(is) the praise
وَهُوَ
And He
عَلَىٰ
(is) on
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
All-Powerful
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allāh.1 To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent.
64:2
هُوَ
He
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَكُمۡ
created you
فَمِنك ُمۡ
and among you
كَافِرٌ
(is) a disbeliever
and among you
(is) a believer
And Allah
بِمَا
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
بَصِي رٌ
٢(is) All-Seer
It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allāh, of what you do, is Seeing.
64:3
خَلَقَ
He created
the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضَ
and the earth
بِٱ لۡحَقِّ
with truth
وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ
and He formed you
فَأَحۡسَنَ
and made good
صُوَرَكُمۡۖ
your forms
وَإِلَيۡهِ
and to Him
(is) the final return
He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination.
64:4
يَعۡلَمُ
He knows
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِ
and the earth
وَيَعۡلَمُ
and He knows
مَا
what
تُسِرُّونَ
you conceal
وَمَا
and what
تُعۡلِنُونَۚ
you declare
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
(is) All-Knowing
of what
(is in) the breasts
He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allāh is Knowing of that within the breasts.
64:5
أَلَمۡ
Has not
يَأۡتِكُمۡ
come to you
نَبَؤُاۡ
(the) news
(of) those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieved
مِن
from
before
فَذَاقُواۡ
So they tasted

أَمۡرِهِمۡ
(of) their affair
وَلَهُمۡ
and for them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
أَلِي مٌ
٥painful
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.
64:6
ذٰ لِكَ
That
بِأَنّ َهُۥ
(is) because
كَانَت
had
تَّأۡتِيهِمۡ

رُسُلُهُم
their Messengers
with clear proofs
فَقَالُوٓ اۡ
but they said
أَبَشَرٌ
Shall human beings
guide us
فَكَفَرُواۡ
So they disbelieved
وَتَوَلَّواۡۚ
and turned away

And can do without them
Allah
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
غَنِىٌّ
(is) Self-sufficient
حَمِي د ٌ
٦Praiseworthy
That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allāh dispensed [with them]; and Allāh is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
64:7

Claim
those who

قُلۡ
Say
بَلَىٰ
Yes
وَرَبِّى
by my Lord
لَتُبۡ عَثُنّ َ

يَسِي رٌ
٧(is) easy
Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allāh, is easy."

أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
those
أَصۡحَـٰ بُ
(are the) companions
(of) the Fire
خَـٰ لِدِينَ
abiding forever
فِيهَاۖ
therein
وَبِئۡسَ
And wretched is

No disaster strikes except by permission of Allāh. And whoever believes in Allāh - He will guide his heart. And Allāh is Knowing of all things.
64:12
وَأَطِيعُواۡ
So obey
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواۡ

so beware of them
