Ruku 284

1 Surahs19 Versesركوع 284
21:94
فَمَن
Then whoever
يَعۡمَلۡ
does
مِنَ
[of]
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
[the] righteous deeds
وَهُوَ
while he
مُؤۡمِنٌ
(is) a believer
فَلَا
then not
كُفۡرَانَ
(will be) rejected
لِسَعۡيِهِۦ
[of] his effort
وَإِنَّا
And indeed, We
لَهُۥ
of it
كَـٰتِبُونَ
(are) Recorders
٩٤
So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort,1 and indeed We [i.e., Our angels], of it, are recorders.
21:95
وَحَرٰمٌ
And (there is) prohibition
عَلَىٰ
upon
قَرۡيَةٍ
a city
أَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهَآ
which We have destroyed
أَنَّهُمۡ
that they
لَا
not
يَرۡجِعُونَ
will return
٩٥
And it is prohibited to [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return1
21:96
حَتَّىٰٓ
Until
إِذَا
when
فُتِحَتۡ
has been opened
يَأۡجُوجُ
(for) the Yajuj
وَمَأۡجُوجُ
and Majuj
وَهُم
and they
مِّن
from
كُلِّ
every
حَدَبٍ
elevation
يَنسِلُونَ
descend
٩٦
Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend
21:97
وَٱقۡتَرَبَ
And has approached
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
the promise
ٱلۡحَقُّ
[the] true
فَإِذَا
then behold
هِىَ
[it]
شَـٰخِصَةٌ
(are) staring
أَبۡصَـٰرُ
(the) eyes
ٱلَّذِينَ
(of) those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieved
يَـٰوَيۡلَنَا
O woe to us
قَدۡ
Verily
كُنَّا
we had been
فِى
in
غَفۡلَةٍ
heedlessness
مِّنۡ
of
هَـٰذَا
this
بَلۡ
nay
كُنَّا
we were
ظَـٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
٩٧
And [when] the true promise [i.e., the resurrection] has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers."
21:98
إِنَّكُمۡ
Indeed, you
وَمَا
and what
تَعۡبُدُونَ
you worship
مِن
besides Allah
دُونِ
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
besides Allah
حَصَبُ
(are) firewood
جَهَنَّمَ
(of) Hell
أَنتُمۡ
You
لَهَا
to it
وٰرِدُونَ
will come
٩٨
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allāh are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.
21:99
لَوۡ
If
كَانَ
were
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ
these
ءَالِهَةً
gods
مَّا
not
وَرَدُوهَا‌ۖ
they (would) have come to it
وَكُلٌّ
And all
فِيهَا
therein
خَـٰلِدُونَ
will abide forever
٩٩
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein.
21:100
لَهُمۡ
For them
فِيهَا
therein
زَفِيرٌ
(is) sighing
وَهُمۡ
and they
فِيهَا
therein
لَا
not
يَسۡمَعُونَ
will hear
١٠٠
For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.
21:101
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those
سَبَقَتۡ
has gone forth
لَهُم
for them
مِّنَّا
from Us
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰٓ
the good
أُوۡلَـٰٓئِكَ
those
عَنۡهَا
from it
مُبۡعَدُونَ
(will be) removed far
١٠١
Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed.
21:102
لَا
Not
يَسۡمَعُونَ
they will hear
حَسِيسَهَا‌ۖ
(the) slightest sound of it
وَهُمۡ
and they
فِى
in
مَا
what
ٱشۡتَهَتۡ
desire
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
their souls
خَـٰلِدُونَ
will abide forever
١٠٢
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.
21:103
لَا
Not
يَحۡزُنُهُمُ
will grieve them
ٱلۡفَزَعُ
the terror
ٱلۡأَكۡبَرُ
[the] greatest
وَتَتَلَقَّـٰهُمُ
and will meet them
ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
the Angels
هَـٰذَا
This
يَوۡمُكُمُ
(is) your Day
ٱلَّذِى
which
كُنتُمۡ
you were
تُوعَدُونَ
promised
١٠٣
They will not be grieved by the greatest terror,1 and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" -
21:104
يَوۡمَ
(The) Day
نَطۡوِى
We will fold
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
the heaven
كَطَىِّ
like (the) folding
ٱلسِّجِلِّ
(of) a scroll
لِلۡكُتُبِ‌ۚ
for records
كَمَا
As
بَدَأۡنَآ
We began
أَوَّلَ
(the) first
خَلۡقٍ
creation
نُّعِيدُهُۥ‌ۚ
We will repeat it
وَعۡدًا
a promise
عَلَيۡنَآ‌ۚ
upon Us
إِنَّا
Indeed, We
كُنَّا
We are
فَـٰعِلِينَ
(the) Doers
١٠٤
The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.1
21:105
وَلَقَدۡ
And verily
كَتَبۡنَا
We have written
فِى
in
ٱلزَّبُورِ
the Scripture
مِنۢ
after
بَعۡدِ
after
ٱلذِّكۡرِ
the mention
أَنَّ
that
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
the earth
يَرِثُهَا
will inherit it
عِبَادِىَ
My slaves
ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ
the righteous
١٠٥
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms]1 after the [previous] mention2 that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.
21:106
إِنَّ
Indeed
فِى
in
هَـٰذَا
this
لَبَلَـٰغًا
surely is a Message
لِّقَوۡمٍ
for a people
عَـٰبِدِينَ
worshippers
١٠٦
Indeed, in this [Qur’ān] is notification for a worshipping people.
21:107
وَمَآ
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ
We have sent you
إِلَّا
but
رَحۡمَةً
(as) a mercy
لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ
for the worlds
١٠٧
And We have not sent you, [O Muḥammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.
21:108
قُلۡ
Say
إِنَّمَا
Only
يُوحَىٰٓ
it is revealed
إِلَىَّ
to me
أَنَّمَآ
that
إِلَـٰهُكُمۡ
your god
إِلَـٰهٌ
(is) God
وٰحِدٌ‌ۖ
One
فَهَلۡ
so will
أَنتُم
you
مُّسۡلِمُونَ
submit (to Him)
١٠٨
Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?"
21:109
فَإِن
But if
تَوَلَّوۡاۡ
they turn away
فَقُلۡ
then say
ءَاذَنتُكُمۡ
I (have) announced to you
عَلَىٰ
equally
سَوَآءٍ‌ۖ
equally
وَإِنۡ
And not
أَدۡرِىٓ
I know
أَقَرِيبٌ
whether is near
أَم
or
بَعِيدٌ
far
مَّا
what
تُوعَدُونَ
you are promised
١٠٩
But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally.1 And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.
21:110
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed, He
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
ٱلۡجَهۡرَ
the declared
مِنَ
[of]
ٱلۡقَوۡلِ
[the] speech
وَيَعۡلَمُ
and He knows
مَا
what
تَكۡتُمُونَ
you conceal
١١٠
Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal.
21:111
وَإِنۡ
And not
أَدۡرِى
I know
لَعَلَّهُۥ
perhaps it may be
فِتۡنَةٌ
a trial
لَّكُمۡ
for you
وَمَتَـٰعٌ
and an enjoyment
إِلَىٰ
for
حِينٍ
a time
١١١
And I know not; perhaps it1 is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time."
21:112
قَـٰلَ
He said
رَبِّ
My Lord
ٱحۡكُم
judge
بِٱلۡحَقِّ‌ۗ
in truth
وَرَبُّنَا
And our Lord
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
(is) the Most Gracious
ٱلۡمُسۡتَعَانُ
the One Whose help is sought
عَلَىٰ
against
مَا
what
تَصِفُونَ
you attribute
١١٢
[The Prophet (ﷺ)] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe."1
