1 Surahs6 Versesركوع 140
7:152
إِنّ َ
Indeed
those who
took
the calf
سَيَنَالُهُمۡ
will reach them
غَضَبٌ
wrath
from
their Lord
وَذِلَّةٌ
and humiliation
in
the life
(of) the world
وَكَذٰ لِكَ
And thus
نَجۡ زِى
We recompense
the ones who invent (falsehood)
Indeed, those who took the calf [for worship] will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors [of falsehood].
7:153
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those who
عَمِلُواۡ
do
the evil deeds
ثُمّ َ
then
تَابُواۡ
repented
مِنۢ
from
after that
وَءَامَنُوٓ اۡ
and believed
إِنّ َ
indeed
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
مِنۢ
from
after that
لَغَفُورٌ
(is) surely Oft-Forgiving
Most Merciful
But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.
7:154
وَلَمّ َا
And when
سَكَتَ
was calmed
عَن
from
Musa
the anger
أَخَذَ
he took (up)
the tablets
وَفِى
and in
نُسۡخَتِهَا
their inscription
هُدًى
(was) guidance
and mercy
for those who
هُمۡ
[they]
لِرَبِّهِمۡ
of their Lord
يَرۡهَبُو نَ
١٥٤(are) fearful
And when the anger subsided in Moses, he took up the tablets; and in their inscription was guidance and mercy for those who are fearful of their Lord.
7:155
وَٱ خۡتَارَ
And chose
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
قَوۡمَهُۥ
(from) his people
سَبۡ عِينَ
seventy
رَجُلاً
men
for Our appointment
فَلَمّ َآ
Then when
أَخَذَتۡهُمُ
seized them
the earthquake
قَالَ
he said
رَبِّ
O my Lord
لَوۡ
If
شِئۡتَ
you (had) willed
أَهۡلَكۡتَهُم
You (could) have destroyed them
from
before
وَإِيَّـٰ ىَۖ
and me
أَتُهۡلِكُنَا
Would You destroy us
بِمَا
for what
فَعَلَ
did
the foolish
مِنّ َآۖ
among us
إِنۡ
Not
هِىَ
it (was)
إِلَّا
but
فِتۡنَتُكَ
Your trial
تُضِلُّ
You let go astray
بِهَا
by it
مَن
whom
You will
وَتَهۡدِى
and You guide
مَن
whom
You will
أَنت َ
You
وَلِيُّنَا
(are) our Protector
فَٱ غۡفِرۡ
so forgive
لَنَا
us
وَٱ رۡحَمۡنَاۖ
and have mercy upon us
وَأَنت َ
and You
خَيۡرُ
(are) Best
(of) Forgivers
And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment.1 And when the earthquake seized them,2 he said, "My Lord, if You had willed, You could have destroyed them before and me [as well]. Would You destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? This is not but Your trial by which You send astray whom You will and guide whom You will. You are our Protector, so forgive us and have mercy upon us; and You are the best of forgivers.
7:156
۞وَٱ كۡتُبۡ
And ordain
لَنَا
for us
فِى
in
هَـٰ ذِهِ
this
[the] world
حَسَنَةً
good
and in
the Hereafter
إِنّ َا
Indeed, we
هُدۡ نَآ
we have turned
إِلَيۡكَۚ
to You
قَالَ
He said
عَذَابِىٓ
My punishment
أُصِيبُ
I afflict
بِهِۦ
with it
مَنۡ
whom
أَشَا ٓءُۖ
I will
وَرَحۡمَتِى
but My Mercy
وَسِعَتۡ
encompasses
كُلَّ
every
شَىۡءٍۚ
thing
So I will ordain it
لِلَّذِينَ
for those who
يَتَّقُونَ
(are) righteous
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
and give
zakah
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
and those who
هُم
[they]
in Our Verses
يُؤۡمِنُو نَ
١٥٦they believe
And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allāh] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakāh and those who believe in Our verses-
7:157
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَتَّبِعُونَ
follow
the Messenger
the Prophet
the unlettered
whom
يَجِدُونَهُۥ
they find him
مَكۡتُوبًا
written
عِند َهُمۡ
with them
فِى
in
the Taurat
وَٱ لۡإِنج ِيلِ
and the Injeel
يَأۡمُرُهُم
He commands them
to the right
وَيَنۡهَـٰ هُمۡ
and forbids them
عَنِ
from
the wrong
وَيُحِلُّ
and he makes lawful
لَهُمُ
for them
the pure things
وَيُحَرِّمُ
and makes unlawful
عَلَيۡهِمُ
for them
the impure things
وَيَضَعُ
and he relieves
عَنۡهُمۡ
from them
إِصۡرَهُمۡ
their burden
وَٱ لۡأَغۡلَـٰ لَ
and the fetters
which
كَانَتۡ
were
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
upon them
فَٱ لَّذِينَ
So those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
بِهِۦ
in him
وَعَزَّرُوهُ
and honor him
وَنَصَرُوهُ
and help him
وَٱ تَّبَعُواۡ
and follow
the light
which
أُنز ِلَ
has been sent down
مَعَهُۥٓۙ
with him
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those (are)
هُمُ
[they]
the successful ones
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and prohibits them from what is wrong and makes lawful for them what is good and forbids them from what is evil and relieves them of their burden1 and the shackles which were upon them.2 So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.
