15:45
إِنّ َ
Indeed
the righteous
فِى
(will be) in
جَنّ َـٰ تٍ
Gardens
and water springs
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs,
15:46
ٱدۡ خُلُوهَا
Enter it
بِسَلَـٰ مٍ
in peace
ءَامِنِي نَ
٤٦secure
[Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."
15:47
وَنَزَعۡنَا
And We (will) remove
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
صُدُورِهِم
their breasts
of
غِلٍّ
rancor
إِخۡوٰ نًا
(they will be) brothers
عَلَىٰ
on
سُرُرٍ
thrones
facing each other
And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment,1 [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.
15:48
لَا
Not
يَمَسُّهُمۡ
will touch them
فِيهَا
therein
نَصَبٌ
fatigue
and not
هُم
they
from it
بِمُخۡرَجِي نَ
٤٨will be removed
No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.
15:49
۞نَبِّئۡ
Inform
عِبَادِىٓ
My slaves
أَنّ ِىٓ
that I
أَنَا
I am
the Oft-Forgiving
the Most Merciful
[O Muḥammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful,
15:50
وَأَنّ َ
And that
عَذَابِى
My punishment
هُوَ
it
(is) the punishment
the most painful
And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.
15:51
وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ
And inform them
عَن
about
(the) guests
إِبۡ رٰ هِي مَ
٥١(of) Ibrahim
And inform them about the guests of Abraham,
15:52
إِذۡ
When
دَخَلُواۡ
they entered
عَلَيۡهِ
upon him
فَقَالُواۡ
and said
سَلَـٰ مًا
Peace
He said
إِنّ َا
Indeed, we
مِنك ُمۡ
(are) of you
وَجِلُو نَ
٥٢afraid
When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful [i.e., apprehensive] of you."
15:53
قَالُواۡ
They said
لَا
(Do) not
تَوۡجَلۡ
be afraid
إِنّ َا
indeed, we
نُبَشِّرُكَ
[we] bring glad tidings to you
بِغُلَـٰ مٍ
of a boy
عَلِي مٍ
٥٣learned
[The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."
15:54
قَالَ
He said
أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِى
Do you give me glad tidings
عَلَىٰٓ
Do you give me glad tidings
أَن
although
has overtaken me
old age
فَبِمَ
Then about what
تُبَشِّرُو نَ
٥٤you give glad tidings
He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?"
15:55
قَالُواۡ
They said
بَشَّرۡنَـٰ كَ
We give you glad tidings
بِٱ لۡحَقِّ
in truth
فَلَا
so (do) not
تَكُن
be
of
the despairing
They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."
15:56
قَالَ
He said
وَمَن
And who
despairs
مِن
of
(the) Mercy
رَبِّهِۦٓ
(of) his Lord
إِلَّا
except
those who are astray
He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?"
15:57
قَالَ
He said
فَمَا
Then what
خَطۡ بُكُمۡ
(is) your business
أَيُّهَا
O messengers
O messengers
[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"
15:58
قَالُوٓ اۡ
They said
إِنّ َآ
Indeed, we
أُرۡسِلۡنَآ
[we] have been sent
إِلَىٰ
to
قَوۡمٍ
a people
criminals
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
15:59
إِلَّآ
Except
ءَالَ
the family
لُوطٍ
of Lut
إِنّ َا
indeed, we
لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ
surely will save them
أَجۡ مَعِي نَ
٥٩all
Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all
15:60
إِلَّا
Except
his wife
قَدَّرۡنَآۙ
We have decreed
إِنّ َهَا
that she
لَمِنَ
(is) surely of
those who remain behind
Except his wife." We [i.e., Allāh] decreed that she is of those who remain behind.1
