1 Surahs6 Versesركوع 140
7:152
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱتَّخَذُواۡ
took
ٱلۡعِجۡلَ
the calf
سَيَنَالُهُمۡ
will reach them
غَضَبٌ
wrath
مِّن
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
وَذِلَّةٌ
and humiliation
فِى
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا‌ۚ
(of) the world
وَكَذٰلِكَ
And thus
نَجۡزِى
We recompense
ٱلۡمُفۡتَرِينَ
the ones who invent (falsehood)
١٥٢
Indeed, those who took the calf [for worship] will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors [of falsehood].
7:153
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
عَمِلُواۡ
do
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔـاتِ
the evil deeds
ثُمَّ
then
تَابُواۡ
repented
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِهَا
after that
وَءَامَنُوٓاۡ
and believed
إِنَّ
indeed
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِهَا
after that
لَغَفُورٌ
(is) surely Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
Most Merciful
١٥٣
But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.
7:154
وَلَمَّا
And when
سَكَتَ
was calmed
عَن
from
مُّوسَى
Musa
ٱلۡغَضَبُ
the anger
أَخَذَ
he took (up)
ٱلۡأَلۡوَاحَ‌ۖ
the tablets
وَفِى
and in
نُسۡخَتِهَا
their inscription
هُدًى
(was) guidance
وَرَحۡمَةٌ
and mercy
لِّلَّذِينَ
for those who
هُمۡ
[they]
لِرَبِّهِمۡ
of their Lord
يَرۡهَبُونَ
(are) fearful
١٥٤
And when the anger subsided in Moses, he took up the tablets; and in their inscription was guidance and mercy for those who are fearful of their Lord.
7:155
وَٱخۡتَارَ
And chose
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
قَوۡمَهُۥ
(from) his people
سَبۡعِينَ
seventy
رَجُلاً
men
لِّمِيقَـٰتِنَا‌ۖ
for Our appointment
فَلَمَّآ
Then when
أَخَذَتۡهُمُ
seized them
ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ
the earthquake
قَالَ
he said
رَبِّ
O my Lord
لَوۡ
If
شِئۡتَ
you (had) willed
أَهۡلَكۡتَهُم
You (could) have destroyed them
مِّن
from
قَبۡلُ
before
وَإِيَّـٰىَ‌ۖ
and me
أَتُهۡلِكُنَا
Would You destroy us
بِمَا
for what
فَعَلَ
did
ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ
the foolish
مِنَّآ‌ۖ
among us
إِنۡ
Not
هِىَ
it (was)
إِلَّا
but
فِتۡنَتُكَ
Your trial
تُضِلُّ
You let go astray
بِهَا
by it
مَن
whom
تَشَآءُ
You will
وَتَهۡدِى
and You guide
مَن
whom
تَشَآءُ‌ۖ
You will
أَنتَ
You
وَلِيُّنَا
(are) our Protector
فَٱغۡفِرۡ
so forgive
لَنَا
us
وَٱرۡحَمۡنَا‌ۖ
and have mercy upon us
وَأَنتَ
and You
خَيۡرُ
(are) Best
ٱلۡغَـٰفِرِينَ
(of) Forgivers
١٥٥
And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment.1 And when the earthquake seized them,2 he said, "My Lord, if You had willed, You could have destroyed them before and me [as well]. Would You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is not but Your trial by which You send astray whom You will and guide whom You will. You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy upon us; and You are the best of forgivers.
7:156
۞وَٱكۡتُبۡ
And ordain
لَنَا
for us
فِى
in
هَـٰذِهِ
this
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
[the] world
حَسَنَةً
good
وَفِى
and in
ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ
the Hereafter
إِنَّا
Indeed, we
هُدۡنَآ
we have turned
إِلَيۡكَ‌ۚ
to You
قَالَ
He said
عَذَابِىٓ
My punishment
أُصِيبُ
I afflict
بِهِۦ
with it
مَنۡ
whom
أَشَآءُ‌ۖ
I will
وَرَحۡمَتِى
but My Mercy
وَسِعَتۡ
encompasses
كُلَّ
every
شَىۡءٍ‌ۚ
thing
فَسَأَكۡتُبُهَا
So I will ordain it
لِلَّذِينَ
for those who
يَتَّقُونَ
(are) righteous
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
zakah
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those who
هُم
[they]
بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَا
in Our Verses
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
they believe
١٥٦
And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allāh] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakāh and those who believe in Our verses-
7:157
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَتَّبِعُونَ
follow
ٱلرَّسُولَ
the Messenger
ٱلنَّبِىَّ
the Prophet
ٱلۡأُمِّىَّ
the unlettered
ٱلَّذِى
whom
يَجِدُونَهُۥ
they find him
مَكۡتُوبًا
written
عِندَهُمۡ
with them
فِى
in
ٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةِ
the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ
and the Injeel
يَأۡمُرُهُم
He commands them
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
to the right
وَيَنۡهَـٰهُمۡ
and forbids them
عَنِ
from
ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
the wrong
وَيُحِلُّ
and he makes lawful
لَهُمُ
for them
ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ
the pure things
وَيُحَرِّمُ
and makes unlawful
عَلَيۡهِمُ
for them
ٱلۡخَبَـٰٓئِثَ
the impure things
وَيَضَعُ
and he relieves
عَنۡهُمۡ
from them
إِصۡرَهُمۡ
their burden
وَٱلۡأَغۡلَـٰلَ
and the fetters
ٱلَّتِى
which
كَانَتۡ
were
عَلَيۡهِمۡ‌ۚ
upon them
فَٱلَّذِينَ
So those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
بِهِۦ
in him
وَعَزَّرُوهُ
and honor him
وَنَصَرُوهُ
and help him
وَٱتَّبَعُواۡ
and follow
ٱلنُّورَ
the light
ٱلَّذِىٓ
which
أُنزِلَ
has been sent down
مَعَهُۥٓ‌ۙ
with him
أُوۡلَـٰٓئِكَ
Those (are)
هُمُ
[they]
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
the successful ones
١٥٧
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and prohibits them from what is wrong and makes lawful for them what is good and forbids them from what is evil and relieves them of their burden1 and the shackles which were upon them.2 So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.
