1 Surahs13 Versesركوع 176
10:41
وَإِن
And if
they deny you
فَقُل
then say
لِّى
For me
عَمَلِى
(are) my deeds
وَلَكُمۡ
and for you
عَمَلُكُمۡۖ
(are) your deeds
أَنت ُم
You
(are) disassociated
مِمّ َآ
from what
أَعۡمَلُ
I do
وَأَنَاۡ
and I am
بَرِى ٓءٌ
disassociated
from what
تَعۡمَلُو نَ
٤١you do
And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."
10:42
وَمِنۡهُم
And among them
(are some) who
listen
إِلَيۡكَۚ
to you
أَفَأَنت َ
But (can) you
تُسۡمِعُ
cause the deaf to hear
cause the deaf to hear
وَلَوۡ
even though
كَانُواۡ
they [were]
لَا
(do) not
يَعۡقِلُو نَ
٤٢use reason
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear [i.e., benefit from this hearing], although they will not use reason?
10:43
وَمِنۡهُم
And among them
(are some) who
look
إِلَيۡكَۚ
at you
أَفَأَنت َ
But (can) you
تَهۡدِى
guide
the blind
وَلَوۡ
even though
كَانُواۡ
they [were]
لَا
(do) not
يُبۡ صِرُو نَ
٤٣see
And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see?
10:44
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
لَا
(does) not
يَظۡلِمُ
wrong
the people
شَيۡــًٔا
(in) anything
but
the people
أَنف ُسَهُمۡ
wrong themselves
يَظۡلِمُو نَ
٤٤wrong themselves
Indeed, Allāh does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.
10:45
وَيَوۡمَ
And the Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
He will gather them
كَأَن
as if
they had not remained
يَلۡبَثُوٓ اۡ
they had not remained
إِلَّا
except
سَاعَةً
an hour
of
the day
يَتَعَارَفُونَ
they will recognize each other
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
between them
قَدۡ
Certainly
خَسِرَ
(will have) lost
those who
كَذَّبُواۡ
denied
بِلِقَا ٓءِ
the meeting
(with) Allah
وَمَا
and not
كَانُواۡ
they were
مُهۡتَدِي نَ
٤٥the guided ones
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allāh and were not guided.
10:46
وَإِمّ َا
And whether
نُرِيَنّ َكَ
We show you
بَعۡضَ
some
(of) that which
نَعِدُهُمۡ
We promised them
أَوۡ
or
نَتَوَفَّيَنّ َكَ
We cause you to die
فَإِلَيۡنَا
then to Us
مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ
(is) their return
ثُمّ َ
then
Allah
شَهِيدٌ
(is) a Witness
عَلَىٰ
over
مَا
what
يَفۡعَلُو نَ
٤٦they do
And whether We show you some of what We promise them, [O Muḥammad], or We take you in death, to Us is their return; then, [either way], Allāh is a witness concerning what they are doing.
10:47
وَلِكُلِّ
And for every
أُمّ َةٍ
nation
(is) a Messenger
So when
جَا ٓءَ
comes
رَسُولُهُمۡ
their Messenger
قُضِىَ
it will be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
between them
in justice
وَهُمۡ
and they
لَا
(will) not
يُظۡلَمُو نَ
٤٧be wronged
And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes,1 it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.
10:48
وَيَقُولُونَ
And they say
مَتَىٰ
When
هَـٰ ذَا
(will) this
the promise (be fulfilled)
إِن
if
you are
صَـٰ دِقِي نَ
٤٨truthful
And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"
10:49
قُل
Say
لَّآ
Not
أَمۡلِكُ
I have power
لِنَفۡسِى
for myself
ضَرًّا
(for) any harm
and not
نَفۡعًا
(for) any profit
إِلَّا
except
مَا
what
شَا ٓءَ
Allah wills
Allah wills
لِكُلِّ
For every
أُمّ َةٍ
nation
أَجَلٌۚ
(is) a term
إِذَا
When
جَا ٓءَ
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
their term
فَلَا
then not
يَسۡتَــٔۡخِرُونَ
they remain behind
سَاعَةًۖ
an hour
and not
يَسۡتَقۡ دِمُو نَ
٤٩they can precede (it)
Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allāh should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."
10:50
قُلۡ
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
Do you see
إِنۡ
if
أَتَـٰ كُمۡ
comes to you
عَذَابُهُۥ
His punishment
بَيَـٰ تًا
(by) night
أَوۡ
or
نَهَارًا
(by) day
what (portion)
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُ
of it would (wish to) hasten
مِنۡهُ
of it would (wish to) hasten
the criminals
Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day - for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?"1
10:51
أَثُمّ َ
Is (it) then
إِذَا
when
مَا
when
وَقَعَ
(it had) occurred
ءَامَنت ُم
you (will) believe
in it
ءَا ٓلۡـَٔـٰ نَ
Now
وَقَدۡ
And certainly
كُنت ُم
you were
seeking to hasten it
تَسۡتَعۡجِلُو نَ
٥١seeking to hasten it
Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now?1 And you were [once] for it impatient.2
10:52
ثُمّ َ
Then
قِيلَ
it will be said
لِلَّذِينَ
to those who
ظَلَمُواۡ
wronged
ذُوقُواۡ
Taste
عَذَابَ
punishment
the everlasting
هَلۡ
Are you (being) recompensed
تُجۡ زَوۡنَ
Are you (being) recompensed
إِلَّا
except
بِمَا
for what
كُنت ُمۡ
you used (to)
تَكۡسِبُو نَ
٥٢earn
Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?"
10:53
۞وَيَسۡتَنۢب ِــُٔونَكَ
And they ask you to inform
أَحَقٌّ
Is it true
هُوَۖ
Is it true
قُلۡ
Say
إِى
Yes
وَرَبِّىٓ
by my Lord
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, it
لَحَقٌّۖ
(is) surely the truth
and not
أَنت ُم
you
(can) escape (it)
And they ask information of you, [O Muḥammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allāh]."
