
Indeed, we
مُوقِنُو نَ
١٢(are now) certain
If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."
32:13
وَلَوۡ
And if
شِئۡنَا
We (had) willed
لَأَتَيۡنَا
surely We (would) have given
كُلَّ
every
نَفۡسٍ
soul
هُدَٮٰ هَا
its guidance
وَلَـٰ كِنۡ
but
حَقَّ
(is) true
the Word
مِنّ ِى
from Me
لَأَمۡلَأَنّ َ
that I will surely fill
جَهَنّ َمَ
Hell
مِنَ
with
the jinn
وَٱ ل نّ َاسِ
and the men
أَجۡ مَعِي نَ
١٣together
And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word1 from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.
32:14
فَذُوقُواۡ
So taste
بِمَا
because
نَسِيتُمۡ
you forgot
لِقَا ٓءَ
(the) meeting
يَوۡمِكُمۡ
(of) this Day of yours
هَـٰ ذَآ
(of) this Day of yours
إِنّ َا
Indeed, We
نَسِينَـٰ كُمۡۖ
have forgotten you
وَذُوقُواۡ
And taste
عَذَابَ
(the) punishment
(of) eternity
بِمَا
for what
كُنت ُمۡ
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُو نَ
١٤do
So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
32:15
إِنّ َمَا
Only
يُؤۡمِنُ
believe
بِـَٔـايَـٰ تِنَا
in Our Verses
those who
إِذَا
when
ذُكِّرُواۡ
they are reminded
بِهَا
of them
خَرُّواۡ
fall down
سُجَّدًا
prostrating
and glorify
بِحَمۡدِ
(the) praises
رَبِّهِمۡ
(of) their Lord
وَهُمۡ
and they
لَا
are not arrogant
يَسۡتَكۡبِرُو نَ
۩are not arrogant
Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allāh] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
32:16
تَتَجَافَىٰ
Forsake
جُنُوبُهُمۡ
their sides
عَنِ
from
(their) beds
يَدۡ عُونَ
they call
رَبَّهُمۡ
their Lord
خَوۡفًا
(in) fear
and hope
and out of what
رَزَقۡ نَـٰ هُمۡ
We have provided them
يُنف ِقُو نَ
١٦they spend
Their sides part [i.e., they arise] from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.1
32:17
فَلَا
And not
تَعۡلَمُ
knows
نَفۡسٌ
a soul
what
أُخۡفِىَ
is hidden
لَهُم
for them
of
(the) comfort
أَعۡيُنٍ
(for) the eyes
(as) a reward
for what
كَانُواۡ
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُو نَ
١٧do
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e., satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.
32:18
أَفَمَن
Then is one who
is
مُؤۡمِنًا
a believer
like (him) who
is
فَاسِقًاۚ
defiantly disobedient
Not
يَسۡتَوُۥ نَ
١٨they are equal
Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.
32:19
أَمّ َا
As for
those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
وَعَمِلُواۡ
and do
righteous deeds
فَلَهُمۡ
then for them
جَنّ َـٰ تُ
(are) Gardens
(of) Refuge
نُزُلاَۢ
(as) hospitality
for what
كَانُواۡ
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُو نَ
١٩do
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.
32:20
وَأَمّ َا
But as for
those who
فَسَقُواۡ
are defiantly disobedient
فَمَأۡوَٮٰ هُمُ
then their refuge
(is) the Fire
كُلَّمَآ
Every time
أَرَادُوٓ اۡ
they wish
أَن
to
come out
مِنۡهَآ
from it
أُعِيدُواۡ
they (will) be returned
فِيهَا
in it
وَقِيلَ
and it (will) be said
لَهُمۡ
to them
ذُوقُواۡ
Taste
عَذَابَ
(the) punishment
(of) the Fire
which
كُنت ُم
you used (to)
[in it]
تُكَذِّبُو نَ
٢٠deny
But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
32:21
وَلَنُذِيقَنّ َهُم
And surely, We will let them taste
of
the punishment
the nearer
دُونَ
before
the punishment
the greater
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُو نَ
٢١return
And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment1 short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return [i.e., repent].
32:22
وَمَنۡ
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
(is) more unjust
مِمّ َن
than (he) who
is reminded
بِـَٔـايَـٰ تِ
of (the) Verses
رَبِّهِۦ
(of) his Lord
ثُمّ َ
then
أَعۡرَضَ
he turns away
عَنۡهَآۚ
from them
إِنّ َا
Indeed, We
مِنَ
from
the criminals
مُنت َقِمُو نَ
٢٢(will) take retribution
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution.
