1 Surahs36 Versesركوع 326
26:192
وَإِنّ َهُۥ
And indeed, it
لَتَنز ِيلُ
surely, is a Revelation
رَبِّ
(of the) Lord
(of) the worlds
And indeed, it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds.
26:193
نَزَلَ
Has brought it down
بِهِ
Has brought it down
the Spirit
[the] Trustworthy
The Trustworthy Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] has brought it down
26:194
عَلَىٰ
Upon
قَلۡبِكَ
your heart
لِتَكُونَ
that you may be
مِنَ
of
the warners
Upon your heart, [O Muḥammad] - that you may be of the warners -
26:195
بِلِسَانٍ
In language
عَرَبِىٍّ
Arabic
clear
In a clear Arabic language.
26:196
وَإِنّ َهُۥ
And indeed, it
لَفِى
surely, (is) in
زُبُرِ
(the) Scriptures
(of) the former (people)
And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples.
26:197
أَوَلَمۡ
Is it not
يَكُن
Is it not
to them
ءَايَةً
a sign
أَن
that
know it
عُلَمَـٰٓ ؤُاۡ
(the) scholars
بَنِىٓ
(of the) Children
إِسۡرٰ ٓءِي لَ
١٩٧(of) Israel
And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel?
26:198
وَلَوۡ
And if
نَزَّلۡنَـٰ هُ
We (had) revealed it
عَلَىٰ
to
بَعۡضِ
any
(of) the non-Arabs
And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners1
26:199
فَقَرَأَهُۥ
And he (had) recited it
عَلَيۡهِم
to them
not
كَانُواۡ
they would
بِهِۦ
in it
مُؤۡمِنِي نَ
١٩٩(be) believers
And he had recited it to them [perfectly],1 they would [still] not have been believers in it.
26:200
كَذٰ لِكَ
Thus
سَلَكۡنَـٰ هُ
We have inserted it
فِى
into
قُلُوبِ
(the) hearts
(of) the criminals
Thus have We inserted it [i.e., disbelief] into the hearts of the criminals.
26:201
لَا
Not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
they will believe
بِهِۦ
in it
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَرَوُاۡ
they see
the punishment
[the] painful
They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment.
26:202
فَيَأۡتِيَهُم
And it will come to them
suddenly
while they
لَا
(do) not
يَشۡعُرُو نَ
٢٠٢perceive
And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not.
26:203
فَيَقُولُواۡ
Then they will say
هَلۡ
Are
نَحۡنُ
we
مُنظ َرُو نَ
٢٠٣(to be) reprieved
And they will say, "May we be reprieved?"
26:204
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا
So is it for Our punishment
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُو نَ
٢٠٤they wish to hasten
So for Our punishment are they impatient?
26:205
أَفَرَءَيۡتَ
Then have you seen
إِن
if
We let them enjoy
سِنِي نَ
٢٠٥(for) years
Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years
26:206
ثُمّ َ
Then
جَا ٓءَهُم
comes to them
what
كَانُواۡ
they were
يُوعَدُو نَ
٢٠٦promised
And then there came to them that which they were promised?
26:207
مَآ
Not
أَغۡنَىٰ
(will) avail
عَنۡهُم
them
what
كَانُواۡ
enjoyment they were given
يُمَتَّعُو نَ
٢٠٧enjoyment they were given
They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided.
26:208
وَمَآ
And not
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
We destroyed
مِن
any
town
إِلَّا
but
لَهَا
it had
مُنذ ِرُو نَ
٢٠٨warners
And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners
26:209
ذِكۡرَىٰ
(To) remind
وَمَا
and not
كُنّ َا
We are
ظَـٰ لِمِي نَ
٢٠٩unjust
As a reminder; and never have We been unjust.
26:210
وَمَا
And not
تَنَزَّلَتۡ
have brought it down
بِهِ
have brought it down
the devils
And the devils have not brought it [i.e., the revelation] down.1
26:211
وَمَا
And not
يَنۢب َغِى
(it) suits
لَهُمۡ
[for] them
وَمَا
and not
يَسۡتَطِيعُو نَ
٢١١they are able
It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able.
26:212
إِنّ َهُمۡ
Indeed, they
عَنِ
from
the hearing
لَمَعۡزُولُو نَ
٢١٢(are) surely banished
Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed.1
26:213
فَلَا
So (do) not
تَدۡ عُ
invoke
مَعَ
with
Allah
إِلَـٰ هًا
god
ءَاخَرَ
another
فَتَكُونَ
lest you be
مِنَ
of
those punished
So do not invoke1 with Allāh another deity and [thus] be among the punished.
26:214
وَأَنذ ِرۡ
And warn
عَشِيرَتَكَ
your kindred
[the] closest
And warn, [O Muḥammad], your closest kindred.
26:215
وَٱ خۡفِضۡ
And lower
جَنَاحَكَ
your wing
لِمَنِ
to (those) who
follow you
مِنَ
of
the believers
And lower your wing [i.e., show kindness] to those who follow you of the believers.
26:216
فَإِنۡ
Then if
عَصَوۡكَ
they disobey you
فَقُلۡ
then say
إِنّ ِى
Indeed, I am
بَرِى ٓءٌ
innocent
of what
تَعۡمَلُو نَ
٢١٦you do
And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing."
26:217
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
And put (your) trust
عَلَى
in
the All-Mighty
the Most Merciful
And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
26:218
ٱلَّذِى
The One Who
يَرَٮٰ كَ
sees you
حِينَ
when
تَقُو مُ
٢١٨you stand up
Who sees you when you arise1
26:219
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ
And your movements
فِى
among
those who prostrate
And your movement among those who prostrate.1
26:220
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, He
هُوَ
[He]
(is) the All-Hearer
the All-Knower
Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
26:221
هَلۡ
Shall
أُنَبِّئُكُمۡ
I inform you
عَلَىٰ
upon
مَن
whom
descend
the devils
Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend?
26:222
تَنَزَّلُ
They descend
عَلَىٰ
upon
كُلِّ
every
أَفَّاكٍ
liar
أَثِي مٍ
٢٢٢sinful
They descend upon every sinful liar.
26:223
يُلۡقُونَ
They pass on
(what is) heard
وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
and most of them
كَـٰ ذِبُو نَ
٢٢٣(are) liars
They pass on what is heard,1 and most of them are liars.
26:224
وَٱ ل شُّعَرَا ٓءُ
And the poets
يَتَّبِعُهُمُ
follow them
the deviators
And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them;
26:225
أَلَمۡ
Do not
تَرَ
you see
أَنّ َهُمۡ
that they
فِى
in
كُلِّ
every
وَادٍ
valley
[they] roam
Do you not see that in every valley they roam1
26:226
وَأَنّ َهُمۡ
And that they
يَقُولُونَ
say
مَا
what
لَا
not
يَفۡعَلُو نَ
٢٢٦they do
And that they say what they do not do? -
26:227
إِلَّا
Except
those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
وَعَمِلُواۡ
and do
righteous deeds
وَذَكَرُواۡ
and remember
Allah
كَثِيرًا
much
and defend themselves
مِنۢ

after
مَا
after
ظُلِمُواۡۗ
they were wronged
وَسَيَعۡلَمُ
And will come to know
those who
ظَلَمُوٓ اۡ
have wronged
أَىَّ
(to) what
مُنق َلَبٍ
return
they will return
Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allāh often and defend [the Muslims]1 after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.
