Back to Juz Indexي َقۡ نُتۡن ُّؤۡتِهَآ ك َرِيمًا٣١ٱ ل نّ َبِىِّم ِّنَٱ ل نّ ِسَا ٓءِۚٱ تَّقَيۡتُنّ َٱ لَّذِىو َقُلۡنَم َّعۡرُوفًا٣٢ٱ لۡجَـٰ هِلِيَّةِٱ لۡأُولَىٰۖٱ ل صَّلَو ٰ ةَٱ ل زَّكَو ٰ ةَٱ للَّهَٱ للَّهُٱ ل رِّجۡ سَٱ لۡبَيۡتِٱ للَّهِٱ للَّهَٱ لۡمُسۡلِمِينَٱ للَّهَو َٱ ل ذّٰ ٰ ٱ للَّهُم َّغۡفِرَةً و َأَجۡ رًاو َلَاٱ للَّهُي َكُونَٱ لۡخِيَرَةُي َعۡصِٱ للَّهَم ُّبِينًا٣٦ٱ للَّهُٱ للَّهَٱ للَّهُٱ ل نّ َاسَت َخۡشَـٰ هُۖم ِّنۡهَاز َوَّجۡ نَـٰ كَهَاٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَف ِىٓ و َكَانَٱ للَّهِٱ ل نّ َبِىِّف ِيمَاٱ للَّهُٱ للَّهِٱ لَّذِينَق َبۡ لُۚٱ للَّهِم َّقۡ دُورًا٣٨ٱ للَّهِٱ للَّهَۗم ِّن ر ِّجَالِكُمۡر َّسُولَٱ للَّهِٱ ل نّ َبِيِّــۧ نَۗٱ للَّهُٱ لَّذِينَٱ ذۡكُرُواۡ ٱ للَّهَك َثِيرًا٤١و َأَصِيلاً٤٢ٱ لَّذِىم ِّنَٱ ل ظُّلُمَـٰ تِٱ ل نّ ُورِۚو َأَعَدَّك َرِيمًا٤٤ٱ ل نّ َبِىُّو َمُبَشِّرًا و َنَذِيرًا٤٥ٱ للَّهِم ُّنِيرًا٤٦ٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَم ِّنَٱ للَّهِك َبِيرًا٤٧ٱ لۡكَـٰ فِرِينَٱ للَّهِۚٱ لَّذِينَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰ تِق َبۡ لِت َمَسُّوهُنّ َت َعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖج َمِيلاً٤٩ٱ ل نّ َبِىُّٱ لَّـٰ تِىٓ ٱ للَّهُٱ لَّـٰ تِىم ُّؤۡمِنَةًو َهَبَتۡٱ ل نّ َبِىُّي َسۡتَنك ِحَهَال َّكَد ُونِٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۗو َكَانَٱ للَّهُر َّحِيمًا٥٠ت َشَا ٓءُت َشَا ٓءُۖٱ بۡ تَغَيۡتَت َقَرَّٱ للَّهُٱ ل نّ ِسَا ٓءُب َعۡدُت َبَدَّلَو َلَوۡٱ للَّهُر َّقِيبًا٥٢ٱ لَّذِينَٱ ل نّ َبِىِّي ُؤۡذَنَٱ ل نّ َبِىَّٱ لۡحَقِّۚف َسۡــَٔلُوهُنّ َو َرَا ٓءِذ ٰ ت ُؤۡذُواۡ ٱ للَّهِت َنك ِحُوٓ اۡ ب َعۡدِهِۦٓ ٱ للَّهِت ُبۡ دُواۡ ٱ للَّهَٱ للَّهَۚٱ للَّهَش َهِيدًا٥٥ٱ للَّهَٱ ل نّ َبِىِّۚٱ لَّذِينَٱ لَّذِينَٱ للَّهَٱ للَّهُٱ ل دُّنۡيَام ُّهِينًا٥٧ٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَٱ كۡتَسَبُواۡ ٱ حۡتَمَلُواۡ و َإِثۡمًا م ُّبِينًا٥٨ٱ ل نّ َبِىُّٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَج َلَـٰ بِيبِهِنّ َۚي ُعۡرَفۡنَٱ للَّهُر َّحِيمًا٥٩ل َّمۡٱ لۡمُنَـٰ فِقُونَم َّرَضٌ و َٱ لۡمُرۡجِفُونَٱ لۡمَدِينَةِٱ للَّهِٱ لَّذِينَق َبۡ لُۖت َجِدَٱ للَّهِٱ ل نّ َاسُٱ ل سَّاعَةِۖٱ للَّهِۚٱ ل سَّاعَةَٱ للَّهَٱ لۡكَـٰ فِرِينَل َّاو َلَاٱ ل نّ َارِٱ للَّهَٱ ل رَّسُولَاۡ٦٦ٱ ل سَّبِيلَاۡ٦٧ٱ لۡعَذَابِك َبِيرًا٦٨ٱ لَّذِينَٱ للَّهُٱ للَّهِٱ لَّذِينَٱ تَّقُواۡ ٱ للَّهَس َدِيدًا٧٠ي ُطِعِٱ للَّهَٱ لۡأَمَانَةَٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ي َحۡمِلۡنَهَاٱ لۡإِنس َـٰ نُۖج َهُولاً٧٢ٱ للَّهُٱ لۡمُنَـٰ فِقِينَٱ للَّهُٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَٱ للَّهُر َّحِيمَۢا٧٣ٱ لَّذِىٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ٱ لۡأَرۡضِٱ لۡحَمۡدُٱ لۡأَخِرَةِۚٱ لۡحَكِيمُٱ لۡخَبِي رُ١ٱ لۡأَرۡضِٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِٱ ل رَّحِيمُٱ لۡغَفُو رُ٢ٱ لَّذِينَٱ ل سَّاعَةُۖٱ لۡغَيۡبِۖف ِىٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ٱ لۡأَرۡضِذ ٰ م ُّبِي نٍ٣ٱ لَّذِينَٱ ل صَّـٰ لِحَـٰ تِۚم َّغۡفِرَةٌ و َرِزۡقٌ ك َرِي مٌ٤م ِّن ر ِّجۡ زٍٱ لَّذِينَٱ لۡعِلۡمَٱ لَّذِىٓ ر َّبِّكَٱ لۡحَقَّٱ لۡعَزِيزِٱ لۡحَمِي د ِ٦ٱ لَّذِينَي ُنَبِّئُكُمۡج َدِي د ٍ٧ٱ للَّهِب ِهِۦ ب َلِٱ لَّذِينَٱ لۡعَذَابِٱ لۡبَعِي د ِ٨م ِّنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِن َّشَأۡٱ لۡأَرۡضَم ِّنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِۚل ِّكُلِّم ُّنِي ب ٍ٩ي َـٰ جِبَالُٱ لۡحَدِي د َ١٠ٱ عۡمَلۡو َقَدِّرۡٱ ل سَّرۡدِۖٱ ل رِّيحَو َرَوَاحُهَاو َأَسَلۡنَاٱ لۡقِطۡ رِۖٱ لۡجِنّ ِي َعۡمَلُي َزِغۡٱ ل سَّعِي رِ١٢م َّحَـٰ رِيبَك َٱ لۡجَوَابِر َّاسِيَـٰ تٍۚٱ عۡمَلُوٓ اۡ و َقَلِيلٌ م ِّنۡٱ ل شَّكُو رُ١٣ٱ لۡمَوۡتَٱ لۡأَرۡضِٱ لۡجِنّ ُل َّوۡٱ لۡغَيۡبَٱ لۡعَذَابِٱ لۡمُهِي نِ١٤ف ِىج َنّ َتَانِي َمِينٍ و َشِمَالٍۖ ك ُلُواۡ ر ِّزۡقِط َيِّبَةٌ و َرَبٌّٱ لۡعَرِمِب ِجَنّ َتَيۡهِمۡو َأَثۡلٍ و َشَىۡءٍ م ِّن س ِدۡ رٍ ق َلِي لٍ١٦ب ِمَاٱ لۡكَفُو رَ١٧ٱ لۡقُرَىٱ لَّتِىظ َـٰ هِرَةً و َقَدَّرۡنَاٱ ل سَّيۡرَۖل ِّكُلِّش َكُو رٍ١٩م ِّنَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِي نَ٢٠م ِّن س ُلۡطَـٰ نٍي ُؤۡمِنُو َرَبُّكَٱ دۡ عُواۡ ٱ لَّذِينَم ِّن د ُونِٱ للَّهِۖف ِىٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ٱ لۡأَرۡضِش ِرۡكٍ و َمَام ِّن ظ َهِي رٍ٢٢ٱ ل شَّفَـٰ عَةُق ُلُوبِهِمۡٱ لۡحَقَّۖٱ لۡعَلِىُّٱ لۡكَبِي رُ٢٣ي َرۡزُقُكُم م ِّنَٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ٱ للَّهُۖم ُّبِي نٍ٢٤ٱ لۡفَتَّاحُٱ لۡعَلِي مُ٢٦ٱ لَّذِينَب ِهِۦ ٱ للَّهُٱ لۡعَزِيزُٱ لۡحَكِي مُ٢٧ل ِّلنّ َاسِو َنَذِيرًا و َلَـٰ كِنّ َٱ ل نّ َاسِٱ لۡوَعۡدُك ُنت ُمۡم ِّيعَادُل َّاو َلَاٱ لَّذِينَن ُّؤۡمِنَٱ لۡقُرۡءَانِٱ ل ظَّـٰ لِمُونَٱ لۡقَوۡلَٱ لَّذِينَٱ سۡتُضۡعِفُواۡ ٱ سۡتَكۡبَرُواۡ ٱ لَّذِينَٱ سۡتَكۡبَرُواۡ ٱ سۡتُضۡعِفُوٓ اۡ ٱ لۡهُدَىٰب َلۡم ُّجۡ رِمِي نَ٣٢ٱ لَّذِينَٱ سۡتُضۡعِفُواۡ ٱ سۡتَكۡبَرُواۡ ٱ لَّيۡلِن َّكۡفُرَو َأَسَرُّواۡ ٱ ل نّ َدَامَةَٱ لۡعَذَابَٱ لۡأَغۡلَـٰ لَٱ لَّذِينَم ِّن ن َّذِيرٍب ِهِۦ و َأَوۡلَـٰ دًا و َمَاٱ ل رِّزۡقَي َشَا ٓءُٱ ل نّ َاسِب ِٱ لَّتِىف َأُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَٱ ل ضِّعۡفِٱ لۡغُرُفَـٰ تِٱ لۡعَذَابِٱ ل رِّزۡقَي َشَا ٓءُم ِّن ش َىۡءٍ ف َهُوَٱ ل رّٰ ِي نَ٣٩ث ُمّ َد ُونِهِمۖ ب َلۡٱ لۡجِنّ َۖب ِهِم م ُّؤۡمِنُو نَ٤١ن َّفۡعًا و َلَاو َنَقُولُٱ ل نّ َارِٱ لَّتِىب ِهَاق َالُواۡ ي ُرِيدُي َصُدَّكُمۡم ُّفۡتَرًىۚ و َقَالَٱ لَّذِينَم ُّبِي نٌ٤٣م ِّن ك ُتُبٍ ي َدۡ رُسُونَهَاۖن َّذِي رٍ٤٤ٱ لَّذِينَق َبۡ لِهِمۡب ِوٰ ت َقُومُواۡ م ِّن ج ِنّ َةٍۚل َّكُم ب َيۡنَش َدِي د ٍ٤٦م ِّنۡف َهُوَٱ للَّهِۖش َهِي د ٌ٤٧ٱ لۡغُيُو ب ِ٤٨ٱ لۡحَقُّٱ لۡبَـٰ طِلُض َلَلۡتُٱ هۡتَدَيۡتُق َرِي ب ٌ٥٠م َّكَانٍ ق َرِي ب ٍ٥١ٱ ل تَّنَاوُشُم َّكَانِۭ ب َعِي د ٍ٥٢ق َبۡ لُۖم َّكَانِۭ ب َعِي د ٍ٥٣م ِّن ق َبۡ لُۚم ُّرِي ب ِۭ٥٤ٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ٱ لۡمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَةِم َّثۡنَىٰٱ لۡخَلۡقِٱ للَّهَق َدِي رٌ١ٱ للَّهُر َّحۡمَةٍ ف َلَاب َعۡدِهِۚۦ ٱ لۡعَزِيزُٱ لۡحَكِي مُ٢ٱ ل نّ َاسُٱ ذۡكُرُواۡ ٱ للَّهِٱ للَّهِم ِّنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِي ُكَذِّبُوكَم ِّن ق َبۡ لِكَۚٱ للَّهِٱ لۡأُمُو رُ٤ٱ ل نّ َاسُٱ للَّهِف َلَاٱ لۡحَيَو ٰ ةُٱ ل دُّنۡيَاۖب ِٱ للَّهِٱ لۡغَرُو رُ٥ٱ ل شَّيۡطَـٰ نَف َٱ تَّخِذُوهُٱ ل سَّعِي رِ٦ش َدِيدٌۖ و َٱ لَّذِينَٱ ل صَّـٰ لِحَـٰ تِم َّغۡفِرَةٌ و َأَجۡ رٌ ك َبِي رٌ٧ز ُيِّنَف َإِنّ َٱ للَّهَي َشَا ٓءُي َشَا ٓءُۖٱ للَّهَب ِمَاٱ لَّذِىٓ ٱ ل رِّيَـٰ حَف َسُقۡ نَـٰ هُم َّيِّتٍ ف َأَحۡيَيۡنَاٱ لۡأَرۡضَٱ ل نّ ُشُو رُ٩ك َانَٱ لۡعِزَّةَٱ لۡعِزَّةُٱ لۡكَلِمُٱ ل طَّيِّبُٱ ل صَّـٰ لِحُٱ ل سَّيِّـَٔـاتِش َدِيدٌۖ و َمَكۡرُم ِّن ت ُرَابٍ ث ُمّ َن ُّطۡ فَةٍ ث ُمّ َو َمَام ُّعَمّ َرٍ و َلَاٱ للَّهِٱ لۡبَحۡرَانِف ُرَاتٌ س َا ٓئِغٌ ش َرَابُهُۥ و َمِن ك ُلٍّ ت َأۡكُلُونَط َرِيًّا و َتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَت َلۡبَسُونَهَاۖٱ لۡفُلۡكَف َضۡلِهِۦ ٱ لَّيۡلَٱ ل نّ َهَارِٱ ل نّ َهَارَٱ لَّيۡلِٱ ل شَّمۡسَي َجۡ رِىم ُّسَمًّىۚ ذ ٰ ٱ للَّهُٱ لۡمُلۡكُۚد ُونِهِۦ ق ِطۡ مِي رٍ١٣ت َدۡ عُوهُمۡٱ سۡتَجَابُواۡ ٱ لۡقِيَـٰ مَةِٱ ل نّ َاسُٱ لۡفُقَرَا ٓءُٱ للَّهِۖٱ لۡغَنِىُّٱ لۡحَمِي د ُ١٥ي َشَأۡج َدِي د ٍ١٦ٱ للَّهِو ِزۡرَت َدۡ عُو َلَوۡٱ لَّذِينَب ِٱ لۡغَيۡبِٱ ل صَّلَو ٰ ةَۚت َزَكَّىٰٱ للَّهِٱ لۡمَصِي رُ١٨ٱ لۡأَعۡمَىٰٱ ل ظُّلُمَـٰ تُٱ ل نّ ُو رُ٢٠ٱ ل ظِّلُّٱ لۡحَرُو رُ٢١ٱ لۡأَحۡيَا ٓءُٱ لۡأَمۡوٰ ٱ للَّهَي َشَا ٓءُۖم َّن ف ِىٱ لۡقُبُو رِ٢٢و َنَذِيرًاۚ و َإِن م ِّنۡي ُكَذِّبُوكَٱ لَّذِينَق َبۡ لِهِمۡب ِٱ لۡبَيِّنَـٰ تِٱ لۡمُنِي رِ٢٥ٱ لَّذِينَٱ للَّهَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِف َأَخۡرَجۡ نَام ُّخۡتَلِفًاٱ لۡجِبَالِب ِيضٌ و َحُمۡرٌ م ُّخۡتَلِفٌٱ ل نّ َاسِٱ للَّهَٱ لۡعُلَمَـٰٓ ؤُاۡ ۗٱ للَّهَٱ لَّذِينَٱ للَّهِٱ ل صَّلَو ٰ ةَو َعَلَانِيَةً ي َرۡجُونَل َّن ت َبُو رَ٢٩م ِّن ف َضۡلِهِۚۦٓ ش َكُو رٌ٣٠ٱ لۡكِتَـٰ بِٱ لۡحَقُّل ِّمَاٱ للَّهَب َصِي رٌ٣١ٱ لۡكِتَـٰ بَٱ لَّذِينَٱ صۡطَفَيۡنَال ِّنَفۡسِهِۦ م ُّقۡ تَصِدٌ و َمِنۡهُمۡب ِٱ لۡخَيۡرٰ ٱ للَّهِۚٱ لۡفَضۡلُٱ لۡكَبِي رُ٣٢ي َدۡ خُلُونَهَاذ َهَبٍ و َلُؤۡلُؤًاۖ و َلِبَاسُهُمۡٱ لۡحَمۡدُٱ لَّذِىٓ ٱ لۡحَزَنَۖش َكُو رٌ٣٤ٱ لۡمُقَامَةِف َضۡلِهِۦ و َلَام ِّنۡٱ لَّذِىم َّات َذَكَّرَٱ ل نّ َذِيرُۖن َّصِي رٍ٣٧ٱ للَّهَٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ب ِذَاتِٱ ل صُّدُو رِ٣٨ٱ لَّذِىٱ لۡأَرۡضِۚك َفَرَٱ لۡكَـٰ فِرِينَو َلَاٱ لۡكَـٰ فِرِينَٱ لَّذِينَد ُونِٱ للَّهِٱ لۡأَرۡضِف ِىٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ف َهُمۡم ِّنۡهُۚي َعِدُٱ ل ظَّـٰ لِمُونَب َعۡضًاٱ للَّهَٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ت َزُولَاۚز َالَتَآ م ِّنۢ ب َعۡدِهِۚۦٓ ج َا ٓءَهُمۡل َّيَكُونُنّ َٱ لۡأُمَمِۖم َّاف ِىٱ لۡأَرۡضِٱ ل سَّيِّىِٕۚٱ لۡمَكۡرُٱ ل سَّيِّئُٱ لۡأَوَّلِينَۚت َجِدَٱ للَّهِو َلَن ت َجِدَٱ للَّهِٱ لۡأَرۡضِٱ لَّذِينَق َبۡ لِهِمۡو َمَاٱ للَّهُش َىۡءٍ ف ِىٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وٰ ٱ لۡأَرۡضِۚق َدِيرًا٤٤ٱ للَّهُٱ ل نّ َاسَد َا ٓبَّةٍ و َلَـٰ كِن ي ُؤَخِّرُهُمۡم ُّسَمًّىۖ ف َإِذَاٱ للَّهَٱ لۡحَكِي مِ٢ٱ لۡمُرۡسَلِي نَ٣م ُّسۡتَقِي مٍ٤ٱ لۡعَزِيزِٱ ل رَّحِي مِ٥م َّآ ٱ لۡقَوۡلُف َهِىَٱ لۡأَذۡقَانِم ُّقۡ مَحُو نَ٨ب َيۡنِو َمِنۡف َأَغۡشَيۡنَـٰ هُمۡٱ تَّبَعَٱ ل ذِّكۡرَٱ ل رَّحۡمَـٰ نَو َأَجۡ رٍ ك َرِي مٍ١١ٱ لۡمَوۡتَىٰم ُّبِي نٍ١٢م َّثَلاًٱ لۡقَرۡيَةِٱ لۡمُرۡسَلُو نَ١٣ٱ ثۡنَيۡنِف َقَالُوٓ اۡ م ُّرۡسَلُو نَ١٤م ِّثۡلُنَاٱ ل رَّحۡمَـٰ نُش َىۡءٍٱ لۡبَلَـٰ غُٱ لۡمُبِي نُ١٧ل َّمۡم ِّنّ َام َّعَكُمۡۚذ ُكِّرۡتُمۚ ب َلۡم ُّسۡرِفُو نَ١٩ٱ لۡمَدِينَةِي َسۡعَىٰٱ تَّبِعُواۡ ٱ لۡمُرۡسَلِي نَ٢٠ل َّاو َهُم م ُّهۡتَدُو نَ٢١ٱ لَّذِىد ُونِهِۦٓ ي ُرِدۡ نِٱ ل رَّحۡمَـٰ نُل َّاو َلَال َّفِىم ُّبِي نٍ٢٤ٱ دۡ خُلِٱ لۡجَنّ َةَۖٱ لۡمُكۡرَمِي نَ٢٧

4 Surahs169 Versesجزء 22
33:31
۞وَمَن
And whoever
is obedient
مِنك ُنّ َ
among you
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
and His Messenger
وَتَعۡمَلۡ
and does
صَـٰ لِحًا
righteousness
We will give her
أَجۡ رَهَا
her reward
مَرَّتَيۡنِ
twice
وَأَعۡتَدۡ نَا
and We have prepared
لَهَا
for her
رِزۡقًا
a provision
noble
And whoever of you devoutly obeys Allāh and His Messenger and does righteousness - We will give her her reward twice; and We have prepared for her a noble provision.
33:32
يَـٰ نِسَا ٓءَ
O wives
(of) the Prophet
لَسۡتُنّ َ
You are not
كَأَحَدٍ
like anyone
among
the women
إِنِ
If
you fear (Allah)
فَلَا
then (do) not
تَخۡضَعۡنَ
be soft
بِٱ لۡقَوۡلِ
in speech
فَيَطۡ مَعَ
lest should be moved with desire
he who
فِى
in
قَلۡبِهِۦ
his heart
مَرَضٌ
(is) a disease
but say
قَوۡلاً
a word
appropriate
O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allāh, then do not be soft in speech [to men],1 lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech.
33:33
وَقَرۡنَ
And stay
فِى
in
بُيُوتِكُنّ َ
your houses
وَلَا
and (do) not
تَبَرَّجۡ نَ
display yourselves
تَبَرُّجَ
(as was the) display
(of the times of) ignorance
the former
وَأَقِمۡنَ
And establish
the prayer
وَءَاتِينَ
and give
zakah
وَأَطِعۡنَ
and obey
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۚۥٓ
and His Messenger
إِنّ َمَا
Only
يُرِيدُ
Allah wishes
Allah wishes
لِيُذۡهِبَ
to remove
عَنك ُمُ
from you
the impurity
أَهۡلَ
(O) People
(of) the House
وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ
And to purify you
تَطۡ هِيرًا
٣٣(with thorough) purification
And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakāh and obey Allāh and His Messenger. Allāh intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.
33:34
وَٱ ذۡكُرۡنَ
And remember
مَا
what
يُتۡلَىٰ
is recited
فِى
in
بُيُوتِكُنّ َ
your houses
مِنۡ
of
ءَايَـٰ تِ
(the) Verses
(of) Allah
وَٱ لۡحِكۡمَةِۚ
and the wisdom
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
كَانَ
is
لَطِيفًا
All-Subtle
خَبِيرًا
٣٤All-Aware
And remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allāh and wisdom.1 Indeed, Allāh is ever Subtle2 and Aware.
33:35
إِنّ َ
Indeed
the Muslim men
وَٱ لۡمُسۡلِمَـٰ تِ
and the Muslim women
وَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
and the believing men
وَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰ تِ
and the believing women
وَٱ لۡقَـٰ نِتِينَ
and the obedient men
وَٱ لۡقَـٰ نِتَـٰ تِ
and the obedient women
وَٱ ل صَّـٰ دِقِينَ
and the truthful men
وَٱ ل صَّـٰ دِقَـٰ تِ
and the truthful women
وَٱ ل صَّـٰ بِرِينَ
and the patient men
وَٱ ل صَّـٰ بِرٰ
and the patient women
وَٱ لۡخَـٰ شِعِينَ
and the humble men
وَٱ لۡخَـٰ شِعَـٰ تِ
and the humble women
وَٱ لۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
and the men who give charity
وَٱ لۡمُتَصَدِّقَـٰ تِ
and the women who give charity
وَٱ ل صَّـٰٓ ئِمِينَ
and the men who fast
وَٱ ل صَّـٰٓ ئِمَـٰ تِ
and the women who fast
وَٱ لۡحَـٰ فِظِينَ
and the men who guard
فُرُوجَهُمۡ
their chastity
وَٱ لۡحَـٰ فِظَـٰ تِ
and the women who guard (it)
وَٱ ل ذّٰ
and the men who remember
Allah
كَثِيرًا
much
and the women who remember
أَعَدَّ
Allah has prepared
Allah has prepared
لَهُم
for them
forgiveness
and a reward
عَظِيمًا
٣٥great
Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allāh often and the women who do so - for them Allāh has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.
33:36
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
(it) is
لِمُؤۡمِنٍ
for a believing man
and not
مُؤۡمِنَةٍ
(for) a believing woman
إِذَا
when
قَضَى
Allah has decided
Allah has decided
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
and His Messenger
أَمۡرًا
a matter
أَن
that
(there) should be
لَهُمُ
for them
(any) choice
مِنۡ
about
أَمۡرِهِمۡۗ
their affair
وَمَن
And whoever
disobeys
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
and His Messenger
فَقَدۡ
certainly
ضَلَّ
he (has) strayed
ضَلَـٰ لاً
(into) error
clear
It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allāh and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allāh and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.
33:37
وَإِذۡ
And when
تَقُولُ
you said
لِلَّذِىٓ
to the one
أَنۡعَمَ
Allah bestowed favor
Allah bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
on him
وَأَنۡعَمۡتَ
and you bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
on him
أَمۡسِكۡ
Keep
عَلَيۡكَ
to yourself
زَوۡجَكَ
your wife
وَٱ تَّقِ
and fear
Allah
وَتُخۡفِى
But you concealed
فِى
within
نَفۡسِكَ
yourself
مَا
what
Allah
مُبۡ دِيهِ
(was to) disclose
وَتَخۡشَى
And you fear
the people
وَٱ للَّهُ
while Allah
أَحَقُّ
has more right
أَن
that
you (should) fear Him
فَلَمّ َا
So when
قَضَىٰ
ended
زَيۡدٌ
Zaid
from her
وَطَرًا
necessary (formalities)
We married her to you
لِكَىۡ
so that
لَا
not
يَكُونَ
there be
عَلَى
on
the believers
حَرَجٌ
any discomfort
concerning
أَزۡوٰ
the wives
أَدۡ عِيَا ٓئِهِمۡ
(of) their adopted sons
إِذَا
when
قَضَوۡاۡ
they have ended
مِنۡهُنّ َ
from them
وَطَرًاۚ
necessary (formalities)
And is
أَمۡرُ
(the) Command
(of) Allah
مَفۡعُولاً
٣٧accomplished
And [remember, O Muḥammad], when you said to the one on whom Allāh bestowed favor and you bestowed favor,1 "Keep your wife and fear Allāh," while you concealed within yourself that which Allāh is to disclose.2 And you feared the people,3 while Allāh has more right that you fear Him.4 So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort [i.e., guilt] concerning the wives of their claimed [i.e., adopted] sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command [i.e., decree] of Allāh accomplished.
33:38
مَّا
Not
كَانَ
(there can) be
عَلَى
upon
the Prophet
مِنۡ
any
حَرَجٍ
discomfort
in what
فَرَضَ
Allah has imposed
Allah has imposed
لَهُۖۥ
on him
سُنّ َةَ
(That is the) Way
(of) Allah
فِى
concerning
those who
خَلَوۡاۡ
passed away
مِن
before
before
وَكَانَ
And is
أَمۡرُ
(the) Command
(of) Allah
قَدَرًا
a decree
destined
There is not to be upon the Prophet any discomfort concerning that which Allāh has imposed upon him.1 [This is] the established way of Allāh with those [prophets] who have passed on before. And ever is the command of Allāh a destiny decreed.
33:39
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يُبَلِّغُونَ
convey
رِسَـٰ لَـٰ تِ
(the) Messages
(of) Allah
وَيَخۡشَوۡنَهُۥ
and fear Him
وَلَا
and (do) not
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
fear
أَحَدًا
anyone
إِلَّا
except
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱ للَّهِ
And sufficient is Allah
حَسِيبًا
٣٩(as) a Reckoner
[Allāh praises] those who convey the messages of Allāh1 and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allāh. And sufficient is Allāh as Accountant.
33:40
مَّا
Not
كَانَ
is
مُحَمّ َدٌ
Muhammad
أَبَآ
(the) father
أَحَدٍ
(of) anyone
of
your men
وَلَـٰ كِن
but
(he is the) Messenger
(of) Allah
وَخَاتَمَ
and Seal
(of) the Prophets
وَكَانَ
And Allah is
And Allah is
بِكُلِّ
of every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
عَلِيمًا
٤٠All-Knower
Muḥammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allāh and seal [i.e., last] of the prophets. And ever is Allāh, of all things, Knowing.
33:41
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you who believe
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواۡ
O you who believe
Remember
Allah
ذِكۡرًا
(with) remembrance
much
O you who have believed, remember Allāh with much remembrance
33:42
وَسَبِّحُوهُ
And glorify Him
بُكۡرَةً
morning
and evening
And exalt Him morning and afternoon.
33:43
هُوَ
He
(is) the One Who
يُصَلِّى
sends His blessings
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
upon you
وَمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَتُهُۥ
and His Angels
لِيُخۡرِجَكُم
so that He may bring you out
from
the darkness[es]
إِلَى
to
the light
وَكَانَ
And He is
بِٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
to the believers
رَحِيمًا
٤٣Merciful
It is He who confers blessing upon you,1 and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.
33:44
تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ
Their greetings
يَوۡمَ
(on the) Day
يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ
they will meet Him
سَلَـٰ مٌۚ
(will be), "Peace
and He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
for them
أَجۡ رًا
a reward
noble
Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.
33:45
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O Prophet
O Prophet
إِنّ َآ
Indeed, We
أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰ كَ
have sent you
شَـٰ هِدًا
(as) a witness
and a bearer of glad tidings
and (as) a warner
O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner
33:46
وَدَاعِيًا
And as one who invites
إِلَى
to
Allah
بِإِذۡنِهِۦ
by His permission
وَسِرَاجًا
and (as) a lamp
illuminating
And one who invites to Allāh, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp.
33:47
وَبَشِّرِ
And give glad tidings
(to) the believers
بِأَنّ َ
that
لَهُم
for them
(is) from
Allah
فَضۡلاً
a Bounty
great
And give good tidings to the believers that they will have from Allāh great bounty.
33:48
وَلَا
And (do) not
تُطِعِ
obey
the disbelievers
وَٱ لۡمُنَـٰ فِقِينَ
and the hypocrites
وَدَعۡ
and disregard
أَذَٮٰ هُمۡ
their harm
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
and put your trust
عَلَى
in
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱ للَّهِ
And sufficient is Allah
وَكِيلاً
٤٨(as) a Trustee
And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites and disregard their annoyance, and rely upon Allāh. And sufficient is Allāh as Disposer of affairs.
33:49
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you who believe
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓ اۡ
O you who believe
إِذَا
When
نَكَحۡتُمُ
you marry
believing women
ثُمّ َ
and then
طَلَّقۡ تُمُوهُنّ َ
divorce them
مِن
before
before
أَن
[that]
you have touched them
فَمَا
then not
لَكُمۡ
for you
عَلَيۡهِنّ َ
on them
مِنۡ
any
عِدَّةٍ
waiting period
(to) count concerning them
فَمَتِّعُوهُنّ َ
So provide for them
وَسَرِّحُوهُنّ َ
and release them
سَرَاحًا
(with) a release
good
O you who have believed, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them [i.e., consummated the marriage], then there is not for you any waiting period to count concerning them. So provide for them and give them a gracious release.
33:50
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O Prophet
O Prophet
إِنّ َآ
Indeed, We
أَحۡلَلۡنَا
[We] have made lawful
لَكَ
to you
أَزۡوٰ
your wives
(to) whom
ءَاتَيۡتَ
you have given
أُجُورَهُنّ َ
their bridal money
وَمَا
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
you rightfully possess
يَمِينُكَ
you rightfully possess
مِمّ َآ
from those (whom)
أَفَا ٓءَ
Allah has given
Allah has given
عَلَيۡكَ
to you
وَبَنَاتِ
and (the) daughters
عَمّ ِكَ
(of) your paternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
and (the) daughters
عَمّ َـٰ تِكَ
(of) your paternal aunts
وَبَنَاتِ
and (the) daughters
خَالِكَ
(of) your maternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
and (the) daughters
خَـٰ لَـٰ تِكَ
(of) your maternal aunts
who
هَاجَرۡنَ
emigrated
مَعَكَ
with you
وَٱ مۡرَأَةً
and a woman
believing
إِن
if
she gives
نَفۡسَهَا
herself
لِلنّ َبِىِّ
to the Prophet
إِنۡ
if
أَرَادَ
wishes
the Prophet
أَن
to
marry her
خَالِصَةً
only
for you
مِن
excluding
excluding
the believers
قَدۡ
Certainly
عَلِمۡنَا
We know
مَا
what
فَرَضۡنَا
We have made obligatory
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
upon them
فِىٓ
concerning
أَزۡوٰ
their wives
وَمَا
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
they rightfully possess
أَيۡمَـٰ نُهُمۡ
they rightfully possess
لِكَيۡلَا
that not
يَكُونَ
should be
عَلَيۡكَ
on you
حَرَجٌۗ
any discomfort
And Allah is
And Allah is
غَفُورًا
Oft-Forgiving
Most Merciful
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation1 and those your right hand possesses from what Allāh has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her; [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort [i.e., difficulty]. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.
33:51
۞تُرۡجِى
You may defer
مَن
whom
you will
مِنۡهُنّ َ
of them
وَتُــٔۡوِىٓ
or you may take
إِلَيۡكَ
to yourself
مَن
whom
you will
وَمَنِ
And whoever
you desire
مِمّ َنۡ
of those whom
عَزَلۡتَ
you (had) set aside
فَلَا
then (there is) no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡكَۚ
upon you
ذٰ
That
أَدۡ نَىٰٓ
(is) more suitable
أَن
that
may be cooled
أَعۡيُنُهُنّ َ
their eyes
وَلَا
and not
يَحۡزَنّ َ
they grieve
وَيَرۡضَيۡنَ
and they may be pleased
بِمَآ
with what
ءَاتَيۡتَهُنّ َ
you have given them
كُلُّهُنّ َۚ
all of them
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
قُلُوبِكُمۡۚ
your hearts
وَكَانَ
And Allah is
And Allah is
عَلِيمًا
All-Knower
حَلِيمًا
٥١Most Forbearing
You, [O Muḥammad], may put aside whom you will of them1 or take to yourself whom you will. And any that you desire of those [wives] from whom you had [temporarily] separated - there is no blame upon you [in returning her]. That is more suitable that they should be content and not grieve and that they should be satisfied with what you have given them - all of them. And Allāh knows what is in your hearts. And ever is Allāh Knowing and Forbearing.
33:52
لَّا
(It is) not
يَحِلُّ
lawful
لَكَ
for you
(to marry) women
مِنۢ
after (this)
after (this)
وَلَآ
and not
أَن
to
exchange
بِهِنّ َ
them
مِنۡ
for
أَزۡوٰ جٍ
(other) wives
even if
أَعۡجَبَكَ
pleases you
حُسۡنُهُنّ َ
their beauty
إِلَّا
except
مَا
whom
مَلَكَتۡ
you rightfully possess
يَمِينُكَۗ
you rightfully possess
وَكَانَ
And Allah is
And Allah is
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
all
شَىۡءٍ
things
an Observer
Not lawful to you, [O Muḥammad], are [any additional] women after [this], nor [is it] for you to exchange them for [other] wives, even if their beauty were to please you, except what your right hand possesses. And ever is Allāh, over all things, an Observer.1
33:53
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you who believe
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواۡ
O you who believe
لَا
(Do) not
تَدۡ خُلُواۡ
enter
بُيُوتَ
(the) houses
(of) the Prophet
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
when
permission is given
لَكُمۡ
to you
إِلَىٰ
for
طَعَامٍ
a meal
غَيۡرَ
without
نَـٰ ظِرِينَ
awaiting
إِنَـٰ هُ
its preparation
وَلَـٰ كِنۡ
But
إِذَا
when
دُعِيتُمۡ
you are invited
فَٱ دۡ خُلُواۡ
then enter
فَإِذَا
and when
طَعِمۡتُمۡ
you have eaten
فَٱ نت َشِرُواۡ
then disperse
وَلَا
and not
مُسۡتَــٔۡنِسِينَ
seeking to remain
لِحَدِيثٍۚ
for a conversation
إِنّ َ
Indeed
ذٰ
that
كَانَ
was
يُؤۡذِى
troubling
the Prophet
فَيَسۡتَحۡىِۦ
and he is shy
مِنك ُمۡۖ
of (dismissing) you
وَٱ للَّهُ
But Allah
لَا
is not shy
يَسۡتَحۡىِۦ
is not shy
مِنَ
of
the truth
وَإِذَا
And when
سَأَلۡتُمُوهُنّ َ
you ask them
مَتَـٰ عًا
(for) anything
then ask them
مِن
from
behind
حِجَابٍۚ
a screen
That
أَطۡ هَرُ
(is) purer
لِقُلُوبِكُمۡ
for your hearts
وَقُلُوبِهِنّ َۚ
and their hearts
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
is
لَكُمۡ
for you
أَن
that
you trouble
رَسُولَ
(the) Messenger
(of) Allah
وَلَآ
and not
أَن
that
you should marry
أَزۡوٰ ۥ
his wives
مِنۢ
after him
after him
أَبَدًاۚ
ever
إِنّ َ
Indeed
ذٰ
that
كَانَ
is
عِند َ
near
Allah
عَظِيمًا
٥٣an enormity
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allāh is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allāh or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allāh an enormity.
33:54
إِن
Whether
you reveal
شَيۡــًٔا
a thing
أَوۡ
or
تُخۡفُوهُ
conceal it
فَإِنّ َ
indeed
Allah
كَانَ
is
بِكُلِّ
of all
شَىۡءٍ
things
عَلِيمًا
٥٤All-Knower
Whether you reveal a thing or conceal it, indeed Allāh is ever, of all things, Knowing.
33:55
لَّا
(There is) no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡهِنّ َ
upon them
فِىٓ
concerning
ءَابَا ٓئِهِنّ َ
their fathers
وَلَآ
and not
أَبۡ نَا ٓئِهِنّ َ
their sons
وَلَآ
and not
إِخۡوٰ نّ َ
their brothers
وَلَآ
and not
أَبۡ نَا ٓءِ
sons
إِخۡوٰ نّ َ
(of) their brothers
وَلَآ
and not
أَبۡ نَا ٓءِ
sons
أَخَوٰ نّ َ
(of) their sisters
وَلَا
and not
نِسَا ٓئِهِنّ َ
their women
وَلَا
and not
مَا
what
مَلَكَتۡ
they rightfully possess
أَيۡمَـٰ نُهُنّ َۗ
they rightfully possess
وَٱ تَّقِينَ
And fear
Allah
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
كَانَ
is
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
all
شَىۡءٍ
things
a Witness
There is no blame upon them [i.e., women] concerning their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or those their right hands possess [i.e., slaves].1 And fear Allāh. Indeed Allāh is ever, over all things, Witness.
33:56
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
وَمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَتَهُۥ
and His Angels
يُصَلُّونَ
send blessings
عَلَى
upon
the Prophet
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you who believe
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواۡ
O you who believe
صَلُّواۡ
Send blessings
عَلَيۡهِ
on him
وَسَلِّمُواۡ
and greet him
تَسۡلِيمًا
٥٦(with) greetings
Indeed, Allāh confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allāh to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allāh to grant him] peace.
33:57
إِنّ َ
Indeed
those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
annoy
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
and His Messenger
لَعَنَهُمُ
Allah has cursed them
Allah has cursed them
فِى
in
the world
وَٱ لۡأَخِرَةِ
and the Hereafter
وَأَعَدَّ
and prepared
لَهُمۡ
for them
عَذَابًا
a punishment
humiliating
Indeed, those who abuse Allāh and His Messenger - Allāh has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment.
33:58
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those who
يُؤۡذُونَ
harm
the believing men
وَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰ تِ
and the believing women
بِغَيۡرِ
for other than
مَا
what
they have earned
فَقَدِ
then certainly
they bear
بُهۡتَـٰ نًا
false accusation
and sin
manifest
And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned [i.e., deserved] have certainly borne upon themselves a slander and manifest sin.
33:59
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O Prophet
O Prophet
قُل
Say
لِّأَزۡوٰ
to your wives
وَبَنَاتِكَ
and your daughters
وَنِسَا ٓءِ
and (the) women
(of) the believers
يُدۡ نِينَ
to draw
عَلَيۡهِنّ َ
over themselves
مِن
[of]
their outer garments
ذٰ
That
أَدۡ نَىٰٓ
(is) more suitable
أَن
that
they should be known
فَلَا
and not
يُؤۡذَيۡنَۗ
harmed
وَكَانَ
And is
Allah
غَفُورًا
Oft-Forgiving
Most Merciful
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments.1 That is more suitable that they will be known2 and not be abused. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.3
33:60
۞لَّئِن
If
(do) not
يَنت َهِ
cease
the hypocrites
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
and those who
فِى
in
قُلُوبِهِم
their hearts
(is) a disease
and those who spread rumors
فِى
in
the city
لَنُغۡرِيَنّ َكَ
We will let you overpower them
بِهِمۡ
We will let you overpower them
ثُمّ َ
then
لَا
not
يُجَاوِرُونَكَ
they will remain your neighbors
فِيهَآ
therein
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلاً
٦٠(for) a little
If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease1 and those who spread rumors in al-Madīnah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little,
33:61
مَّلۡعُونِينَۖ
Accursed
أَيۡنَمَا
wherever
ثُقِفُوٓ اۡ
they are found
أُخِذُواۡ
they are seized
وَقُتِّلُواۡ
and massacred completely
تَقۡ تِيلاً
٦١and massacred completely
Accursed wherever they are found, [being] seized and massacred completely.
33:62
سُنّ َةَ
(Such is the) Way
(of) Allah
فِى
with
those who
خَلَوۡاۡ
passed away
مِن
before
before
وَلَن
and never
you will find
لِسُنّ َةِ
in (the) Way
(of) Allah
تَبۡ دِيلاً
٦٢any change
[This is] the established way of Allāh with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allāh any change.
33:63
يَسۡــَٔلُكَ
Ask you
the people
عَنِ
about
the Hour
قُلۡ
Say
إِنّ َمَا
Only
عِلۡمُهَا
its knowledge
عِند َ
(is) with
Allah
وَمَا
And what
يُدۡ رِيكَ
will make you know
لَعَلَّ
Perhaps
the Hour
تَكُونُ
is
قَرِيبًا
٦٣near
People ask you concerning the Hour. Say, "Knowledge of it is only with Allāh. And what may make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near."
33:64
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
لَعَنَ
has cursed
the disbelievers
وَأَعَدَّ
and has prepared
لَهُمۡ
for them
سَعِيرًا
٦٤a Blaze
Indeed, Allāh has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze.
33:65
خَـٰ لِدِينَ
Abiding
فِيهَآ
therein
أَبَدًاۖ
forever
not
يَجِدُونَ
they will find
وَلِيًّا
any protector
and not
نَصِيرًا
٦٥any helper
Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper.
33:66
يَوۡمَ
(The) Day
تُقَلَّبُ
will be turned about
وُجُوهُهُمۡ
their faces
فِى
in
the Fire
يَقُولُونَ
they will say
يَـٰ لَيۡتَنَآ
O we wish
أَطَعۡنَا
we (had) obeyed
Allah
وَأَطَعۡنَا
and obeyed
the Messenger
The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allāh and obeyed the Messenger."
33:67
وَقَالُواۡ
And they will say
رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
إِنّ َآ
Indeed, we
أَطَعۡنَا
[we] obeyed
سَادَتَنَا
our chiefs
وَكُبَرَا ٓءَنَا
and our great men
فَأَضَلُّونَا
and they misled us
(from) the Way
And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries,1 and they led us astray from the [right] way.
33:68
رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
ءَاتِهِمۡ
Give them
ضِعۡفَيۡنِ
double
مِنَ
[of]
punishment
وَٱ لۡعَنۡهُمۡ
and curse them
لَعۡنًا
(with) a curse
great
Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse."
33:69
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you who believe
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواۡ
O you who believe
لَا
(Do) not
تَكُونُواۡ
be
كَٱ لَّذِينَ
like those who
ءَاذَوۡاۡ
abused
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
فَبَرَّأَهُ
then Allah cleared him
then Allah cleared him
مِمّ َا
of what
قَالُواۡۚ
they said
وَكَانَ
And he was
عِند َ
near
Allah
وَجِيهًا
٦٩honorable
O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then Allāh cleared him of what they said. And he, in the sight of Allāh, was distinguished.
33:70
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O you who believe
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواۡ
O you who believe
Fear
Allah
وَقُولُواۡ
and speak
قَوۡلاً
a word
right
O you who have believed, fear Allāh and speak words of appropriate justice.
33:71
يُصۡلِحۡ
He will amend
لَكُمۡ
for you
أَعۡمَـٰ لَكُمۡ
your deeds
وَيَغۡفِرۡ
and forgive
لَكُمۡ
for you
ذُنُوبَكُمۡۗ
your sins
وَمَن
And whoever
obeys
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
and His Messenger
فَقَدۡ
certainly
فَازَ
has attained
فَوۡزًا
an attainment
عَظِيمًا
٧١great
He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allāh and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.
33:72
إِنّ َا
Indeed, We
عَرَضۡنَا
[We] offered
the Trust
عَلَى
to
the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِ
and the earth
وَٱ لۡجِبَالِ
and the mountains
فَأَبَيۡنَ
but they refused
أَن
to
bear it
وَأَشۡفَقۡ نَ
and they feared
مِنۡهَا
from it
وَحَمَلَهَا
but bore it
the man
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, he
كَانَ
was
ظَلُومًا
unjust
ignorant
Indeed, We offered the Trust1 to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.2
33:73
لِّيُعَذِّبَ
So that Allah may punish
So that Allah may punish
the hypocrite men
وَٱ لۡمُنَـٰ فِقَـٰ تِ
and the hypocrite women
وَٱ لۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
and the polytheist men
وَٱ لۡمُشۡرِكَـٰ تِ
and the polytheist women
وَيَتُوبَ
and Allah will turn (in Mercy)
and Allah will turn (in Mercy)
عَلَى
to
the believing men
وَٱ لۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰ تِۗ
and the believing women
وَكَانَ
And Allah is
And Allah is
غَفُورًا
Oft-Forgiving
Most Merciful
[It1 was] so that Allāh may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him and that Allāh may accept repentance from the believing men and believing women. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.
34:1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
All praises
لِلَّهِ
(be) to Allah
the One to Whom belongs
لَهُۥ
the One to Whom belongs
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
the heavens
وَمَا
and whatever
فِى
(is) in
the earth
وَلَهُ
and for Him
(are) all praises
فِى
in
the Hereafter
وَهُوَ
And He
(is) the All-Wise
the All-Aware
[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Aware.
34:2
يَعۡلَمُ
He knows
مَا
what
يَلِجُ
penetrates
فِى
in
the earth
وَمَا
and what
يَخۡرُجُ
comes out
مِنۡهَا
from it
وَمَا
and what
يَنز ِلُ
descends
مِنَ
from
the heaven
وَمَا
and what
يَعۡرُجُ
ascends
فِيهَاۚ
therein
وَهُوَ
And He
(is) the Most Merciful
the Oft-Forgiving
He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving.
34:3
وَقَالَ
But say
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve
لَا
Not
تَأۡتِينَا
will come to us
the Hour
قُلۡ
Say
بَلَىٰ
Nay
وَرَبِّى
by my Lord
لَتَأۡتِيَنّ َكُمۡ
surely it will come to you
عَـٰ لِمِ
(He is the) Knower
(of) the unseen
لَا
Not
يَعۡزُبُ
escapes
عَنۡهُ
from Him
مِثۡقَالُ
(the) weight
ذَرَّةٍ
(of) an atom
in
the heavens
وَلَا
and not
فِى
in
the earth
وَلَآ
and not
أَصۡغَرُ
smaller
مِن
than
that
وَلَآ
and not
أَكۡبَرُ
greater
إِلَّا
but
فِى
(is) in
كِتَـٰ بٍ
a Record
Clear
But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [Allāh is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight1 within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register -
34:4
لِّيَجۡ زِىَ
That He may reward
those who
ءَامَنُواۡ
believe
وَعَمِلُواۡ
and do
righteous deeds
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
Those
لَهُم
for them
(will be) forgiveness
and a provision
noble
That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision.
34:5
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
But those who
سَعَوۡ
strive
فِىٓ
against
ءَايَـٰ تِنَا
Our Verses
مُعَـٰ جِزِينَ
(to) cause failure
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
those
لَهُمۡ
for them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
of
foul nature
أَلِي مٌ
٥painful
But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure1 - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.
34:6
وَيَرَى
And see
those who
أُوتُواۡ
have been given
the knowledge
(that) what
أُنز ِلَ
is revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
to you
مِن
from
your Lord
هُوَ
[it]
(is) the Truth
وَيَهۡدِىٓ
and it guides
إِلَىٰ
to
صِرٰ
(the) Path
(of) the All-Mighty
the Praiseworthy
And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.
34:7
وَقَالَ
But say
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve
هَلۡ
Shall
نَدُلُّكُمۡ
we direct you
عَلَىٰ
to
رَجُلٍ
a man
who informs you
إِذَا
when
مُزِّقۡ تُمۡ
you have disintegrated
كُلَّ
(in) total
مُمَزَّقٍ
disintegration
إِنّ َكُمۡ
indeed you
لَفِى
surely (will be) in
خَلۡقٍ
a creation
new
But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation?
34:8
أَفۡتَرَىٰ
Has he invented
عَلَى
about
Allah
كَذِبًا
a lie
أَم
or
in him
جِنّ َۗةُۢ
(is) madness
Nay
those who
لَا
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
believe
بِٱ لۡأَخِرَةِ
in the Hereafter
فِى
(will be) in
the punishment
وَٱ ل ضَّلَـٰ لِ
and error
far
Has he invented about Allāh a lie or is there in him madness?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment and [are in] extreme error.
34:9
أَفَلَمۡ
Then, do not
يَرَوۡاۡ
they see
إِلَىٰ
towards
مَا
what
بَيۡنَ
(is) before them
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
(is) before them
وَمَا
and what
خَلۡفَهُم
(is) behind them
of
the heaven
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِۚ
and the earth
إِن
If
We will
نَخۡسِفۡ
We (could) cause to swallow them
بِهِمُ
We (could) cause to swallow them
the earth
أَوۡ
or
نُسۡقِطۡ
cause to fall
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
upon them
كِسَفًا
fragments
from
the sky
إِنّ َ
Indeed
فِى
in
ذٰ
that
لَأَيَةً
surely, is a Sign
for every
عَبۡ دٍ
slave
who turns (to Allah)
Then, do they not look at what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and earth? If We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow them or [could] let fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed in that is a sign for every servant turning back [to Allāh].
34:10
۞وَلَقَدۡ
And certainly
ءَاتَيۡنَا
We gave
دَاوُۥ دَ
Dawood
مِنّ َا
from Us
فَضۡلاًۖ
Bounty
O mountains
أَوِّبِى
Repeat praises
مَعَهُۥ
with him
وَٱ ل طَّيۡرَۖ
and the birds
وَأَلَنّ َا
And We made pliable
لَهُ
for him
[the] iron
And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron,
34:11
أَنِ
That
make
سَـٰ بِغَـٰ تٍ
full coats of mail
and measure precisely
فِى
[of]
the links (of armor)
وَٱ عۡمَلُواۡ
and work
صَـٰ لِحًاۖ
righteousness
إِنّ ِى
Indeed, I Am
بِمَا
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
بَصِي رٌ
١١All-Seer
[Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing."
34:12
وَلِسُلَيۡمَـٰ نَ
And to Sulaiman
the wind
غُدُوُّهَا
its morning course
شَهۡرٌ
(was) a month
and its afternoon course
شَهۡرٌۖ
(was) a month
and We caused to flow
لَهُۥ
for him
عَيۡنَ
a spring
(of) molten copper
وَمِنَ
And [of]
the jinn
مَن
who
worked
بَيۡنَ
before him
يَدَيۡهِ
before him
بِإِذۡنِ
by the permission
رَبِّهِۖۦ
(of) his Lord
وَمَن
And whoever
deviated
مِنۡهُمۡ
among them
عَنۡ
from
أَمۡرِنَا
Our Command
نُذِقۡ هُ
We will make him taste
مِنۡ
of
عَذَابِ
(the) punishment
(of) the Blaze
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
34:13
يَعۡمَلُونَ
They worked
لَهُۥ
for him
مَا
what
يَشَا ٓءُ
he willed
مِن
of
elevated chambers
وَتَمَـٰ ثِيلَ
and statues
وَجِفَانٍ
and bowls
like reservoirs
وَقُدُورٍ
and cooking-pots
fixed
Work
ءَالَ
O family
دَاوُۥ دَ
(of) Dawood
شُكۡرًاۚ
(in) gratitude
But few
of
عِبَادِىَ
My slaves
(are) grateful
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers,1 statues,2 bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
34:14
فَلَمّ َا
Then when
قَضَيۡنَا
We decreed
عَلَيۡهِ
for him
the death
مَا
not
دَلَّهُمۡ
indicated to them
عَلَىٰ
[on]
مَوۡتِهِۦٓ
his death
إِلَّا
except
دَا ٓبَّةُ
a creature
(of) the earth
تَأۡكُلُ
eating
مِنس َأَتَهُۖۥ
his staff
فَلَمّ َا
But when
خَرَّ
he fell down
تَبَيَّنَتِ
became clear
(to) the jinn
أَن
that
if
كَانُواۡ
they had
يَعۡلَمُونَ
known
the unseen
مَا
not
لَبِثُواۡ
they (would have) remained
فِى
in
the punishment
humiliating
And when We decreed for him [i.e., Solomon] death, nothing indicated to them [i.e., the jinn] his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff.1 But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.2
34:15
لَقَدۡ
Certainly
كَانَ
(there) was
لِسَبَإٍ
for Saba
in
مَسۡكَنِهِمۡ
their dwelling place
ءَايَةٌۖ
a sign:
Two gardens
عَن
on
(the) right
and (on the) left
Eat
مِن
from
(the) provision
رَبِّكُمۡ
(of) your Lord
وَٱ شۡكُرُواۡ
and be grateful
لَهُۚۥ
to Him
بَلۡدَةٌ
A land
good
and a Lord
غَفُو رٌ
١٥Oft-Forgiving
There was for [the tribe of] Saba’ in their dwelling place a sign: two [fields of] gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provisions of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [have you], and a forgiving Lord."
34:16
فَأَعۡرَضُواۡ
But they turned away
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا
so We sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
upon them
سَيۡلَ
(the) flood
(of) the dam
وَبَدَّلۡنَـٰ هُم
and We changed for them
their two gardens
جَنّ َتَيۡنِ
(with) two gardens
ذَوَاتَىۡ
producing fruit
أُكُلٍ
producing fruit
خَمۡطٍ
bitter
and tamarisks
and (some)thing
of
lote trees
few
But they turned away [refusing], so We sent upon them the flood of the dam,1 and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees.
34:17
ذٰ
That
جَزَيۡنَـٰ هُم
We recompensed them
because
كَفَرُواۡۖ
they disbelieved
وَهَلۡ
And not
نُجَـٰ زِىٓ
We recompense
إِلَّا
except
the ungrateful
[By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?
34:18
وَجَعَلۡنَا
And We made
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
between them
وَبَيۡنَ
and between
the towns
which
بَـٰ رَكۡنَا
We had blessed
فِيهَا
in it
قُرًى
towns
visible
And We determined
فِيهَا
between them
the journey
سِيرُواۡ
Travel
فِيهَا
between them
لَيَالِىَ
(by) night
وَأَيَّامًا
and (by) day
ءَامِنِي نَ
١٨safely
And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed1 [many] visible cities. And We determined between them the [distances of] journey,2 [saying], "Travel between them by night or by day in safety."
34:19
فَقَالُواۡ
But they said
رَبَّنَا
Our Lord
بَـٰ عِدۡ
lengthen (the distance)
بَيۡنَ
between
أَسۡفَارِنَا
our journeys
وَظَلَمُوٓ اۡ
And they wronged
أَنف ُسَهُمۡ
themselves
فَجَعَلۡنَـٰ هُمۡ
so We made them
أَحَادِيثَ
narrations
وَمَزَّقۡ نَـٰ هُمۡ
and We dispersed them
كُلَّ
(in) a total
مُمَزَّقٍۚ
dispersion
إِنّ َ
Indeed
فِى
in
ذٰ
that
لَأَيَـٰ تٍ
surely (are) Signs
for everyone
صَبَّارٍ
patient
(and) grateful
But [insolently] they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations1 and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
34:20
وَلَقَدۡ
And certainly
صَدَّقَ
found true
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
about them
إِبۡ لِيسُ
Iblis
ظَنّ َهُۥ
his assumption
فَٱ تَّبَعُوهُ
so they followed him
إِلَّا
except
فَرِيقًا
a group
of
the believers
And Iblees had already confirmed through them1 his assumption,2 so they followed him, except for a party of believers.
34:21
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
was
لَهُۥ
for him
عَلَيۡهِم
over them
any
authority
إِلَّا
except
لِنَعۡلَمَ
that We (might) make evident
مَن
who
believes
بِٱ لۡأَخِرَةِ
in the Hereafter
مِمّ َنۡ
from (one) who
هُوَ
[he]
مِنۡهَا
about it
فِى
(is) in
شَكٍّۗ
doubt
And your Lord
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
all
شَىۡءٍ
things
حَفِي ظٌ
٢١(is) a Guardian
And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.1
34:22
قُلِ
Say
Call upon
those whom
زَعَمۡتُم
you claim
besides
besides
Allah
لَا
Not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
they possess
مِثۡقَالَ
(the) weight
ذَرَّةٍ
(of) an atom
in
the heavens
وَلَا
and not
فِى
in
the earth
وَمَا
and not
لَهُمۡ
for them
فِيهِمَا
in both of them
مِن
any
partnership
and not
لَهُۥ
for Him
مِنۡهُم
from them
any
supporter
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allāh." They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant.
34:23
وَلَا
And not
تَنف َعُ
benefits
the intercession
عِند َهُۥٓ
with Him
إِلَّا
except
لِمَنۡ
for (one) whom
أَذِنَ
He permits
لَهُۚۥ
for him
حَتَّىٰٓ
Until
إِذَا
when
فُزِّعَ
fear is removed
عَن
on
their hearts
قَالُواۡ
they will say
مَاذَا
What is that
قَالَ
your Lord has said
رَبُّكُمۡۖ
your Lord has said
قَالُواۡ
They will say
The truth
وَهُوَ
And He
(is) the Most High
the Most Great
And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts,1 they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand.
34:24
۞قُلۡ
Say
مَن
Who
provides (for) you
from
the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِۖ
and the earth
قُلِ
Say
Allah
وَإِنّ َآ
And indeed, we
أَوۡ
or
إِيَّاكُمۡ
you
لَعَلَىٰ
(are) surely upon
هُدًى
guidance
أَوۡ
or
فِى
in
ضَلَـٰ لٍ
error
clear
Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allāh. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error."
34:25
قُل
Say
لَّا
Not
تُسۡــَٔلُونَ
you will be asked
عَمّ َآ
about what
أَجۡ رَمۡنَا
sins we committed
وَلَا
and not
نُسۡــَٔلُ
we will be asked
عَمّ َا
about what
تَعۡمَلُو نَ
٢٥you do
Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do."
34:26
قُلۡ
Say
يَجۡ مَعُ
Will gather
بَيۡنَنَا
us together
رَبُّنَا
our Lord
ثُمّ َ
then
يَفۡتَحُ
He will judge
بَيۡنَنَا
between us
بِٱ لۡحَقِّ
in truth
وَهُوَ
And He
(is) the Judge
the All-Knowing
Say, "Our Lord will bring us together; then He will judge between us in truth. And He is the Knowing Judge."1
34:27
قُلۡ
Say
أَرُونِىَ
Show me
those whom
أَلۡحَقۡ تُم
you have joined
with Him
شُرَكَا ٓءَۖ
(as) partners
كَلَّاۚ
By no means
بَلۡ
Nay
هُوَ
He
(is) Allah
the All-Mighty
the All-Wise
Say, "Show me those whom you have attached to Him as partners. No! Rather, He [alone] is Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
34:28
وَمَآ
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰ كَ
We have sent you
إِلَّا
except
كَا ٓفَّةً
comprehensively
to mankind
بَشِيرًا
(as) a giver of glad tidings
and (as) a warner
But
أَكۡثَرَ
most
[the] people
لَا
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُو نَ
٢٨know
And We have not sent you except comprehensively1 to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know.
34:29
وَيَقُولُونَ
And they say
مَتَىٰ
When
هَـٰ ذَا
(is) this
promise
إِن
if
you are
صَـٰ دِقِي نَ
٢٩truthful
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
34:30
قُل
Say
لَّكُم
For you
(is the) appointment
يَوۡمٍ
(of) a Day
not
تَسۡتَــٔۡخِرُونَ
you can postpone
عَنۡهُ
[of] it
سَاعَةً
(for) an hour
and not
تَسۡتَقۡ دِمُو نَ
٣٠(can) you precede (it)
Say, "For you is the appointment of a Day [when] you will not remain thereafter an hour, nor will you precede [it]."
34:31
وَقَالَ
And say
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve
لَن
Never will
we believe
بِهَـٰ ذَا
in this
Quran
وَلَا
and not
بِٱ لَّذِى
in (that) which
بَيۡنَ
(was) before it
يَدَيۡهِۗ
(was) before it
وَلَوۡ
But if
تَرَىٰٓ
you (could) see
إِذِ
when
the wrongdoers
مَوۡقُوفُونَ
will be made to stand
عِند َ
before
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
يَرۡجِعُ
will throw back
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
some of them
إِلَىٰ
to
بَعۡضٍ
others
the word
يَقُولُ
Will say
those who
were oppressed
لِلَّذِينَ
to those who
were arrogant
لَوۡلَآ
If not
أَنت ُمۡ
(for) you
لَكُنّ َا
certainly we (would) have been
مُؤۡمِنِي نَ
٣١believers
And those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur’ān nor in that before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting each others' words...1 Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we would have been believers."
34:32
قَالَ
Will say
those who
were arrogant
لِلَّذِينَ
to those
who were oppressed
أَنَحۡنُ
Did we
صَدَدۡ نَـٰ كُمۡ
avert you
عَنِ
from
the guidance
بَعۡدَ
after
إِذۡ
when
جَا ٓءَكُمۖ
it had come to you
Nay
كُنت ُم
you were
criminals
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals."
34:33
وَقَالَ
And will say
those who
were oppressed
لِلَّذِينَ
to those who
were arrogant
بَلۡ
Nay
مَكۡرُ
(it was) a plot
(by) night
وَٱ ل نّ َهَارِ
and (by) day
إِذۡ
when
تَأۡمُرُونَنَآ
you were ordering us
أَن
that
we disbelieve
بِٱ للَّهِ
in Allah
وَنَجۡ عَلَ
and we set up
لَهُۥٓ
for Him
أَند َادًاۚ
equals
But they will conceal
the regret
لَمّ َا
when
رَأَوُاۡ
they see
the punishment
وَجَعَلۡنَا
And We will put
shackles
فِىٓ
on
أَعۡنَاقِ
(the) necks
(of) those who
كَفَرُواۡۚ
disbelieved
هَلۡ
Will
يُجۡ زَوۡنَ
they be recompensed
إِلَّا
except
مَا
(for) what
كَانُواۡ
they used to
يَعۡمَلُو نَ
٣٣do
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allāh and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do?
34:34
وَمَآ
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
We sent
فِى
to
قَرۡيَةٍ
a town
any
warner
إِلَّا
but
قَالَ
said
مُتۡرَفُوهَآ
its wealthy ones
إِنّ َا
Indeed we
بِمَآ
in what
أُرۡسِلۡتُم
you have been sent
with
كَـٰ فِرُو نَ
٣٤(are) disbelievers
And We did not send into a city any warner except that its affluent said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."
34:35
وَقَالُواۡ
And they say
نَحۡنُ
We
أَكۡثَرُ
(have) more
أَمۡوٰ اً
wealth
and children
and not
نَحۡنُ
we
بِمُعَذَّبِي نَ
٣٥will be punished
And they1 said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."
34:36
قُلۡ
Say
إِنّ َ
Indeed
رَبِّى
my Lord
يَبۡ سُطُ
extends
the provision
لِمَن
for whom
He wills
وَيَقۡ دِرُ
and restricts
وَلَـٰ كِنّ َ
but
أَكۡثَرَ
most
[the] people
لَا
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُو نَ
٣٦know
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know."
34:37
وَمَآ
And not
أَمۡوٰ
your wealth
وَلَآ
and not
أَوۡلَـٰ دُكُم
your children
[that]
تُقَرِّبُكُمۡ
will bring you close
عِند َنَا
to Us
زُلۡفَىٰٓ
(in) position
إِلَّا
but
مَنۡ
whoever
ءَامَنَ
believes
وَعَمِلَ
and does
صَـٰ لِحًا
righteousness
then those
لَهُمۡ
for them
جَزَا ٓءُ
(will be) reward
two-fold
بِمَا
for what
عَمِلُواۡ
they did
وَهُمۡ
and they
فِى
(will be) in
the high dwellings
ءَامِنُو نَ
٣٧secure
And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].
34:38
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those who
يَسۡعَوۡنَ
strive
فِىٓ
against
ءَايَـٰ تِنَا
Our Verses
مُعَـٰ جِزِينَ
(to) cause failure
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
those
فِى
into
the punishment
مُحۡضَرُو نَ
٣٨(will be) brought
And the ones who strive against Our verses to cause [them] failure1 - those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].
34:39
قُلۡ
Say
إِنّ َ
Indeed
رَبِّى
my Lord
يَبۡ سُطُ
extends
the provision
لِمَن
for whom
He wills
مِنۡ
of
عِبَادِهِۦ
His slaves
وَيَقۡ دِرُ
and restricts
لَهُۥ ۚ
for him
وَمَآ
But what
أَنف َقۡ تُم
you spend
of
anything
then He
يُخۡلِفُهُۖۥ
will compensate it
وَهُوَ
and He
خَيۡرُ
(is the) Best
(of) the Providers
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."
34:40
وَيَوۡمَ
And (the) Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
He will gather them
جَمِيعًا
all
then
يَقُولُ
He will say
لِلۡمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَةِ
to the Angels
أَهَـٰٓ ؤُلَا ٓءِ
Were these you
إِيَّاكُمۡ
Were these you
كَانُواۡ
they were
يَعۡبُدُو نَ
٤٠worshipping
And [mention] the Day when He will gather them all and then say to the angels, "Did these [people] used to worship you?"
34:41
قَالُواۡ
They will say
سُبۡ حَـٰ نَكَ
Glory be to You
أَنت َ
You
وَلِيُّنَا
(are) our Protector
مِن
not them
not them
Nay
كَانُواۡ
they used
يَعۡبُدُونَ
(to) worship
the jinn
أَكۡثَرُهُم
most of them
in them
(were) believers
They will say, "Exalted are You! You, [O Allāh], are our benefactor excluding [i.e., not] them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them."
34:42
فَٱ لۡيَوۡمَ
But today
لَا
not
يَمۡلِكُ
possess power
بَعۡضُكُمۡ
some of you
لِبَعۡضٍ
on others
to benefit
and not
ضَرًّا
to harm
and We will say
لِلَّذِينَ
to those
ظَلَمُواۡ
who wronged
ذُوقُواۡ
Taste
عَذَابَ
(the) punishment
(of) the Fire
which
كُنت ُم
you used
to [it]
تُكَذِّبُو نَ
٤٢deny
But today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] you do not hold for one another [the power of] benefit or harm, and We will say to those who wronged, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny."
34:43
وَإِذَا
And when
تُتۡلَىٰ
are recited
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
to them
ءَايَـٰ تُنَا
Our Verses
بَيِّنَـٰ تٍ
clear
they say
مَا
Not
هَـٰ ذَآ
(is) this
إِلَّا
but
رَجُلٌ
a man
who wishes
أَن
to
hinder you
عَمّ َا
from what
كَانَ
used
يَعۡبُدُ
(to) worship
ءَابَا ٓؤُكُمۡ
your forefathers
وَقَالُواۡ
And they say
مَا
Not
هَـٰ ذَآ
(is) this
إِلَّآ
except
إِفۡكٌ
a lie
invented
And said
those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieved
لِلۡحَقِّ
about the truth
لَمّ َا
when
جَا ٓءَهُمۡ
it came to them
إِنۡ
Not
هَـٰ ذَآ
(is) this
إِلَّا
except
سِحۡرٌ
a magic
obvious
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, "This is not but a man who wishes to avert you from that which your fathers were worshipping." And they say, "This is not except a lie invented." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is not but obvious magic."
34:44
وَمَآ
And not
ءَاتَيۡنَـٰ هُم
We (had) given them
any
Scriptures
which they could study
وَمَآ
and not
أَرۡسَلۡنَآ
We sent
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
to them
قَبۡ لَكَ
before you
مِن
any
warner
And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muḥammad], any warner.
34:45
وَكَذَّبَ
And denied
those who
مِن
(were) before them
(were) before them
وَمَا
and not
بَلَغُواۡ
they have attained
مِعۡشَارَ
a tenth
مَآ
(of) what
ءَاتَيۡنَـٰ هُمۡ
We (had) given them
فَكَذَّبُواۡ
But they denied
رُسُلِىۖ
My Messengers
فَكَيۡفَ
so how
كَانَ
was
نَكِي رِ
٤٥My rejection
And those before them denied, and they [i.e., the people of Makkah] have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But they [i.e., the former peoples] denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach.
34:46
۞قُلۡ
Say
إِنّ َمَآ
Only
أَعِظُكُم
I advise you
for one (thing)
أَن
that
you stand
لِلَّهِ
for Allah
مَثۡنَىٰ
(in) pairs
وَفُرٰ
and (as) individuals
ثُمّ َ
then
تَتَفَكَّرُواۡۚ
reflect
مَا
Not
بِصَاحِبِكُم
(is in) your companion
any
madness
إِنۡ
Not
هُوَ
he
إِلَّا
(is) except
نَذِيرٌ
a warner
for you
before
يَدَىۡ
before
عَذَابٍ
a punishment
severe
Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allāh, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.
34:47
قُلۡ
Say
مَا
Not
سَأَلۡتُكُم
I ask you
for
أَجۡ رٍ
any payment
but it (is)
لَكُمۡۖ
for you
إِنۡ
Not
أَجۡ رِىَ
(is) my payment
إِلَّا
but
عَلَى
from
Allah
وَهُوَ
And He
عَلَىٰ
(is) over
كُلِّ
all
شَىۡءٍ
things
a Witness
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allāh, and He is, over all things, Witness."
34:48
قُلۡ
Say
إِنّ َ
Indeed
رَبِّى
my Lord
يَقۡ ذِفُ
projects
بِٱ لۡحَقِّ
the truth
عَلَّـٰ مُ
(the) All-Knower
(of) the unseen
Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth, Knower of the unseen."
34:49
قُلۡ
Say
جَا ٓءَ
Has come
the truth
وَمَا
and not
يُبۡ دِئُ
(can) originate
the falsehood
وَمَا
and not
يُعِي د ُ
٤٩repeat
Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]."1
34:50
قُلۡ
Say
إِن
If
I err
فَإِنّ َمَآ
then only
أَضِلُّ
I will err
عَلَىٰ
against
نَفۡسِىۖ
myself
وَإِنِ
But if
I am guided
فَبِمَا
then it is by what
يُوحِىٓ
reveals
إِلَىَّ
to me
رَبِّىٓۚ
my Lord
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, He
سَمِيعٌ
(is) All-Hearer
Ever-Near
Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near."
34:51
وَلَوۡ
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
you (could) see
إِذۡ
when
فَزِعُواۡ
they will be terrified
فَلَا
but (there will be) no
فَوۡتَ
escape
وَأُخِذُواۡ
and they will be seized
مِن
from
a place
near
And if you could see1 when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.
34:52
وَقَالُوٓ اۡ
And they will say
ءَامَنّ َا
We believe
بِهِۦ
in it
وَأَنّ َىٰ
But how
لَهُمُ
for them
(will be) the receiving
مِن
from
a place
far off
And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking1 [of faith] from a place far away?2
34:53
وَقَدۡ
And certainly
كَفَرُواۡ
they disbelieved
بِهِۦ
in it
مِن
before
before
وَيَقۡ ذِفُونَ
And they utter conjectures
بِٱ لۡغَيۡبِ
about the unseen
مِن
from
a place
far off
And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault1 the unseen from a place far away.2
34:54
وَحِيلَ
And a barrier will be placed
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
between them
وَبَيۡنَ
and between
مَا
what
يَشۡتَهُونَ
they desire
كَمَا
as
فُعِلَ
was done
بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم
with their kind
before
before
إِنّ َهُمۡ
Indeed, they
كَانُواۡ
were
فِى
in
شَكٍّ
doubt
disquieting
And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire,1 as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting doubt [i.e., denial].
35:1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
All praises
لِلَّهِ
(be) to Allah
فَاطِرِ
Originator
(of) the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِ
and the earth
جَاعِلِ
(Who) makes
the Angels
رُسُلاً
messengers
أُوۡ لِىٓ
having wings
أَجۡ نِحَةٍ
having wings
two
وَثُلَـٰ ثَ
or three
وَرُبَـٰ عَۚ
or four
يَزِيدُ
He increases
فِى
in
the creation
مَا
what
يَشَا ٓءُۚ
He wills
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
عَلَىٰ
(is) on
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
All-Powerful
[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.
35:2
مَّا
What
يَفۡتَحِ
Allah grants
Allah grants
لِلنّ َاسِ
to mankind
مِن
of
Mercy
then none
مُمۡسِكَ
(can) withhold
لَهَاۖ
it
وَمَا
And what
يُمۡسِكۡ
He withholds
فَلَا
then none
مُرۡسِلَ
(can) release
لَهُۥ
it
مِنۢ
thereafter
thereafter
وَهُوَ
And He
(is) the All-Mighty
the All-Wise
Whatever Allāh grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
35:3
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O
mankind
Remember
نِعۡمَتَ
(the) Favor
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ
upon you
هَلۡ
Is
مِنۡ
(there) any
خَـٰ لِقٍ
creator
غَيۡرُ
other (than) Allah
other (than) Allah
يَرۡزُقُكُم
who provides for you
from
the sky
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِۚ
and the earth
لَآ
(There is) no
إِلَـٰ هَ
god
إِلَّا
but
هُوَۖ
He
فَأَنّ َىٰ
Then, how
تُؤۡفَكُو نَ
٣(are) you deluded
O mankind, remember the favor of Allāh upon you. Is there any creator other than Allāh who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?
35:4
وَإِن
And if
they deny you
فَقَدۡ
then certainly
كُذِّبَتۡ
were denied
رُسُلٌ
Messengers
before you
before you
وَإِلَى
And to
Allah
تُرۡجَعُ
return
the matters
And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allāh are returned [all] matters.
35:5
يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O
mankind
إِنّ َ
Indeed
وَعۡدَ
(the) promise
(of) Allah
حَقٌّۖ
(is) true
So (let) not
تَغُرَّنّ َكُمُ
deceive you
the life
(of) the world
وَلَا
and (let) not
يَغُرَّنّ َكُم
deceive you
about Allah
the Deceiver
O mankind, indeed the promise of Allāh is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allāh by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan].
35:6
إِنّ َ
Indeed
the Shaitaan
لَكُمۡ
(is) to you
عَدُوٌّ
an enemy
so take him
عَدُوًّاۚ
(as) an enemy
إِنّ َمَا
Only
يَدۡ عُواۡ
he invites
حِزۡبَهُۥ
his party
لِيَكُونُواۡ
that they may be
مِنۡ
among
أَصۡحَـٰ بِ
(the) companions
(of) the Blaze
Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
35:7
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve
لَهُمۡ
for them
عَذَابٌ
(will be) a punishment
severe
and those
ءَامَنُواۡ
who believe
وَعَمِلُواۡ
and do
righteous deeds
لَهُم
for them
(will be) forgiveness
and a reward
great
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.
35:8
أَفَمَن
Then is (he) who
is made fair-seeming
لَهُۥ
to him
سُو ٓءُ
(the) evil
عَمَلِهِۦ
(of) his deed
فَرَءَاهُ
so that he sees it
حَسَنًاۖ
(as) good
For indeed
Allah
يُضِلُّ
lets go astray
مَن
whom
He wills
وَيَهۡدِى
and guides
مَن
whom
He wills
فَلَا
So (let) not
تَذۡهَبۡ
go out
نَفۡسُكَ
your soul
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
for them
حَسَرٰ
(in) regrets
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
(is) All-Knower
of what
يَصۡنَعُو نَ
٨they do
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allāh sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing of what they do.
35:9
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
(is) the One Who
أَرۡسَلَ
sends
the winds
فَتُثِيرُ
so that they raise
سَحَابًا
(the) clouds
and We drive them
إِلَىٰ
to
بَلَدٍ
a land
dead
and We revive
بِهِ
therewith
the earth
بَعۡدَ
after
مَوۡتِهَاۚ
its death
كَذٰ
Thus
(will be) the Resurrection
And it is Allāh who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.
35:10
مَن
Whoever
[is] desires
يُرِيدُ
[is] desires
the honor
فَلِلَّهِ
then for Allah
(is) the Honor
جَمِيعًاۚ
all
إِلَيۡهِ
To Him
يَصۡعَدُ
ascends
the words
good
وَٱ لۡعَمَلُ
and the deed
righteous
يَرۡفَعُهُۚۥ
raises it
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
But those who
يَمۡكُرُونَ
plot
the evil
لَهُمۡ
for them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
severe
and (the) plotting
أُوۡ لَـٰٓ ئِكَ
(of) those
هُوَ
it
يَبُو رُ
١٠(will) perish
Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allāh belongs all honor.1 To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it.2 But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
35:11
وَٱ للَّهُ
And Allah
خَلَقَكُم
created you
from
dust
then
مِن
from
a semen-drop
then
جَعَلَكُمۡ
He made you
أَزۡوٰ جًاۚ
pairs
And not
تَحۡمِلُ
conceives
مِنۡ
any
أُنث َىٰ
female
وَلَا
and not
تَضَعُ
gives birth
إِلَّا
except
بِعِلۡمِهِۚۦ
with His knowledge
وَمَا
And not
يُعَمّ َرُ
is granted life
مِن
any
aged person
and not
يُنق َصُ
is lessened
مِنۡ
from
عُمُرِهِۦٓ
his life
إِلَّا
but
فِى
(is) in
كِتَـٰ بٍۚ
a Register
إِنّ َ
Indeed
ذٰ
that
عَلَى
for
Allah
يَسِي رٌ
١١(is) easy
And Allāh created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allāh is easy.
35:12
وَمَا
And not
يَسۡتَوِى
are alike
the two seas
هَـٰ ذَا
This
عَذۡبٌ
(is) fresh
sweet
pleasant
its drink
وَهَـٰ ذَا
and this
مِلۡحٌ
salty
أُجَاجٌۖ
(and) bitter
And from
each
you eat
لَحۡمًا
meat
fresh
and you extract
حِلۡيَةً
ornaments
you wear them
وَتَرَى
and you see
the ships
فِيهِ
in it
مَوَاخِرَ
cleaving
لِتَبۡ تَغُواۡ
so that you may seek
مِن
of
His Bounty
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
and that you may
تَشۡكُرُو نَ
١٢be grateful
And not alike are the two seas [i.e., bodies of water]. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
35:13
يُولِجُ
He causes to enter
the night
فِى
in (to)
the day
وَيُولِجُ
and He causes to enter
the day
فِى
in (to)
the night
وَسَخَّرَ
and He has subjected
the sun
وَٱ لۡقَمَرَ
and the moon
كُلٌّ
each
running
لِأَجَلٍ
for a term
appointed
That (is)
Allah
رَبُّكُمۡ
your Lord
لَهُ
for Him
(is) the Dominion
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those whom
تَدۡ عُونَ
you invoke
مِن
besides Him
besides Him
مَا
not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
they possess
مِن
even
(as much as) the membrane of a date-seed
He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allāh, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed.
35:14
إِن
If
you invoke them
لَا
not
يَسۡمَعُواۡ
they hear
دُعَا ٓءَكُمۡ
your call
وَلَوۡ
and if
سَمِعُواۡ
they heard
مَا
not
they (would) respond
لَكُمۡۖ
to you
وَيَوۡمَ
And (on the) Day
(of) the Resurrection
يَكۡفُرُونَ
they will deny
بِشِرۡكِكُمۡۚ
your association
وَلَا
And none
يُنَبِّئُكَ
can inform you
مِثۡلُ
like
خَبِي رٍ
١٤(the) All-Aware
If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association.1 And none can inform you like [one] Aware [of all matters].
35:15
۞يَـٰٓ أَيُّهَا
O
mankind
أَنت ُمُ
You
(are) those in need
إِلَى
of
Allah
وَٱ للَّهُ
while Allah
هُوَ
He
(is) Free of need
the Praiseworthy
O mankind, you are those in need of Allāh, while Allāh is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
35:16
إِن
If
He wills
يُذۡهِبۡ كُمۡ
He (can) do away with you
وَيَأۡتِ
and bring
بِخَلۡقٍ
in a creation
new
If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation.
35:17
وَمَا
And not
ذٰ
that
عَلَى
(is) on
Allah
بِعَزِي زٍ
١٧difficult
And that is for Allāh not difficult.
35:18
وَلَا
And not
تَزِرُ
will bear
وَازِرَةٌ
bearer of burdens
burden
أُخۡرَىٰۚ
(of) another
وَإِن
And if
calls
مُثۡقَلَةٌ
a heavily laden
إِلَىٰ
to
حِمۡلِهَا
(carry) its load
لَا
not
يُحۡمَلۡ
will be carried
مِنۡهُ
of it
شَىۡءٌ
anything
even if
كَانَ
he be
ذَا
near of kin
قُرۡبَىٰٓۗ
near of kin
إِنّ َمَا
Only
تُنذ ِرُ
you can warn
those who
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
fear
رَبَّهُم
their Lord
unseen
وَأَقَامُواۡ
and establish
the prayer
وَمَن
And whoever
purifies himself
فَإِنّ َمَا
then only
يَتَزَكَّىٰ
he purifies
لِنَفۡسِهِۚۦ
for his own self
وَإِلَى
And to
Allah
(is) the destination
And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allāh is the [final] destination.
35:19
وَمَا
And not
يَسۡتَوِى
equal
(are) the blind
وَٱ لۡبَصِي رُ
١٩and the seeing
Not equal are the blind and the seeing,
35:20
وَلَا
And not
the darkness[es]
وَلَا
and not
[the] light
Nor are the darknesses and the light,
35:21
وَلَا
And not
the shade
وَلَا
and not
the heat
Nor are the shade and the heat,1
35:22
وَمَا
And not
يَسۡتَوِى
equal
(are) the living
وَلَا
and not
the dead
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
يُسۡمِعُ
causes to hear
مَن
whom
He wills
وَمَآ
and not
أَنت َ
you
بِمُسۡمِعٍ
can make hear
(those) who
(are) in
the graves
And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allāh causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.1
35:23
إِنۡ
Not
أَنت َ
you (are)
إِلَّا
but
نَذِي رٌ
٢٣a warner
You, [O Muḥammad], are not but a warner.
35:24
إِنّ َآ
Indeed, We
أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰ كَ
[We] have sent you
بِٱ لۡحَقِّ
with the truth
بَشِيرًا
(as) a bearer of glad tidings
and (as) a warner
And not
(was) any
أُمّ َةٍ
nation
إِلَّا
but
خَلَا
had passed
فِيهَا
within it
نَذِي رٌ
٢٤a warner
Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner.
35:25
وَإِن
And if
they deny you
فَقَدۡ
then certainly
كَذَّبَ
denied
those who
مِن
(were) before them
(were) before them
جَا ٓءَتۡهُمۡ
Came to them
رُسُلُهُم
their Messengers
with clear signs
وَبِٱ ل زُّبُرِ
and with Scriptures
وَبِٱ لۡكِتَـٰ بِ
and with the Book
[the] enlightening
And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.
35:26
ثُمّ َ
Then
أَخَذۡتُ
I seized
those who
كَفَرُواۡۖ
disbelieved
فَكَيۡفَ
and how
كَانَ
was
نَكِي رِ
٢٦My rejection
Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach.
35:27
أَلَمۡ
Do not
تَرَ
you see
أَنّ َ
that
Allah
أَنز َلَ
sends down
مِنَ
from
the sky
مَا ٓءً
water
then We bring forth
بِهِۦ
therewith
ثَمَرٰ تٍ
fruits
(of) various
أَلۡوٰ
[their] colors
وَمِنَ
And in
the mountains
جُدَدُۢ
(are) tracts
white
and red
(of) various
أَلۡوٰ
[their] colors
وَغَرَابِيبُ
and intensely black
سُو د ٌ
٢٧and intensely black
Do you not see that Allāh sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black.
35:28
وَمِنَ
And among
men
وَٱ ل دَّوَا ٓبِّ
and moving creatures
وَٱ لۡأَنۡعَـٰ مِ
and the cattle
مُخۡتَلِفٌ
(are) various
أَلۡوٰ ۥ
[their] colors
كَذٰ
likewise
إِنّ َمَا
Only
يَخۡشَى
fear
Allah
مِنۡ
among
عِبَادِهِ
His slaves
those who have knowledge
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
(is) All-Mighty
غَفُو رٌ
٢٨Oft-Forgiving
And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allāh, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.
35:29
إِنّ َ
Indeed
those who
يَتۡلُونَ
recite
كِتَـٰ بَ
(the) Book
(of) Allah
وَأَقَامُواۡ
and establish
the prayer
وَأَنف َقُواۡ
and spend
مِمّ َا
out of what
رَزَقۡ نَـٰ هُمۡ
We have provided them
سِرًّا
secretly
and openly
hope
تِجَـٰ رَةً
(for) a commerce
never
it will perish
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allāh and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e., profit] that will never perish -
35:30
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ
That He may give them in full
أُجُورَهُمۡ
their rewards
وَيَزِيدَهُم
and increase for them
of
His Bounty
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, He
غَفُورٌ
(is) Oft-Forgiving
Most Appreciative
That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.1
35:31
وَٱ لَّذِىٓ
And (that) which
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
We have revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
to you
مِنَ
of
the Book
هُوَ
it
(is) the truth
مُصَدِّقًا
confirming
what (was)
بَيۡنَ
before it
يَدَيۡهِۗ
before it
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
بِعِبَادِهِۦ
of His slaves
لَخَبِيرُۢ
surely, (is) All-Aware
All-Seer
And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed Allāh, of His servants, is Aware and Seeing.
35:32
ثُمّ َ
Then
أَوۡرَثۡنَا
We caused to inherit
the Book
those whom
We have chosen
مِنۡ
of
عِبَادِنَاۖ
Our slaves
فَمِنۡهُمۡ
and among them
ظَالِمٌ
(is he) who wrongs
himself
وَمِنۡهُم
and among them
(is he who is) moderate
and among them
سَابِقُۢ
(is he who is) foremost
in good deeds
بِإِذۡنِ
by permission
(of) Allah
ذٰ
That
هُوَ
is
the Bounty
the great
Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants;1 and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allāh. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.
35:33
جَنّ َـٰ تُ
Gardens
عَدۡ نٍ
(of) Eternity
they will enter them
يُحَلَّوۡنَ
They will be adorned
فِيهَا
therein
مِنۡ
with
أَسَاوِرَ
bracelets
مِن
of
gold
and pearls
and their garments
فِيهَا
therein
حَرِي رٌ
٣٣(will be of) silk
[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.
35:34
وَقَالُواۡ
And they (will) say
All praises
لِلَّهِ
(be) to Allah
the One Who
أَذۡهَبَ
(has) removed
عَنّ َا
from us
the sorrow
إِنّ َ
Indeed
رَبَّنَا
our Lord
لَغَفُورٌ
(is) surely Oft-Forgiving
Most Appreciative
And they will say, "Praise to Allāh, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -
35:35
ٱلَّذِىٓ
The One Who
أَحَلَّنَا
has settled us
دَارَ
(in) a Home
(of) Eternity
مِن
(out) of
His Bounty
لَا
Not
يَمَسُّنَا
touches us
فِيهَا
therein
نَصَبٌ
any fatigue
and not
يَمَسُّنَا
touches
فِيهَا
therein
لُغُو ب ٌ
٣٥weariness
He who has settled us in the home of duration [i.e., Paradise] out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."
35:36
وَٱ لَّذِينَ
And those who
كَفَرُواۡ
disbelieve
لَهُمۡ
for them
نَارُ
(will be the) Fire
جَهَنّ َمَ
(of) Hell
لَا
Not
يُقۡ ضَىٰ
is decreed
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
for them
فَيَمُوتُواۡ
that they die
وَلَا
and not
يُخَفَّفُ
will be lightened
عَنۡهُم
for them
of
عَذَابِهَاۚ
its torment
كَذٰ
Thus
نَجۡ زِى
We recompense
كُلَّ
every
كَفُو رٍ
٣٦ungrateful one
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them1 so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one.
35:37
وَهُمۡ
And they
يَصۡطَرِخُونَ
will cry
فِيهَا
therein
رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
أَخۡرِجۡ نَا
Bring us out
نَعۡمَلۡ
we will do
صَـٰ لِحًا
righteous (deeds)
غَيۡرَ
other than
(that) which
كُنّ َا
we used
نَعۡمَلُۚ
(to) do
أَوَلَمۡ
Did not
نُعَمّ ِرۡكُم
We give you life long enough
that
يَتَذَكَّرُ
(would) receive admonition
فِيهِ
therein
مَن
whoever
receives admonition
وَجَا ٓءَكُمُ
And came to you
the warner
فَذُوقُواۡ
So taste
فَمَا
then not
لِلظَّـٰ لِمِينَ
(is) for the wrongdoers
مِن
any
helper
And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us;1 we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper.
35:38
إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
عَـٰ لِمُ
(is the) Knower
غَيۡبِ
(of the) unseen
(of) the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضِۚ
and the earth
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, He
عَلِيمُۢ
(is the) All-Knower
of what (is) in the breasts
of what (is) in the breasts
Indeed, Allāh is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
35:39
هُوَ
He
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَكُمۡ
made you
خَلَـٰٓ ئِفَ
successors
فِى
in
the earth
فَمَن
And whoever
disbelieves
فَعَلَيۡهِ
then upon him
كُفۡرُهُۖۥ
(is) his disbelief
وَلَا
And not
يَزِيدُ
increase
the disbelievers
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
their disbelief
عِند َ
near
رَبِّهِمۡ
their Lord
إِلَّا
except
مَقۡ تًاۖ
(in) hatred
and not
يَزِيدُ
increase
the disbelievers
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
their disbelief
إِلَّا
except
خَسَارًا
٣٩(in) loss
It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.
35:40
قُلۡ
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
Have you seen
شُرَكَا ٓءَكُمُ
your partners
those whom
تَدۡ عُونَ
you call
مِن
besides
besides
Allah
أَرُونِى
Show Me
مَاذَا
what
خَلَقُواۡ
they have created
مِنَ
from
the earth
أَمۡ
or
لَهُمۡ
for them
شِرۡكٌ
(is) a share
in
the heavens
أَمۡ
Or
ءَاتَيۡنَـٰ هُمۡ
have We given them
كِتَـٰ بًا
a Book
so they
عَلَىٰ
(are) on
بَيِّنَتٍ
a clear proof
therefrom
بَلۡ
Nay
إِن
not
promise
the wrongdoers
بَعۡضُهُم
some of them
(to) others
إِلَّا
except
غُرُورًا
٤٠delusion
Say, "Have you considered1 your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allāh? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom? [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion."2
35:41
۞إِنّ َ
Indeed
Allah
يُمۡسِكُ
upholds
the heavens
وَٱ لۡأَرۡضَ
and the earth
أَن
lest
they cease
وَلَئِن
And if
they should cease
إِنۡ
not
أَمۡسَكَهُمَا
can uphold them
مِنۡ
any
أَحَدٍ
one
after Him
after Him
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, He
كَانَ
is
حَلِيمًا
Most Forbearing
غَفُورًا
٤١Oft-Forgiving
Indeed, Allāh holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing1 and Forgiving.
35:42
وَأَقۡ سَمُواۡ
And they swore
بِٱ للَّهِ
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
(the) strongest
أَيۡمَـٰ نِهِمۡ
(of) their oaths
لَئِن
that if
came to them
نَذِيرٌ
a warner
surely, they would be
أَهۡدَىٰ
more guided
مِنۡ
than
إِحۡدَى
any
(of) the nations
فَلَمّ َا
But when
جَا ٓءَهُمۡ
came to them
نَذِيرٌ
a warner
not
زَادَهُمۡ
it increased them
إِلَّا
but
نُفُورًا
٤٢(in) aversion
And they swore by Allāh their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion
35:43
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارًا
(Due to) arrogance
in
the land
وَمَكۡرَ
and plotting
(of) the evil
وَلَا
but not
يَحِيقُ
encompasses
the plot
(of) the evil
إِلَّا
except
بِأَهۡلِهِۚۦ
its own people
فَهَلۡ
Then do
يَنظ ُرُونَ
they wait
إِلَّا
except
سُنّ َتَ
(the) way
(of) the former (people)
فَلَن
But never
you will find
لِسُنّ َتِ
in (the) way
(of) Allah
تَبۡ دِيلاًۖ
any change
and never
you will find
لِسُنّ َتِ
in (the) way
(of) Allah
تَحۡوِيلاً
٤٣any alteration
[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way [i.e., fate] of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way [i.e., established method] of Allāh any change, and you will never find in the way of Allāh1 any alteration.2
35:44
أَوَلَمۡ
Have they not
يَسِيرُواۡ
traveled
فِى
in
the land
فَيَنظ ُرُواۡ
and seen
كَيۡفَ
how
كَانَ
was
عَـٰ قِبَةُ
(the) end
(of) those who
مِن
(were) before them
(were) before them
وَكَانُوٓ اۡ
And they were
أَشَدَّ
stronger
مِنۡهُمۡ
than them
قُوَّۚةً
(in) power
But not
كَانَ
is
Allah
لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ
that can escape (from) Him
مِن
any
thing
in
the heavens
وَلَا
and not
فِى
in
the earth
إِنّ َهُۥ
Indeed, He
كَانَ
is
عَلِيمًا
All-Knower
All-Powerful
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allāh is not to be caused failure [i.e., prevented] by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.
35:45
وَلَوۡ
And if
يُؤَاخِذُ
Allah (were to) punish
Allah (were to) punish
the people
بِمَا
for what
كَسَبُواۡ
they have earned
مَا
not
تَرَكَ
He would leave
عَلَىٰ
on
ظَهۡرِهَا
its back
مِن
any
creature
But
He gives them respite
إِلَىٰٓ
till
أَجَلٍ
a term
appointed
And when
جَا ٓءَ
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
their term
فَإِنّ َ
then indeed
Allah
كَانَ
is
بِعِبَادِهِۦ
of His slaves
بَصِيرَۢا
٤٥All-Seer
And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allāh has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
36:1
يسٓ
١Ya Seen
Yā, Seen.1
36:2
وَٱ لۡقُرۡءَانِ
By the Quran
the Wise
By the wise1 Qur’ān,
36:3
إِنّ َكَ
Indeed, you
لَمِنَ
(are) among
the Messengers
Indeed you, [O Muḥammad], are from among the messengers,
36:4
عَلَىٰ
On
صِرٰ طٍ
a Path
Straight
On a straight path.
36:5
تَنز ِيلَ
A revelation
(of) the All-Mighty
the Most Merciful
[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
36:6
لِتُنذ ِرَ
That you may warn
قَوۡمًا
a people
not
أُنذ ِرَ
were warned
ءَابَا ٓؤُهُمۡ
their forefathers
فَهُمۡ
so they
غَـٰ فِلُو نَ
٦(are) heedless
That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.
36:7
لَقَدۡ
Certainly
حَقَّ
(has) proved true
the word
عَلَىٰٓ
upon
أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ
most of them
فَهُمۡ
so they
لَا
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُو نَ
٧believe
Already the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe.
36:8
إِنّ َا
Indeed, We
جَعَلۡنَا
[We] have placed
فِىٓ
on
أَعۡنَـٰ قِهِمۡ
their necks
أَغۡلَـٰ لاً
iron collars
and they
إِلَى
(are up) to
the chins
فَهُم
so they
(are with) heads raised up
Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.
36:9
وَجَعَلۡنَا
And We have made
مِنۢ
from
before/between
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
their hands/their front
سَدًّا
a barrier
and from
خَلۡفِهِمۡ
behind them
سَدًّا
a barrier
and We covered them
فَهُمۡ
so they
لَا
(do) not
يُبۡ صِرُو نَ
٩see
And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.
36:10
وَسَوَا ٓءٌ
And it (is) same
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
to them
ءَأَنذ َرۡتَهُمۡ
whether you warn them
أَمۡ
or
لَمۡ
(do) not
تُنذ ِرۡهُمۡ
warn them
لَا
not
يُؤۡمِنُو نَ
١٠they will believe
And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.
36:11
إِنّ َمَا
Only
تُنذ ِرُ
you (can) warn
مَنِ
(him) who
follows
the Reminder
وَخَشِىَ
and fears
the Most Gracious
بِٱ لۡغَيۡبِۖ
in the unseen
فَبَشِّرۡهُ
So give him glad tidings
بِمَغۡفِرَةٍ
of forgiveness
and a reward
noble
You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.
36:12
إِنّ َا
Indeed, We
نَحۡنُ
[We]
نُحۡىِ
[We] give life
(to) the dead
وَنَكۡتُبُ
and We record
مَا
what
قَدَّمُواۡ
they have sent before
وَءَاثَـٰ رَهُمۡۚ
and their footprints
وَكُلَّ
and every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
أَحۡصَيۡنَـٰ هُ
We have enumerated it
فِىٓ
in
إِمَامٍ
a Register
clear
Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.
36:13
وَٱ ضۡرِبۡ
And set forth
لَهُم
to them
an example
أَصۡحَـٰ بَ
(of the) companions
(of) the city
إِذۡ
when
جَا ٓءَهَا
came to it
the Messengers
And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it -
36:14
إِذۡ
When
أَرۡسَلۡنَآ
We sent
إِلَيۡهِمُ
to them
two (Messengers)
فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا
but they denied both of them
فَعَزَّزۡنَا
so We strengthened them
بِثَالِثٍ
with a third
and they said
إِنّ َآ
Indeed, We
إِلَيۡكُم
to you
(are) Messengers
When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened [them] with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you."
36:15
قَالُواۡ
They said
مَآ
Not
أَنت ُمۡ
you
إِلَّا
(are) but
بَشَرٌ
human beings
like us
وَمَآ
and not
أَنز َلَ
has revealed
the Most Gracious
مِن
any
thing
إِنۡ
Not
أَنت ُمۡ
you
إِلَّا
(are) but
تَكۡذِبُو نَ
١٥lying
They said, "You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies."
36:16
قَالُواۡ
They said
رَبُّنَا
Our Lord
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
إِنّ َآ
that we
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
to you
لَمُرۡسَلُو نَ
١٦(are) surely Messengers
They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,
36:17
وَمَا
And not
عَلَيۡنَآ
(is) on us
إِلَّا
except
the conveyance
clear
And we are not responsible except for clear notification."
36:18
قَالُوٓ اۡ
They said
إِنّ َا
Indeed, we
تَطَيَّرۡنَا
[we] see an evil omen
بِكُمۡۖ
from you
لَئِن
If
not
تَنت َهُواۡ
you desist
لَنَرۡجُمَنّ َكُمۡ
surely, we will stone you
وَلَيَمَسَّنّ َكُم
and surely will touch you
from us
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
أَلِي مٌ
١٨painful
They said, "Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment."
36:19
قَالُواۡ
They said
طَـٰٓ ئِرُكُم
Your evil omen
(be) with you
أَئِن
Is it because
you are admonished
Nay
أَنت ُمۡ
you
قَوۡمٌ
(are) a people
transgressing
They said, "Your omen [i.e., fate] is with yourselves. Is it1 because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people."
36:20
وَجَا ٓءَ
And came
مِنۡ
from
أَقۡ صَا
(the) farthest end
(of) the city
رَجُلٌ
a man
running
قَالَ
He said
يَـٰ قَوۡمِ
O my People
Follow
the Messengers
And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, "O my people, follow the messengers.
36:21
ٱتَّبِعُواۡ
Follow
مَن
(those) who
(do) not
يَسۡــَٔلُكُمۡ
ask (of) you
أَجۡ رًا
any payment
and they
(are) rightly guided
Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided.
36:22
وَمَا
And what
لِىَ
(is) for me
لَآ
(that) not
أَعۡبُدُ
I worship
the One Who
فَطَرَنِى
created me
وَإِلَيۡهِ
and to Whom
تُرۡجَعُو نَ
٢٢you will be returned
And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned?
36:23
ءَأَتَّخِذُ
Should I take
مِن
besides Him
besides Him
ءَالِهَةً
gods
إِن
If
intends for me
the Most Gracious
بِضُرٍّ
any harm
not
تُغۡنِ
will avail
عَنّ ِى
[from] me
شَفَـٰ عَتُهُمۡ
their intercession
شَيۡــًٔا
(in) anything
and not
يُنق ِذُو نِ
٢٣they (can) save me
Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?
36:24
إِنّ ِىٓ
Indeed, I
إِذًا
then
surely would be in
ضَلَـٰ لٍ
an error
clear
Indeed, I would then be in manifest error.
36:25
إِنّ ِىٓ
Indeed, I
ءَامَنت ُ
[I] have believed
بِرَبِّكُمۡ
in your Lord
فَٱ سۡمَعُو نِ
٢٥so listen to me
Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me."
36:26
قِيلَ
It was said
Enter
Paradise
قَالَ
He said
يَـٰ لَيۡتَ
I wish
قَوۡمِى
my people
يَعۡلَمُو نَ
٢٦knew
It was said, "Enter Paradise."1 He said, "I wish my people could know
36:27
بِمَا
Of how
غَفَرَ
has forgiven
لِى
me
رَبِّى
my Lord
وَجَعَلَنِى
and placed me
مِنَ
among
the honored ones
Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored."
