By the fig

and the olive

And (the) Mount

Sinai

And this

[the] city

[the] secure

Indeed

We created

man

in

(the) best

mould

Then

We returned him

(to the) lowest

(of the) low

Except

those who

believe

and do

righteous deeds

then for them

(is a) reward

never

ending

Then what

causes you to deny

after (this)

the judgment

Is not

Allah

(the) Most Just

(of) the Judges

Read

in (the) name

(of) your Lord

the One Who

created

He created

man

from

a clinging substance

Read

and your Lord

(is) the Most Generous

The One Who

taught

by the pen

Taught

man

what

not

he knew

Nay

Indeed

man

surely transgresses

That

he sees himself

self-sufficient

Indeed

to

your Lord

(is) the return

Have you seen

the one who

forbids

A slave

when

he prays

Have you seen

if

he is

upon

[the] guidance

Or

he enjoins

[of the] righteousness

Have you seen

if

he denies

and turns away

Does not

he know

that

Allah

sees

Nay

If

not

he desists

surely We will drag him

by the forelock

A forelock

lying

sinful

Then let him call

his associates

We will call

the Angels of Hell

Nay

(Do) not

obey him

But prostrate

and draw near (to Allah)
