Nay

I swear

by this

city

And you

(are) free (to dwell)

in this

city

And the begetter

and what

he begot

Certainly

We have created

man

(to be) in

hardship

Does he think

that

not

has power

over him

anyone

He will say

I have squandered

wealth

abundant

Does he think

that

not

sees him

anyone

Have not

We made

for him

two eyes

And a tongue

and two lips

And shown him

the two ways

But not

he has attempted

the steep path

And what

can make you know

what

the steep path (is)

(It is) freeing

a neck

Or

feeding

in

a day

of

severe hunger

An orphan

of

near relationship

Or

a needy person

in

misery

Then

he is

of

those who

believe

and enjoin (each other)

to patience

and enjoin (each other)

to compassion

Those

(are the) companions

(of) the right (hand)

But those who

disbelieve

in Our Verses

they

(are the) companions

(of) the left (hand)

Over them

(will be the) Fire

closed in

By the sun

and its brightness

And the moon

when

it follows it

And the day

when

it displays it

And the night

when

it covers it

And the heaven

and (He) Who

constructed it

And the earth

and by (He) Who

spread it

And (the) soul

and (He) Who

proportioned it

And He inspired it

(to distinguish) its wickedness

and its righteousness

Indeed

he succeeds

who

purifies it

And indeed

he fails

who

buries it

Denied

Thamud

by their transgression

When

(was) sent forth

(the) most wicked of them

But said

to them

(the) Messenger

(of) Allah

(It is the) she-camel

(of) Allah

and her drink

But they denied him

and they hamstrung her

So destroyed

them

their Lord

for their sin

and leveled them

And not

He fears

its consequences

By the night

when

it covers

And the day

when

it shines in brightness

And He Who

created

the male

and the female

Indeed

your efforts

(are) surely diverse

Then as for

(him) who

gives

and fears

And believes

in the best

Then We will ease him

towards [the] ease

But as for

(him) who

withholds

and considers himself free from need

And denies

the best

Then We will ease him

towards [the] difficulty

And not

will avail

him

his wealth

when

he falls

Indeed

upon Us

(is) the guidance

And indeed

for Us

(is) the Hereafter

and the first (life)

So I warn you

(of) a Fire

blazing

Not

will burn (in) it

except

the most wretched

The one who

denied

and turned away

But will be removed from it

the righteous

The one who

gives

his wealth

(to) purify himself

And not

for anyone

with him

any

favor

to be recompensed

Except

seeking

(the) Countenance

(of) his Lord

the Most High

And soon, surely

he will be pleased

By the morning brightness

And the night

when

it covers with darkness

Not

has forsaken you

your Lord

and not

He is displeased

And surely the Hereafter

(is) better

for you

than

the first

And soon

will give you

your Lord

then you will be satisfied

Did not

He find you

an orphan

and give shelter

And He found you

lost

so He guided

And He found you

in need

so He made self-sufficient

So as for

the orphan

then (do) not

oppress

And as for

one who asks

then (do) not

repel

But as for

(the) Favor

(of) your Lord

narrate
