1 Surahs8 Versesركوع 16
2:122
يَـٰبَنِىٓ
O Children
إِسۡرٰٓءِيلَ
(of) Israel
ٱذۡكُرُواۡ
Remember
نِعۡمَتِىَ
My Favor
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
أَنۡعَمۡتُ
I bestowed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
upon you
وَأَنِّى
and that I
فَضَّلۡتُكُمۡ
[I] preferred you
عَلَى
over
ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ
the worlds
١٢٢
O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.
2:123
وَٱتَّقُواۡ
And fear
يَوۡمًا
a day
لَّا
not
تَجۡزِى
will avail
نَفۡسٌ
a soul
عَن
(of)
نَّفۡسٍ
(another) soul
شَيۡــًٔا
anything
وَلَا
and not
يُقۡبَلُ
will be accepted
مِنۡهَا
from it
عَدۡلٌ
any compensation
وَلَا
and not
تَنفَعُهَا
will benefit it
شَفَـٰعَةٌ
any intercession
وَلَا
and not
هُمۡ
they
يُنصَرُونَ
will be helped
١٢٣
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul1 at all, and no compensation will be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be aided.
2:124
۞وَإِذِ
And when
ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ
tried
إِبۡرٰهِــۧمَ
Ibrahim
رَبُّهُۥ
his Lord
بِكَلِمَـٰتٍ
with words
فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ‌ۖ
and he fulfilled them
قَالَ
He said
إِنِّى
Indeed I
جَاعِلُكَ
(am) the One to make you
لِلنَّاسِ
for the mankind
إِمَامًا‌ۖ
a leader
قَالَ
He said
وَمِن
And from
ذُرِّيَّتِى‌ۖ
my offspring
قَالَ
He said
لَا
(Does) not
يَنَالُ
reach
عَهۡدِى
My Covenant
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
(to) the wrongdoers
١٢٤
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with words [i.e., commands] and he fulfilled them. [Allāh] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allāh] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."
2:125
وَإِذۡ
And when
جَعَلۡنَا
We made
ٱلۡبَيۡتَ
the House
مَثَابَةً
a place of return
لِّلنَّاسِ
for mankind
وَأَمۡنًا
and (a place of) security
وَٱتَّخِذُواۡ
and (said), "Take

[from]
مَّقَامِ
(the) standing place
إِبۡرٰهِــۧمَ
(of) Ibrahim
مُصَلًّى‌ۖ
(as) a place of prayer
وَعَهِدۡنَآ
And We made a covenant
إِلَىٰٓ
with
إِبۡرٰهِــۧمَ
Ibrahim
وَإِسۡمَـٰعِيلَ
and Ishmael
أَن
[that]
طَهِّرَا
[You both] purify
بَيۡتِىَ
My House
لِلطَّآئِفِينَ
for those who circumambulate
وَٱلۡعَـٰكِفِينَ
and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer
وَٱلرُّكَّعِ
and those who bow down
ٱلسُّجُودِ
and those who prostrate
١٢٥
And [mention] when We made the House [i.e., the Kaʿbah] a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform ṭawāf1 and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]."
2:126
وَإِذۡ
And when

make
هَـٰذَا
this
بَلَدًا
a city

secure
وَٱرۡزُقۡ
and provide
أَهۡلَهُۥ
its people
مِنَ
with
ٱلثَّمَرٰتِ
fruits
مَنۡ
(to) whoever
ءَامَنَ
believed
مِنۡهُم
from them
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
and the Day
ٱلۡأَخِرِ‌ۖ
the Last
قَالَ
He said
وَمَن
And whoever
كَفَرَ
disbelieved
فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ
[then] I will grant him enjoyment
قَلِيلاً
a little
ثُمَّ
then
أَضۡطَرُّهُۥٓ
I will force him
إِلَىٰ
to
عَذَابِ
(the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ‌ۖ
(of) the Fire
وَبِئۡسَ
and evil
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
(is) the destination
١٢٦
And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allāh and the Last Day." [Allāh] said, "And whoever disbelieves - I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination."
2:127

And when
